I had a decent experience for my two nights here. The location and view is amazing ---particularly with a corner room. The hotel is on the older side but decent efforts have been made to update the rooms. The lobby is simple, nothing special overall, but there is a restaurant attached. I didn't get to try it but I stopped in to purchase coffee and waters from the grab and go. Everyone I came in contact with during my stay was pleasant Grows: -I would have liked access to bottled water in the room upon arrival. - Valet area was a bit crowded and difficult to navigate, but they moved quickly and everyone was friendly

Great location in Baltimore to explore a slightly different side of the city vs the main part of the Inner Harbor. I was able to enjoy lots of restaurants in the area that were off the beaten path of the harbor given the hotel's location. There is also upscale shopping available. The hotel's meeting rooms are in a bit confusing of a layout, so check the maps before you try to find them. They have main restaurant on the first floor that also serves to-go items and coffee in the AM.

Not a bad value proposition. The restaurant onsite is surprisingly good. Shoutout to Carlos on the omelet station serving up magical dishes. While the area isn't busy as it once eas several years ago, you're literally ans figuratively in steps of the movie theater, grocery shopping, amazing dining as well as shopping for clothing and niche or designer fragrances. The staff onsite is always phenomenal and the views of the waterfront are refreshing. Give this place a try when you're in the area. Additionally and while I'm not a fan of buffets - their breakfast buffet is HIGHLY underrated. HIGHLY.

I recently stayed here for a work conference being hosted at the hotel. I had a great experience. My room was very nice with stunning views overlooking the waterfront. The staff were very attentive. I would definitely stay here again and the location is the best in the city for activities at night.

Excellent stay! I was attending a few events in the area and chose this hotel for my overnight stay! I would stay again. The reviews weren't the best when I initially looked at options, but honestly I don't have anything bad to say about this place. Checking in went smoothly. I made the reservation a few weeks ago. Since there was a Ravens home game, the hotel was completely out! I had requested a high floor. I got my wish! I was on the 24th floor and I loved the views of the city. The room was very clean and big. The bathroom was a good size. They didn't have any water in the room but was able to get some from the front desk! Everyone here was very friendly and professional. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member and I like racking up the points. There's valet parking available. There's a nearby garage as well. I lucked out and found street parking! I stopped in at the hotel restaurant/bar, Apropoe's. Had a great time there! Ask for Dion. Thank you!

I was in town for the Yankees game and a friend suggested that I stay at the Marriott Waterfront. I reserved the room at the last minute on a Saturday. I found the price to be high, but on par for the area given that I reserved it on a weekend without notice. Midweek stays were fair to low in price. If I had reserved the room with advance notice it would have been half the price. The room was great and had a lovely view. It is definitely worth the upgrade for a waterfront view. We were not on a high floor and still had a great view. The bed was extremely comfortable. I slept very well and didn't want to get up the next morning. The onsite restaurant was surprisingly good and has a nice variety. The onsite gym was better than expected and provided a nice assortment of machines. I found the hotel to be modern and luxurious. I would have given it 5 stars, but for a few hiccups. The bathroom looked clean, but there were several long strands of hair in the shower. There was initially only one representative checking in guests, and I waited in line about 25 minutes to check in. I paid for the free breakfast upgrade upon booking and it was not applied. It was a significant annoyance to return to the front desk and deal with. I only stayed overnight and spent too much of my time at the front desk instead of enjoying the lovely hotel. Despite these issues I would still highly recommend this hotel and would likely stay again.

Attended a conference- spending a total of 3 nights. Hotel had beautiful views, was extremely clean and had excellent (helpful & kind) staff from the front desk to the property's housekeeper. The hotel lobby was under construction with some scaffolding but there were no issues and it was not disruptive to my stay. Room was spacious, had a mini fridge and coffee maker. No microwave oven. Plenty of eating and shopping surrounding the hotel with a Whole Foods and. CVS within walking distance for any snack/food.

I chaperoned a high school prom so I am only rating it based on the ballroom and event services. The only bad thing I experienced was the parking situation. There were multiple large scale events at the hotel so there was not nearly enough parking available. On top of that it was between 10-17 dollars to park for the duration of the event. The ballrooms they had the prom in were beautiful. Large and spacious with wonderful views of downtown. Baltimore. The staff did a great job with the set up and to keep the buffet style appetizers fully stocked with fresh food. Definitely a nice venue to hold an event at. I was not involved in the event planning so I don't know what the rates are but assume it would be expensive due to the quality of the venue and the prime location.

