So this place has become a disappointment. We stayed here years ago -- not too long after it opened -- and sadly the service is not the same. We stayed for two days, and while we were out for the majority of the first evening, the room was not accommodating in the least. For starters, we had NO hot or even warm water the first night to shower. The following morning, I noticed the room was not cleaned before our arrival. How did I know? Because the toilet looked dirty (hairs along the sides and between the seat), and there was crumpled lettuce (yes, lettuce) on the floor - in addition to food crumbs and hair that wasn't ours. (As a note, we did not bring any food back to our room.) Upon noticing the room, we spoke to someone at the front desk the following morning in hopes of getting a clean room while we were away. He apologized and said housekeeping would remedy the situation. Well, that was a lie, because when we arrived back in our room in the evening, everything was still untouched. In addition, the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke, and for a hotel that claims to prohibit smoking, someone was on our floor. Though we got this room for a good price, I will not make the mistake of coming here again. There are far too many other options nearby, or even Airbnbs.

Perfect for a two day stay in Baltimore! This hotel is in the best location if you plan on doing most of your activities around the inner harbor. It is an extremely short walk to the inner harbor and other activities in the area. The lobby is gorgeous and is super big. They offer free coffee and water throughout the day for guests. The staff here are also great! Shout out to Arielle and Lorin who checked us in, they were super sweet and were a great first impression of the hospitality the hotel had to offer! Our room was located conveniently on the 3rd floor. The rooms are huge here! The bed which was my favorite part was amazing! The bed was super soft, comfortable and the pillows were also to die for! I had the best sleep ever in this bed! Bathroom is also huge and the shower was absolutely wonderful! Another great aspect of the room were the wooden floors. They are done very nicely and have a lux feel to them.

Stayed at the Hotel RL from 8/5-8/12. While the location was great (downtown and walking distance to the Harbor) I had a couple of issues with disturbance and cleanliness. A couple of nights there was noise from young people hanging out in and around their cars parked on Calvert Street (my room was on the second floor). The hotel security was ineffective in shooing them along so I had to call 911. In regards to cleanliness, the housekeeping staff apparently are allowed to get away with doing the bare minimum. The shower floor was scummy and the shower wall had MOLD. After informing the front desk TWICE and nothing being done, I decided to go to the nearest drugstore and purchase my own cleaning products and cleaned the shower myself. The floors had also not been swept, even when I removed the "do not disturb" sign from the door. The hotel itself is cute and has that "urban boutique hotel" feel, but it could be managed a little better.

This was booked for me for one night. They have Valletta parking.. As I went in I noticed the art work on the ceiling lobby. There is a cfe but it was closed. It may be due to covid restrictions..The hotel rep was to my left. After some required information given, I was handed my key card. The room looked clean. There was a strand of hair and toilet tissue in the toilet, I flushed it.. besides that the bathroom did look clean. The dresser was missing some knobs and the chairs being a little stained the room, was decent.. There was two beds, I'd say they were queens size. Sheets were clean, floors was clean..high ceiling and windows.. Good shades, blocks the light. If I was ro vosit the same Baltimore area, I probably would book again for a short stay like yesterday..

This is their closet/hanging rack for your clothes. I actually thought this worked well and it's a great idea.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel RL! The staff was friendly and courteous upon check-in and there was no wait. The concierge even offered to hold our baggage so we can enjoy the last 30 minutes of their happy hour! The food at the bar was great, we had flatbread pizza and some hot wings. Their happy hour specials were nicely priced and the drinks were delicious. Overall, we will stay at the hotel RL again! Oh, they have a wonderfully comfortable king size bed. There was some street noise but we live in the city so we're kind of used to it. We always bring our waterfall noise reduction app wherever we go on her iPhone.

