We were in town for the weekend and my husband booked a three night stay at this hotel. It is in a good location just a few blocks north of the inner harbor. We made several walks there to do touristy things or visit restaurants. A standard buffet style breakfast buffet is included every morning. Our room was on the first floor and had twenty foot ceilings, which was nice. There was also a full kitchen in the room. The coffee maker was old and didn't work. They replaced it after a call to the front desk, but the second one also did not work. I gave up and just got coffee at breakfast. The rooms are not cleaned every day. read more

This was the highest rated hotel near the concert venue we were going to in Baltimore's Power Plant Live! . The hotel was easy to find. We were immediately impressed upon entering the hotel. Valet services were professional and efficient. The lobby area and hall area of the hotel are grand and spectacular. High ceilings everywhere. Going inside our suite was exciting. We loved how spacious our suite was and all the amenities offered like a living room area with a large screen tv in an open setting by the kitchen dining area - great for entertaining guests. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking, glassware, and eating utensils. The master bedroom was huge and there was a separate dressing mirror area by the sink & bathroom area. Our suite was very clean and was one of the finest hotel rooms we ever experienced. Breakfast was an excellent buffet experience as well. I loved the variety of options offered especially the fresh fruits. It was easy for the Lyft to locate us and pick us up at the hotel for the two days we stayed there. We went to our first concert on the first day at the hotel. On the second day, we went to the second concert venue nearby, the Power Plant Live. We noticed that there was security by the door at night and that we were located by an area full of gentleman clubs or strip clubs with busy activity outside. It was never a problem though. I do recommend getting or Lyft , Uber, or transportation from friend's during night time to drop off you off at the hotel entrance instead of walking on foot to the concert venue or nearby attractions at nighttime. It is just a safer mode of transportation instead of walking to nearby attractions. Overall, highly satisfied with our hotel accommodations and experience at Staybridge. The price was $245 a night with our IHG rewards, yet it was a very fair price for the hotel in that area. read more

Start your arrival with Valet parking and the ease of unloading onto a cart, then you are off to explore your awaiting suite. The suite was spread out for room and comfort. Offered a kitchen with plenty of dish ware and empty cabinets for your own. Large refrigerator and microwave and plenty of countertops for eating and prepping. Living room is comfy with sofa and television and more drawers. Desk area with more shelves, cubbies, and drawers. Bedroom offers footstools, comfy chair and another television. Bed was perfection. Bathroom is separated from sink area so tasks can be divided and conquered for couples. Breakfast was great, most people enjoyed it. Orange juice was watered down though, honestly. But the stay was a five star for the comfiness of the room and ease of elevator and carts. read more

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. It didn't appear to be anything special from the outside, but it is a beautiful old building that has been kept in great shape. Our room was on the fourth floor and we immediately noticed the beautiful high ceilings and skylight as soon as we stepped off of the elevator. When we entered the huge room, we were shocked to see that we had a kitchen complete with a stovetop, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes. It's a shame that we were only staying for one short night. We arrived late and woke up early for breakfast which included oatmeal and toppings, yogurt and toppings, bagels, bread, muffins, cereals, make your own waffles, sausage, scrambled "eggs", biscuits and gravy as the daily special, and fruits. We came into town for a conference, this was a perfect hotel. it was about a 15 minute walk to the conference center. the room we had was HUGE, beautiful and quiet. Tuesday and Wednesday evening they had a social hour where they had warm and cold food available for free. the breakfast buffet was wonderful with something for everyone. The coffee was bold and delicious and available all day long. The staff were wonderful. So Pleasant and helpful with suggestions for dinner locations. The entire hotel is gorgeous , tall ceilings, beautiful woodworking, and cast iron railings. The Pictures on the wall gave a lot of information on the history of the building and the city. Located in an area where i would recommend making sure if you are walking you are inside at night but other than that, the hotel itself is Wonderful and would be my first choice if i return to Baltimore in the Future. read more

