Shower and free shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

The hotel is a great value for the price. Given my booking on a busy weekend. Rooms are spacious and have a kitchette. The hotel is in need of updating. My room had some flickering lights, windows that didn't seal and a fairly persistent weed smell. The bathroom and beds were clean but some of the carpet in my room had melted patches and the door took some effort to lock as it was clear that the door had been pried open before. The room had two TV's- one for the bedroom area and one for the office which seemed strange since they were mounted less than a foot apart. The desk lighting was oddly greenish. The room was loud. I'm not sure where all of the noise was but the sound of traffic and some kind of construction was distracting. The bed was comfortable and I was glad to be close to all of the attractions.

Some cons, lots of pros, and would definitely stay here again. PROS: -- We had a corner room that was *huge.* -- Free hot breakfast -- Truly the best water pressure I've ever had in a hotel. -- (Mostly) friendly staff -- Easy walking distance to inner harbor (but still affordable) -- Beautiful lobby with soft drinks and (some) snacks available for purchase CONS: -- Just expect the free breakfast to be a cluster. It ends at 9, so the 8-9am rush is real, and the setup of the food means you're running into/navigating around people constantly. Also the coffee is out for 15-20 minutes at a time. Again, just expect it and you won't be grumpy. (Or just make free coffee in your room.) -- Check-in is at 3, no exceptions. -- We left from 10-3 one day but our room didn't get cleaned. You could probably avoid this just by stopping by the front desk on your way out and letting them know when you'll be back. -- While 90% of the staff was lovely, we did have one front desk employee who was so unhappy, we felt like we were interrupting their social hour by checking in. Waiting for coffee and one unfriendly staff member isn't enough to deter me from staying here again! This place is truly comfortable, and for the price, it's especially great. If you're expecting 5-star accommodations and service, you'll need to head to Harbor East and pay twice as much.

Absolutely love this hotel - friendly, helpful front desk staff; clean, comfortable rooms; interesting decor - especially the art work in hallways and rooms; delicious, full breakfast (included), and close to Inner Harbor attractions. DEFINITELY will stay here again whenever I am in Baltimore!

The bank vault in the basement

This hotel is pretty close to the Inner Habor area in downtown, so you don't really have to worry about driving too much, unless you plan on leaving the immediate area. The rooms at this hotel are extremely spacious and clean, so you can really spread out. They offer a decent hot breakfast each morning, which is included with your room price, and it has a make your own waffle station. The staff here was very approachable and knowledgeable about the area too. Just an FYI, they don't offer an airport shuttle and if you leave early in the morning for a flight, using Uber/Lyft is your best bet. Pro tip: Up until 2007, this location was a working bank. If you go downstairs into the basement, they kept the original bank vault as a meeting space. So, if you're looking for something very instagrammable, check it out.

+ Convenient location (Inner Harbor). Lots of shopping, restaurants, coffee, Convention Center, harbor, etc. within walking distance. About $35 taxi ride from the airport. About $28 with Uber. + We were able to check in early. Although not always a guarantee, this definitely made these tired travelers happy. + Building used to be a bank, which meant there were many interesting and beautiful architectural features throughout the hotel. + 2 bedroom/2 bath suite was comfortable and roomy. Living room also had a sofa sleeper. + Free breakfast. Few hot items (turkey bacon and eggs). Cereal. Fruit. + Friendly and helpful staff. + Coffee and water available all day in the lobby. + Big bowl of Chupa Chups (lollipops) in the lobby. Nice to have a sugary pick-me-up when returning from a long day. - Shower temperature was inconsistent. No shower pressure. - Not enough lighting in the living room. Only one lamp and a small light over the sink/kitchenette area -definitely not enough to light the room. We even turned the TV on for extra light.

Bed bug

**bed bugs** jumping in the chair I was writing in. I checked out a few minutes after I checked in. I will commute from DC for two days instead of staying here. --- Walked in and the place smelled faintly like a steaming sewer. A guest at the front desk was trying to get a room in a different hotel. Not sure what that was about but I left and came back after lunch. By this point the receptionist thought that my room might be ready but had to walk up to the 5th floor to check for herself. The room itself is great; they gave me a corner suite which is huge and appears very clean. I'm a little alarmed that somebody stayed in this hotel just eight months ago and reported bedbugs. I'm hopeful that that problem has been solved but I'll update this review in the morning if I get eaten alive!

Called to make a reservation. The person I spoke with was very rude when I asked about the parking. We decided not to stay at this hotel.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. They have a Grab & Go stocked with a variety of snacks, drinks, some ice cream, and useful things.

We booked a reservation for 4 nights and chose to pay the premium price for this hotel due to the beautiful restaurant onsite and the location. We were excited for our stay. When we arrived we learned they were under construction. There was no food onsite for the duration of our stay - which was 1) not communicated ahead of the stay and 2) very inconvenient for my husband who was working all day from the hotel and would have preferred to take short lunch breaks at the onsite restaurant. This was half the reason for us booking. If that was the extent of it, I would've chalked it up as just bad communication and taken the loss. However, When we arrived they were actively painting the ceiling by the elevators and in order to reach our room, we had to step on the drop cloth covered in paint and navigate past the men on ladders. I got paint on my shoes and paint dripped on my arm on the way to elevator. We stayed on floor 10 and the entire floor had been recently painted and the walls were lined with plastic. I'm pregnant and the paint fumes were overwhelming and gave me a headache to the point where I ended up staying with a friend locally while my husband stayed at our hotel. The banging went on night and day and it made his working experience very tough as well. This absolutely should have been communicated as this environment was dangerous for a pregnant woman and just very uncomfortable for folks in general. I'm really disappointed in Hilton and I would never recommend this hotel to a friend due to the high price and terrible communication and unwillingness to shut down for renovations and instead inconvenience your guests.

We were able to see stunning views of the water and also the city. I'm not sure how long this hotel has been there, but the rooms are modern and up-to-date. They are more textbook than boutique. It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons).