Disgusting hotel ! I check in my room had no hot or cold water in the shower, the bathroom sink had only cold water I informed the front desk representative She told me she will contact the engineer and will get back to me shortly it was 8pm 1 hour went by nothing and I had my baby with me who needed to take a shower after spending time at the aquarium and to go to bed. It was 9pm and by then it was ridiculous I went downstairs to asked if an engineer is close by She gave me an attitude, telling me I have to be patient! I told her it's unacceptable and I need to shower After much back and forth, I was transferred to another room which was worse The smoke detector was hanging Bug in the bathroom Bedbugs Weed smell in the room I had to keep the ac on to help air out the room I woke up with plenty of bites from bedbugs They ruined my weekend trip to Baltimore My son love the aquarium we came here and I regret booking that hotel now he got bitten by bed bugs I feel like a horrible mom for booking that hotel

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel RL. Upon entering the hotel, you will not see a front desk. It's a little confusing. There are kiosks to check-in and get your card. There is an in-person check-in area that's all the way to the left that is kind of hidden. Kionte (sorry if I misspelled your name) helped me check-in. He was super friendly and helpful. The lobby is very welcoming and chic. Plenty of seating if you just want to chill. On the right side of the lobby, there is a bar/cafe. Free coffee, if you need a pick-me-up. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and comfy. Floors are wooden. The bathroom was huge. I accidentally chose an accessible room so the shower was completely open. There is no bathroom door. 24-hour gym. I didn't use it though. Free wi-fi. Free live entertainment. Check their schedule. The hotel feels safe. You need a keycard to access the floors. The room was a reasonable price for being in the downtown area. Parking: Valet parking is ~$35. If you want to do self-parking, there is a garage behind the hotel for $21. There is street parking, but the maximum time is 4 hours, every day of the week. *Sign up for Hello Rewards, their guest loyalty program and you might be able to save on rooms!

Hotel RL in Baltimore at 207 E Redwood St, Baltimore is a nice new addition to the market. This is a simple concept, boutique, relaxed casual, but classy hotel. The new rooms, new restaurant, new amenities, new, new, new don't hurt as well.  The restaurant and bar features a nice happy hour special.  The same area turns into a breakfast café with espresso bar in the morning. The hotel features valet parking, or self park.  There are several common areas to lose yourself and study or catch up on work.  They even offer free bicycles if you want to ride into Inner Harbor which is literally 2 or three blocks away. Service here too is really on point!  At check in we had the delightful Kionte checking us in.  He's so friendly, so polite, cordial, willing to help with any questions, and fast.  In the restaurant area we had Shay who is just a pleasure.  So nice, so on point with service, friendly, and helpful as well. Everything about Hotel RL in Baltimore at 207 E Redwood Street was just perfect!  Thank you for landing in Baltimore, RL, and all the best on a great new hotel!

This is a chic hotel with spacious rooms. The pictures that I have posted should give you a sense of the size of the room. The bathroom is very large and nicely laid out as well. However, there are some drawbacks too which prevent me from rating it more highly, the biggest being that the attached restaurant is very underwhelming. The first night I was here I had dinner at this restaurant and I got a seriously burnt sandwich that I just couldn't finish. I know that at most hotels, restaurants are an afterthought but the restaurant that's part of this hotel is an afterthought of an afterthought. The second issue was that I did not find a "Do Not Disturb" sign that I could place outside my room. When the housecleaning staff cleaned up the room, they weren't too careful and placed my shoe mitt on the table next to my bed and my vest on top of my luggage. Lastly, I had requested a wake up call on one of the three mornings I was there but I didn't believe I got it. For all of those reasons, I have mixed feelings about the hotel and while I would consider it again in the future, it isn't a slam dunk.

Okay, this hotel was very blah to me. I accidentally reserved an accessible room. So my room was very bare. It literally had just a bed, a chair, small table in the corner, and a huge tv. The room had no mirror outside of the bathroom mirror, and the smoke alarm was literally hanging by a string from the ceiling. The bathroom was super outdated. The accessible bathroom was huge, but bare again. The seat in the shower looked old and dingy, the sink was dirty with water spots and the towels in the bathroom were dirty as well. I called the front desk to see if i can change my room, and was told that i couldn't. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one had the most potential, but was also a huge disappointment. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. It is in the city, which makes it easy to get around downtown by walking. But the hotel was pretty loud at night. All in all, my stay could've been better. It definitely had a younger hipper crowd, which wasn't bad. The bar was closed due to covid, and there really wasn't much else. My room was big and bare. So that's one thing that was good, the room size. The floors were pretty, and the window was big enough to shine lots of light in the morning. But the window was dirty.. lol. So ehhh.. stay at your own risk i guess.