We stayed 3 nights this trip... Somewhat good location. We stayed in room 406. Which had a king bed and separate room with a kitchen plus a pull out couch. A small desk area that my wife was able to do some work on her computer. Our room was just very stuffy. We couldn't really cool off our room. Even though the thermostat was set at 65 it really didn't cool down. Breakfast served downstairs from 6-9:30. Staff was helpful on finding places of interest in the area. In hindsight I should've stayed a few blocks closer to the Inner Harbor. No we won't stay here again. :( read more

I have been a resident at the Staybridge Hotel for the last 4 & 1/2 years, yes that correct almost 5 years. This is the only IHG hotel that does not have any premium channels, NO HBO, NO BBC, and if you have kids you better bring a tablet because they have cut out the kid's channel as well. Speaking of tablet, the hotel WiFi is not the best I had to purchase a system from T-Mobile that I use as my WiFi. They say that all common areas have Air Conditioning, that is not true any floor above the 1st floor is hot and muggy. I had to purchase two fans so that I could sleep at night. The housekeeper are great, but before I give out kudos let me stay on track. The towels are hard and rough I've felt better at Howard Johnson. They water down there liquid stuff like the shampoo, conditioner and dishwasher liquid. I've been told that I'm like family here but I'm not feeling the love lately. After my first few years here I wrote a review that was great and the staff and management were. Now I'm not sure, I understand that this is a business but if you don't put money back into your business things have a tendency to break down and service goes down as well. Maybe I've been here too long and I see the under gird of the belly of the beast. It's not a good feeling. read more

We had five rooms booked at the Staybridge in Inner Harbor. Sunday morning we stripped the bedding to make sure we wasn't leaving anything and this is what was discovered. It has been a week and the manager has not contacted me yet. I've called cooperate three times and still no help. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card. What can improve is better customer service communication and better cleaning with the linen. Don't stay at this hotel! read more

We stay here for a couple of days because we were visiting the inner harbor. When we first got into the room, we noticed it was really hot. They had the AC off, which I get we want to conserve energy, but if you know, guest will be in there soon, maybe have a timer or someone turn it back on to cool the room down. We were in the room for an hour and realized air was barely coming in the room, we called the front desk to make sure it wasn't user error and we didn't know how to use the thermostat properly. They sent maintenance which came within 10 minutes. He told us it's just a big room and it's going to take a while to cool down. So we left and went shopping for a bit. We were gone for three hours and came back into the room and it was still hot. We thought maybe we were hot from just all the shopping we did, so we all took showers. At this point it's near 11 PM and we're all sweating after our showers. My kids Who are seven months and five years old, are having a hard time sleeping at this point. I called the front desk and ask if they have a fan that we can use. He said he can move us into a different room. We asked for the room to be close by since we have a lot of things to drag with us. He gave us the room next-door, but didn't tell us the room was half the size of what we paid for. So that was super frustrating. But it was nice and cool when we got in. So the AC in our room was definitely broken. We finally got a good nights sleep. Both rooms were clean. The staff overall was friendly. When we checked out, we told the front desk about our issue and asked if we can speak to a manager. A manager did call us later that day and said he would give us extra points because of the issues. And that if we ever stay there again to reach out to him. So that was nice of him. read more

I slept on this sleeper until I actually slept in their bed. Greeted by a wonderfully friendly staff as you enter a surprisingly interesting and historic building. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. If you need something other than what they provide in their suites you are living life wrong. Just saying. 10/10. read more

My coworker and I walk past Staybridge a few times a week while we're out and about in the city. We needed a hotel room for the Baltimore Running Festival weekend and decided on Staybridge just due to the outside of the building. Such interesting architecture. The inside is absolutely beautiful. So many cool features. Mail slots on doors, an old but refurbished mailbox in the lobby. Hotel floors are wide, well lit and gorgeous. The room was spacious and comfortable. Much larger than other brands rooms we've stayed in around the city! I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Baltimore! Convenient to downtown and other parts of Baltimore! Mixed bag. Near strip clubs - that might bother you; I didn't care. Booked the one king, one sleeper sofa room for four people. We were given a room with only a king bed on check in. A trip back to the front desk quickly resolved that issue. But, given that the sleeper sofa pulled out to a twin (not queen, not full) bed, not sure how the suite is meant to sleep four. The king bed was super comfortable, the sleeper sofa mattress was average. We were on the fourth floor and there was definitely noise from the street beginning around 2 AM. I am a light sleeper, others in the room were not bothered. The bathroom was immaculate, which was nice. Breakfast was excellent as far as hotel breakfasts go. Proximity to inner harbor is tough to beat. Building has a very cool history and is gorgeous inside - crazy high ceilings. Would stay again. read more