Hotels are usually middle of the road, never terrible or excellent. I would say the Marriott Water front is upper-middle when compared to others in its class. The front desk service was pretty great. I was checked in by a very personable guy who quickly gave me everything I needed along with some good information. I had a single King room, and my window looked out over the city, but the first 75 feet of the view was the graveled roof, so all I could see was the upper portions of some of the taller buildings. No big deal for me as I am not there to live in the room. The bed and pillows were a bit soft for me, but everything was clean. I woke up with a slight neck issue that was fairly easy to deal with. The water was instantly and scaldingly hot, as is the norm for hotels. Some features: a 24hr inside gym on the 5th floor, single-serve coffee brewer with 2 coffees, 2 teas, and the necessary accessories, an in-room mini-fridge, alarm clock, and smart TV. I was there for a conference that was hosted in the hotel, and so I can speak to the service staff for that as well. We had food and drinks every few hours for the course of the conference. There were plenty of staff around, and the food was pretty good and consisted of everything from continental breakfast type items (bagels, muffins, scones, etc) to buffet meals (tacos, soups, salads, fish, barbeque, etc), and small desserts. One that stood out was a tres leches cake (wow)... how many leches? (tres). They had glass-front refrigerators with drink as well as plenty of coffee, iced tea, and water. The general, large restrooms were pretty clean. Towards the end of the day, the disposable hand-towels ran out and the trash had built up. As far as what is nearby in Baltimore... well everything is nearby. Lots of great restaurants, the water front, museums, etc. I'd gladly stay at this hotel again for sure.

He was engaging, charismatic, and clearly knew the property and its history inside and out. That kind of welcome makes a difference. We were in Suite 18, which sits in a separate tower connected to the spa. The room itself was well appointed. You can tell nothing in there was inexpensive, and everything was fresh and well maintained, no wear, no chipped paint, nothing neglected. If I'm being honest, some of styling is starting to feel a touch dated in places, but that's a matter of taste more than quality. One note, and to be totally fair it was an unbelievably hot day: when we returned from dinner the room was in the mid to high 70s, and it took about an hour and a half to cool down. The staff explained we needed to lower the thermostat in 2-degree increments rather than setting it straight to our target, and they were right, it worked. Still, that's a bit of a workaround at this price point. A lovely property with genuinely gracious service. We'd stay again.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. Rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was a crayon on the floor, which gave me pause on the cleanliness, though other than that, the room seemed very clean. There is plenty of storage, but I can always appreciate more hooks. We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). Overall, I do think this is an excellent hotel and I am definitely looking forward to returning, though I will absolutely be dining and drinking elsewhere.

A dull menu is a disappointment, but an undercooked entree is a safety hazard. During our visit, a…read morebasic chicken dish arrived at our table visually underdone and noticeably pink near the bone--a fundamental kitchen error that instantly shatters any illusion of five-star luxury. It is one thing for a luxury menu to be safe and uninspired; it is another entirely when the kitchen completely fails to execute the basics. From uneven cooking temperatures to a general lack of seasoning discipline, the line feels entirely unmonitored. At a property of this tier, diners expect precision. Instead, the plates suggest a kitchen completely on autopilot, mailing in basic preparations that would be unacceptable at a standard neighborhood pub, let alone a five-star harbor terrace. The glaring gap here isn't just the lack of a 'wow' factor--it's the absence of foundational execution. When a premium-priced kitchen stumbles on simple techniques, the luxury facade completely crumbles. For a high-tier property like the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, missing the mark on foundational kitchen skills is the ultimate sin. The marketing promises an ultra-luxury experience--such as Chef Mackenson Horebe's Summer Cookout Dinner Series--but if basic line-cook items are being botched, the kitchen is simply coasting on the hotel's five-star reputation. While a boring menu is disappointing, an unsafe plate is unacceptable. It proves that the kitchen lacks basic supervision or expediting discipline. A chef actively managing their kitchen does not let raw poultry pass the pass. At these steep price points, you are paying for absolute culinary precision. Instead, the kitchen line seem to be operating with zero oversight. Sending out undercooked poultry isn't just a sign of a kitchen mailing it in; it's a failure of basic execution that should never occur in a premium establishment, let alone a global luxury brand. The glaring gap between the property's glamorous marketing and its actual execution became painfully obvious when a companion's chicken dish arrived dangerously undercooked. It turns out the menu isn't just 'vanilla'--the kitchen staff can't even be bothered to execute the absolute basics of safe temperature control. A luxury dining room should never operate on autopilot. From the uninspired flavor profiles to catastrophic technical errors like undercooked chicken, the hotel's culinary team is coasting entirely on the brand's name. Save your money and explore Baltimore's actual, vibrant food scene elsewhere--this one is a passive, corporate disappointment.
