I paid this shop to perform a standard tubeless sealant service. When I took my bike out for a…read moreride, the wheel felt completely off-balance and heavy, even though they assured me the job was done. Suspecting an issue, I removed the tire myself, and what I found was shocking (see attached photo). Instead of properly removing the tire, cleaning out the old, hardened, massive latex ball (a 'sealant monster'), and then adding fresh liquid, they apparently just injected new sealant right over the top of this hardened clump. A basic part of tubeless service is cleaning the tire. By failing to do so, they wasted my money, made my bike unsafe to ride (due to the severe imbalance), and completely missed a standard maintenance step. When you pay a professional shop, you expect professional service, not a lazy shortcut that leaves a huge, hardened glob inside your tire. I would strongly caution others about getting basic maintenance done here if this is the standard of work they allow out of their service bay.

You get your bike fixed way faster than at a shop, because you fix it right away. The mission is really great, because in this time, rents are so expensive. Giant confirmed that in no circumstances should I be charged an assembly fee. Joel spoke to me on the phone and tried to trick me into thinking that I had somehow agreed to potential fees on the Giant website, which I have since gone back and confirmed was not true. Honestly really disappointing and frustrating. The interaction felt like I was dealing with a scammer. Luckily, I was able to move my purchase to another shop.

I personally felt uncomfortable by the customer service here. The guy seemed almost disinterested at first and didn't initially come out behind the counter to talk with us. He had great info but seemed more interested in whatever he was doing behind the counter. Nobody else was in the store. Eventually he came out to assist but in the end said we need to make decisions on what we want first. Point made. Overall though I felt uncomfortable at this location. The Happy Valley location were both like a whole lot better. This location however is the only location that does rentals. Nice big place though! We do love the products in the end.