Great place to stay as far as location is concerned. Rooms are super clean, but things can be pretty chilly in the winter time as the heating unit is tricky to work. According to other reviews, the valet system was something that was optional. Ours was added to our bill. I Have a few gripes! 1. I had read the reviews about the noisy nights due to the adult entertainment district located around the corner. Immediately after my booking I contacted the front desk to request a 3rd floor suite, which was not available when I arrived. Staybridge was an EXCELLENT option for staying in Baltimore if you are doing the Inner Harbor or the aquarium. As soon as we checked in, the gentleman Jeremy was SUPER friendly. It was late, and we forgot to buy milk for our son's bottle (and did not want to go out after walking all day in the city). We asked him where was the closest place to grab some milk, and instantly he went and grabbed two pints from the kitchen for us. I can not tell you how wonderfully helpful and kind this was. He could have easily just told us to go to a 7 Eleven two blocks away, but instead took that extra step. Thanks Jeremy! As for the room, it was a suite, really beautiful and clean room. We intentionally got a kitchen to help with all the food we brought because food is usually not included or terrible at hotels. Thankfully for us, this was NOT the case. The food was DELICIOUS at breakfast and fresh. For example, REAL EGGS PEOPLE, not gross powdered ones. There was a waffle maker, GOOD COFFEE, fresh fruit, and much more. The price of the hotel was extremely affordable as well, and we came during christmas vacation, so I assume that is a busy time. I stayed at the Staybridge Suites for one-night last week during a business trip to Baltimore. My room was spacious with a kitchenette, oven, large fridge, microwave oven, and coffee machine. It was a standard room with two beds on the third floor facing a parking garage. The hotel itself is converted from a culinary institution, and as such does not have a swimming pool. Initially, I was quite impressed with the room. The room had a magnetic key lock, and the hallway was brightly colored and well lit. However, at night, the room became very chilly, and I was unable to adjust the air conditioner and thermostat. Fortunately, the blankets were warm, and the bed comfortable. The walls of my room were thin. I heard doors slamming late at night and very early in the morning, and of course a few loud visitors outside my suite. As for the hotel, there is no evening dining restaurant, but a free buffet breakfast is served in the morning, which includes cereal, eggs, hot beverages, and fruit in an ample dining space. That was fine as I had a very short stay there, less than 24 hours. I found the front desk staff helpful, but they could have done with an extra person at the front desk as it took time to check out and check in. It also meant that purchasing necessities from the hotel store involved a bit of a wait until a line of guests had checked in and checked out. The hotel offers a social hour so visitors can mingle. So, what do you need to Know? -PROS & CONS: PROS -Spacious with basic suite amenities described above -Two blocks away from the inner harbor -near shops and restaurants and the two main maritime attractions US Constellation and a WWII submarine near an Aquarium, art museum and down department stores -Friendly staff -offers free Wi-Fi and free breakfast -There is a free shuttle bus that goes to various destinations and picks up from other hotels. -Offers a fitness room CONS -Parts of the hotel are not ADA Compliant or suitable for handicapped visitors -not enough staff to check in and check out visitors -room walls are thin, and you can hear people talking in the hallway late at night -No dinner or lunch menus offered -the room was chilly, and air conditioning appeared to be an issue. Would I go back? Well, as I am still sampling the hotels in Baltimore, the jury is still out. It's okay for a night if you don't plan to stay long. Location. Location ... LOCATION??? WALKING DISTANCE to the National Aquarium was my biggest factor for choosing this hotel (5 minute walk -SouthEast) in addition to free breakfast, evening social & available suites. But be advised that this hotel is also walking distance to an entire block of Strip Clubs (30 second walk -Due North). You may never know such an entertainment area exists if you keep South of the hotel -especially in the daytime. But at night, expect to find in the streets everything that goes along with it. Depends on you if this factor is a GOOD or BAD Thing? Additionally, it is so sad that there is so many in the streets living without homes. Some will ask for money. Others will simply hold signs. The Holocaust Memorial (to the East) seems to have become an outdoor home for many. That said, I really liked the hotel, itself. It is a beautiful building with old time character. Our suite was clean and spacious -full fridge, small stove, sofa, tall ceilings, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful (at least most of them). We paid for Valet in advance (in general, I hate using Valet service). After arriving, we realized that parking garages are right next door -at a much cheaper rate. Oh well! Valet would be a much safer option if leaving/arriving in dark hours. The drivers were very courteous and quick. It's worth the splurge. Breakfast was good -still the typical IHG buffet in a very nice dining setting. Evening Social was also good (Burger, Bratwurst & Salad night). The Brats were tasty. Very surprisingly, there was NO LIMIT ON DRINKS!!! 2 beer choices on draft (Bud Light & Blue Moon) & cheap bottled wine. Yet so disappointed that evening socials are only on Mon, Tues & Weds nights. Bummer! Walking distance to the Aquarium, a variety of local & souvenir shops, chain stores, restaurants, etc. And, yes, there is Chick-Fil-A & Starbucks nearby! All things considered, I enjoyed my stay. As with ANYWHERE you may visit, be mindful of your surroundings. Hope this helps. read more