Great find especially for the money!! I booked via online hotel site for under $100. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Sparsely furnished -- not even a desk but I loved it! City loft feel combined with European simplicity. Great location - walk to Inner Harbor. Self check in Kiosks are nice too. Internet is free, easy to connect to and fast. This is a cool spot!

Needed this room in a pinch about an hour before I needed to check in somewhere. I saw this advertised on hotels.com and it seemed like it fit the bill for an affordable one night stay in downtown Baltimore. The lobby is decorated in an eclectic and inviting way so I instantly felt comfortable upon arrival. However, I read previous reviews that mentioned check in being on iPads in the lobby and walked around aimlessly looking for them until I had to ask the bartender and he pointed to what looked like a shelf in the back left corner of the lobby with computers and a woman on the phone. Definitely not the typical check in desk you encounter at hotels. When I approached the woman working she was handling an issue with another customer and I stood around for about 20 minutes before she was able to get me checked in. She finally gave me my keys and started to tell me something about a black box in the elevator and when I didn't understand what she was saying she rudely told me to stop talking and "listen to the words coming out of my mouth" it was one of the rudest interactions I've had with a service worker and it definitely made me knock this place down a star. A little bit later that evening I order food delivery and my driver attempted to bring it up to my room. About 1/2 hr after my driver told me she arrived I still hadn't gotten my food so called down to the desk to see what the issue was. The same worker told me that food deliveries are not allowed up to the room but I could come to the lobby to pick up my order. Um excuse me m'am were you even going to call and tell me my food was waiting?? Her response was "just come and get it" Ugh she was awful and I wish this place would train their staff better. Like others have mentioned the service here SUCKS! It's a shame because the hotel itself is so beautiful. If you don't ever have to talk to any staff here, it's a perfect stay but god forbid you need anything because you won't be happy with how you're treated. This was my first and last time staying here.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

Rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was a crayon on the floor, which gave me pause on the cleanliness, though other than that, the room seemed very clean. There is plenty of storage, but I can always appreciate more hooks. We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). I don't want to go here just for 1 season, I want to go here for Four Seasons!…read more My friend got me a gift card to the Four Seasons for my birthday to use for the amenities- spa, pool, etc. Instead of just using a day pass, I decided to optimize the gift card and do a solo staycation for an early birthday present to myself! I decided to go the weekend right before the pool closed. Yes I procrastinated a lot since I went in September, but luckily the weather was beyond beautiful! It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold! Because of this they extended the pool for one more week, but I'm glad I got to go when I did! I got into Baltimore a little earlier than check-in (2pm) and was hoping for early check-in. While my original room was ready, I had asked for an upgrade and they were able to accommodate me to a room with a balcony completely complimentary! I wish I remembered the concierges' name who helped me, but he was such a kind, sweet man! Honestly all the staff was so sweet, kind and hospitable! Since I got a room upgrade, I had to wait until 4pm. And what other way to wait besides sitting by the pool! They let me keep my luggage by the front desk until my room was ready. So I changed really quickly and made my way to the pool. I was able to get a chair right in front of the pool to be able to soak in the sun. I ordered the - Fed hill fling - 5/5 this cocktail was so yummy! I could just down it, but I decided not to drink too much before my massage! The cocktail names are so cute especially since I lived in Baltimore as well! I had a massage scheduled at 5:30pm and the only downside was that they didn't inform me that was room was ready. I had to check in around 4pm with the hostess at the pool. Luckily I was able to quickly go upstairs, change, and head my way back down to the spa to be able to enjoy the spa for a bit before my massage! My masseuse was thoroughly knowledgeable about everything! She respected what I wanted to get massaged and what I opted out for. The experience was truly relaxing and I was so bummed I didn't have a lot of time to experience the spa. But I wasn't too worried since the spa is open year round, unlike the pool. I made my way back to the pool for the perfect golden hour sunset! This time I was by the hot tub and I seriously did not want to get out! I ordered 2 of the same drinks- The blossom spritz 4/5- I'm coming to realize I'm not really a spritz girl, but it was seriously the perfect night cap. I headed back to my room and decided to order room service instead of heading downstairs to Maximon. I got- Caesar salad 5/5 - this was probably the best dish I ordered Fries 4/5 - your typical fries Mac n cheese 2/5 - I ordered from the kids' menu because I have a small appetite, but I'm not sure if this was Mac n cheese or just buttered noodles. There was no cheese! I also ordered room service for breakfast- Just egg scramble 3/5 - it was okay.. I suggested to add cheese, but I guess they forgot. And I'm not sure why she added a grilled tomato, but it was actually good! Iced coffee 5/5 - okay yeah this coffee hit the spot after the amount of cocktails I had and I definitely needed a jolt so I could survive the day! I really liked that they had all the amenities you need at the pool- cucumber water, umbrellas, sunscreen, etc. Although the sunscreen did leave a white cast on my skin. Overall my experience at the Four Seasons was truly unforgettable that I'm already thinking about visiting again! If it wasn't for my gift card, I probably wouldn't have gone, but I'm so happy I did! Not to mention, Adam Sandler was also staying there and I was able to get a glimpse of him when he walked by the pool!