Helpful staff, clean, secure and a great place to stay before a cruise leaving from Baltimore. We messed up on our reservation and booked the wrong date. Totally our own fault!! We didn't realize it until we arrived after a 12 hour drive. Hesham who works at the front desk and was able to get us a room. He was very patient, was professional and courteous. He found parking for our car for 8 days and booked our shuttle for us. This is my first yelp review ever written because I wanted to thank Hesham! Let me start off by staying that this hotel is beautiful however, my experience was less than stellar, and that's putting it mildly. I checked in at the front desk shortly after 4:30pm last Friday and immediately regretted my decision. I had planned on having a quiet weekend getaway with family and friends to celebrate my birthday when things took a unexpected turn for the worst, much worst! Myself along with family, friends, and other guests of the hotel started to enter the elevator and within a few minutes of our ride the elevator abruptly came to an alarming holt. Everyone on the elevator was terrified, not only because the elevator stopped but, because the the lights went out and it was so dark you couldn't see your hand In front of your face. After what seemed like an eternity, someone on the floor above us heard our screams and started prying the doors open and we were able to crawl thru a tiny space between the two floors. After everyone was able to exit the elevator, with little to no help from the staff. A few of us returned to the front desk to request a refunds due to the life threatening and traumatic experience. When we explained what happen we were told that no refunds would be granted and that we could talk to the manager once he/she was available. I was flabbergasted as I would think that this situation would constitute an emergency and a manager would be readily available to assist with our concerns. The next day, we attempted to contact the manager as instructed by the front desk clerk and again the manager not only reiterated exactly what the front desk clerk stated he also told us that the maximum capacity for the elevator is approximately 350lbs. If that were the case why wasn't anyone ensuring that the max capacity was reached? Overall I'm now terrified of elevators due to this frantic and traumatic experience. Saturday night stay over with friends at the Staybridge was awesome. The hotel is convenient to the venue we heading to (Baltimore Sound Stage). The hotel is a converted, Art Deco office building and excellently maintained. Appreciated the contactless check-in, clean rooms, valet parking, front of house staff. The 24/7 pantry was stocked for the return munchies and really appreciated. My room faced the parking garage across the street and, contrary to a previous rater, was quiet - perhaps because we were on the 4th floor. Also found the floor to be quiet. First, we were NOT greeted when we came in. Check-in was 3 and we were not given our rooms until 4:40. We were supposed to be at a venue by 5 so obviously that didn't happen. The deposit was not disclosed at reservation time and the rooms were supposed to be adjoining and they were not. Management and corporate are not willing to budge and make this right. We were also not informed of valet parking so we parked in a garage and ended up paying three times the amount. Very poor communication and staff not helpful at all. read more

Semi-Old Hollywood when you enter. Very clean and very pretty. Would definitely stay here again. I will say that the area was iffy. Nothing wrong as far as a lot of other hotels and businesses are right there also but as everyone one else says, there is a strip club on the other side and as we were approaching the hotel, there were 2 police cars arresting someone, so you know, there's that lol. There are a normal people walking but also some sketchy people walking around. But right when you open the hotel doors, you literally forget that fact. I personally requested to be away and on the other side from the strip club and the hotel honored that. They also were well equipped with security thankfully. I stayed here a few days and since the room had everything, I Instacarted groceries which was so convenient in meeting the shopper in the lobby. The hotel has breakfast and coffee for guests as well as a Social so you can meet others. I think as long as you Uber everywhere to and from the hotel, it's a great stay. The hotel at the end of the day can't control the neighborhood but they were so professional, the hotel was beautiful and it was quiet inside of the hotel. We recently stayed at Staybridge Suites at the Inner Harbor. This building, originally the Commerce building, before being renovated, was built in 1904. With many reminders of the time in which it was built, it has been nicely updated. The rooms were nicely appointed with a suitable kitchenette and very comfortable beds. The staff were efficient, professional and personable. The moment we pulled up to the building, the daytime Valet (Phil) was there to help us with our bags and see to our car. When we were going out, he was always prompt in bringing the car out front. Not being familiar with Baltimore, he was very helpful with restaurant suggestions as well as directions. The dining room staff were friendly and responsive, refreshing breakfast items as necessary. We brought some of our own food to save money and would eat as a family in the dining room. This was our third stay. It was a nightmare. We got there the room was a78 degrees and smelled but we had to leave right away. We had to call the front desk just to get the room cooled down and when we came back it still smelled but we were exhausted and I'm disabled and needed to sleep. We reported it the next morning they said they'd handle it. Nothing was done. We moved the bags in front of the bathroom door (because the management lies and is slimy, not to mention you can't get a manager past 6pm.) we came back at 649 and room was worse. The bathroook smell had leaked into the bedroom. We called. They never even sent anyone to check - until the third person. Then we were lying and could have a new room. We had to leave again ( we were on the two vacations I leave the house on a year) and the smell had not been addressed. Not manager. When we came back again nothing had been done it was worse. THEN someone tells me they sent many many people up and no one smelled anything. Again nothing has beeen moved in front of the bathroom door. It was another lie. We finally got some w up and he refused to say it didn't smell and offered another room. I suggested the police be called to have an impartial person decide they said we would be taken care of and it wasn't necessary so at 1 am we changed rooms. The next day the manger. The one who shook my husbands hand and said everyone's opinions are different we are repeat customers (3rd stay in less than a 13 months) and that he would give us 15% off. When we checked out we were refused a bill, receipt or the total. We were told they would email it and couldn't tell us the total it was 0ed out. An hour and a half later the same manager who shook my husbands hand and said he would compensate said everyone went in. That day (after we left) and we were lying. No diacount. Called IGH again (we called them as. They own them the night before) we were promised by case manager Viel we would get that money as it was against policy to check out the way they forced us too, we were scammed and he admitted it was against policy to let us leave without a receipt or total or signature. They refuse now to help. Seniwor case manager "Hank" said, on a recorded line. "We trust and believe our hotels and management over guests". Even though the hotel didn't charge us for Hours after we left, waited til we were far enough away to take it back and leave us without a receipt. The original case manger Viel promised we would get it back. They've scammed and lied. It's not just the Staybridge Inn inner harbor, it's IHG. They don't care about their customers or their proof or their stay. They want money are are ok with management lying and scamming people. Save yourself money (they charge for everything they can, even ask you not to use their washcloth for makeup, it's a sign in the bathrooms I swear). They are overly expensive and the management is rude and a liar and the rest of the staff is terrified of him and you can see the look of uncomfortable on their faces. Even the front desk at night agreed we were being treated poorly. I am canceling all future IHG reservations. My husband card was charged without his signature knowledge or anount agreed upon. They are scammers and thieves. Do not give them your money. Pay they extra 20 for the better and real companies. and in case they claim we didn't stay; last name was under King. Just stayed here with my husband and two toddlers. We booked the two bedroom two king suite. Although the hotel seemed clean and the staff friendly , we had a major issue with the location of this room. Apparently, there is only one of this type of room the whole hotel and it is located IN the exit door on the first floor. My anxiety was through the roof because you don't even need to enter through the lobby or past any security or staff to have access to the suite door, which also only has a door guard and not an independent deadbolt of any kind. Supposedly, you need a room key to enter through that side of the building, but with no security or staff present at the entrance, it would be impossible to make sure that the only people entering were hotel guests. Not to mention the issue that if for some reason my children we able to get out of the room unaccompanied, they could walk right outside unnoticed in seconds and be in the street. The staff tried their best to accommodate a room change, but had nothing available that would comfortably sleep the 4 of us without a pull out sofa involved. Rooms on the first floor were very loud. There was even an incident around 2 am when security had to round up and quiet down what I hope we're guests screaming in the lobby and first floor hallway. You can hear every ounce of street noise, but it's a city, so that wasn't entirely unexpected, but their was certainly no soundproofing involved in its construction. Then around 5:30am you can hear the pots and pans clanging as breakfast is being prepared in the kitchen, which is also right in the middle of the first floor rooms. That is then promptly followed by the noise of the guests gathering for breakfast, again in the middle of the first floor rooms. I can't speak to the rooms on any of the other floors, but if you do book a room in this hotel I highly recommend it not being on the first floor and under no circumstances should it be the 2 king 2 bedroom suite. read more