They don't have a restaurant here but you could go to the Hilton Garden Inn and they have a restaurant that's open from 5 PM to 10 PM. There's a Whole Foods that's five minutes away to grab groceries for your room to be able to cook if you want to cook for yourself here which was nice !

Pros: Location was amazing…read more Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was decent. The view was great. Cons: The rooms are in need of an upgrade. When I first entered the room I noticed it smelled pretty musty. Luckily the windows have a small section that opens. I thought I could open that and air out the room while I went to get dinner. Unfortunately, it didn't help at all. The carpeting and furniture are so gross looking I imagine the smell is coming from that and the window curtains but not really sure. The wallpaper is peeling off but as I was leaving I saw they were peeling it off in the lobby so hopefully they are working on replacing that. Water pressure is okay. If they replaced the carpet and furniture (or at least steam cleaned it) I think that would make a huge difference.

This hotel oozes with historical charm, quirkiness, and the icing on top is the friendly service from every single person I came in contact with. Many hotels these days go the safe route with decor, but at Ulysses you will be treated to velvet tiger print wallpaper, bright embroidered quilts, peacock flocked lounge chairs, beautiful tiling, and pink fringed lamps. The design is truly a love letter to what Baltimore is all about. A few other notes: + I have high standards for sheets and found my bed to be be pristinely clean and comfortable. + They were also able to give me a very generous late checkout time because I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. + Free wi-fi + Live music in the bar + cute daytime cafe space with real lattes

My room was very quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved the canopy - felt like my room when I was a kid! The hotel is in the Mount Vernon area of downtown Baltimore, and there were lots of charming restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I was also easily able to catch and Uber to work-related destinations and the airport, so the location is incredibly convenient. On my final day in town, I had an late flight and the front desk allowed me to leave my luggage there for the afternoon, which was incredibly helpful! As a business traveler, the room did lack some of the amenities I prefer on a busy trip (like an in-room fridge, coffee maker, an in-room desk area, and adequate outlets for charging). While I would most definitely stay at the Ulysses again for leisure trip, I don't know that I would choose this property again for a business trip.

My room was cleaned twice in that 5 day window which was just enough. The common areas were clean. The breakfast offered was good. I stuck to the oatmeal, bagel and coffee. I had the issue with the toilet but then also the refrigerator had an ice machine that kept making ice nonstop and made noise on and off throughout the day. My room Was on the 12th floor but the noise outside from the passing traffic and loiters across the street woke me up and kept me up 3 out of those 5 nights.