I had never stayed at a Staybridge Suites so I had no idea what to expect from this hotel. When we arrived, we checked in and found that they had given us a room with two doubles when we wanted a king. A quick call down to reception and they moved us up a floor into a suite that had a kitchenette and a king sized bed. The suite itself was beautiful - gorgeous arched windows that didn't go all the way up the wall, so it felt like we had a very private space. The kitchenette was wonderful, allowed us to make some snacks and they even did the dishes for us! Spacious bathroom and the shower had plenty of room for two. The service at the front counter was wonderful, they were always friendly (and honesty, really funny too) and made us feel at home. I'm a bit clumsy and cut my leg when I half fell off a scooter and the front desk was quick to get me a band-aid when we stopped and asked. Location is everything - we were well located and didn't have too far to walk to get to most of the things we had wanted to try. That being said, yes there's a strippers row a block north of the hotel. We ended up there looking for a liquor store. That being said, none of the patrons that were outdoors were rude or inappropriate, they were respectful and moved aside when we walked down the street and one provided some direction when we couldn't find the liquor store. I didn't feel unsafe here at all, just a bit weird to have such a disparity between such close neighborhoods. Some of our floor neighbors were noisy coming in and out after midnight but there isn't much to be done about that. The hotel was quiet and I slept wonderfully the entire trip, and we like to sleep in late. Would highly recommend, wonderful hotel, beautiful architecture, great service and excellent location. read more

The room was decent, with lots of kitchen stuff available for you to use as well as a complimentary snack. I was a little disappointed my room didn't have a couch, but again, it was a Priceline deal. The bed was super comfy. Kudos to them for their pillow game, as well. What really brought me to deciding to review, was the excellent breakfast. It was super tasty and there were so many options. The staff also was on making sure everything was being refilled. It loses a star because the location is a *tad* sketchy (tons of strip clubs a stones throw away) and there could be more around it. It also sort of sucks that their complimentary happy hour is only M-W. But, overall, there isn't much to complain about. Definitely recommend. read more

0 flexibility!!!! I would not recommend a place that will not work with you at all. I was not aware of the additional charge for parking once I got there. I asked can I just cancel my six night stay? Nope!!! They charged me 110.45 !!! Really, that is not acceptable. Stayed here this past weekend when our original hotel had a problem with our room. They sent us to the Staybridge. Our suite was huge with a kitchen,living room and king size bed. The room was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. Located in a turn of the century building with loads of historical photos,everything recently remodeled, this place was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing and the bed is so comfy. Love the pillows.

This hotel is directly next to 6 very busy strip clubs, night club and parking garage. The amount of noise that comes off the street at night is absolutely absurd. At 3:00am we had, had enough and went down to the front desk. The did give us another room to switch to, however that's much easier said then done with a 1 year old and it was not the room type that we had booked. If you want to get any sort of sleep I would suggest to stay far away from this location. The "front desk manager " is anything but accommodating. Anyone with kids or families this hotel is not at all for you! Find one of the many other hotels in the area as this one is not at all worth the money you pay. read more

GIRLS TRIP!!! Really enjoyed our stay except our room faced the parking facility which was loud and unrelenting with loud cars on Saturday night. Other issues included: 1) Valet Parking instructions were not explained that it was $34.00 per day; 2) Add a door between bedroom and bathroom facilities A little more privacy would have been appreciated; 3) Add a table and chair for eating accomodations. read more

Staybridge Suites is a new gem in Baltimore Inner Harbor area. I think they opened a few month ago and it's beautiful inside. My suite was huge and it has a kitchen with everything you need for your stay and more. It's practically a real apartment. Breakfast was good. I'll definitely come back. read more

Only a few blocks from the inner harbor. Rooms were spacious with high ceilings. Hotel was quiet for the most part. I could hear the outside cars blasting music from the fourth floor. If you walk around the corner of the hotel it's a pretty shady scene. I would recommend heading only in the direction of the harbor. I was able to get discount tickets for the aquarium through the front desk. I did self-parking around the corner and paid half the price of valet. The complimentary breakfast was great. Enough variety to satisfy anyone. Food was good and the dining area was spacious and clean. I came by all times of the day for the complimentary coffee/tea which was nice. read more

location, location, location is the single most important element in baltimore for choosing a hotel and boy were we in the hood. so hood that we were literally next to strip club row, and my room was in the corner of shady strip club alley that i was ill-rested for my 3-nights stay from people loitering around and was basically running off of insomnia... i was placed in the 2nd floor to realize it was the worst location as the dump truck came by everyday at 6a to give me a wake-up call. once was the baltimore chamber of commerce, the elevator gave me tower of terror vibes and the rooms just didn't feel warm and welcoming. the high vaulted ceilings and the beams gave off all kinds of haunted vibes. lol. for some reason my restroom and another smoking room seems to be sharing the same vent, my restroom always reeked of cigarettes so i had to keep my restroom door shut... $29/day valet parking. the valet is pretty prompt. i'm sure there are cheaper options around the hotel, but valet is the only option offered at the hotel. okay enough of the bad, the good redeemed them for 1 extra star. daily breakfasts that are pretty standard with other hotels (continental, egg, breakfast meat, beverages, waffle maker, etc.), monday - wednesday happy hour from 5:30p-7:30p offers unlimited food / beverages (2 beers on tap, basic red / white wine), a full kitchenette that can be used for extended stay, and the staff are always friendly. unfortunately, even with the good, the bad location is enough to keep me from coming back. i'll be aiming for the heart of inner harbor next time. read more

We are current staying there and have a 1 King Bedroom suite. The Suite is very clean and very spacious. The staff is helpful but there is a lack of information in the room as to TV stations, locations of laundry facility where to park upon arrival etc. I have had to ask for everything. Parking is a main problem as the only option they tell you they have available is 34.00 per day for self parking or 34.00 a day for valet parking without the tip. We are here for a week and don"t think paying 238.00 for parking is reasonable. We did fine a parking lot directly diagonally across the street on Commerce Ave. that was much more reasonable. Our room is extremely quite but our view is into the parking lot on the back of the hotel. Old type of hotel with impressive architecture. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the inner harbor and we were there late afternoon and felt safe as there are a lot of police cars around and we were not even aware of any strip club nearby. The breakfast buffet has a pretty good selection but so far it has had the same scrambled eggs and I am hoping they can come up with something else for the rest of the week. read more
