I stayed here because it got good reviews. The front desk clerk who checked me in was nice. The rooms are on the smaller side. There was a dog across the hall from me that barked constantly and woke me up from sleep. The hotel is very noisy. My shower was stocked only with body lotion. I called the front desk half wet and showered to get shampoo but no one answered the phone. I walked down there soggy wet and the desk attendant was playing on his cell phone. He did get me shampoo but did not apologize for the inconvenience of having to go downstairs mid shower to fetch shampoo. Could not get the printer to work in the business center. Parking was free. It was fairly clean but definitely not the cleanest place ever. Maybe stay again for one night only

Loved our stay here. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located right off the highway, this is a cozy and quiet hotel where you can feel fully rested. All the furnishings around the premises and in the rooms looked brand new and spotless, so we really appreciated that. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are brand new--everything is sparkling white (and clean). You can lounge in the specially allocated lounge area, that has TVs and tea/coffee 24/7. In the mornings, 6am-10am, you can enjoy complementary breakfast. Breakfast items include: hot oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, breakfast pastry, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, home-made breakfast potatoes, and waffles. A waffle maker is available, so you can make your own fresh waffles and top them off with blueberries, chocolate chips, and syrups. If you forgot your personal care items like a toothbrush or a comb, you can complementary items by the front desk. Very convenient! Pool works 9am-10pm daily. The pool is tiny and very warm. Mornings and afternoons, it's filled with kids, so it's super loud and crowded. Come here in the evening, right before closing time, to enjoy the quiet. You will be promptly kicked out by the cleaning staff at 10pm.

We have stayed at many different Hampton Inn's and we would not recommend staying at this one. First night there I was laying in the bed, got up and noticed something crawling on the pillow. Sure enough, it was a bed bug. Front desk apologized and moved us to a different room. He also stated we would be compensated with reward points due to this. I used to work in property management so I know that bed bugs can spread like wildfire and they are absolutely not something to mess around with! Front desk asked the manager for us about washing/drying our clothes. She told us that the manager said we would be reimbursed "through their insurance". I figured it was a lie as I've never heard such a thing. Never were we contacted by the actual manager regarding the situation and never were we refunded either. Pretty crazy considering that was the least that could be done to ensure we don't 1. Spread anything into the new hotel room we were put in and 2. Bring them home with us. We paid over $30 in just laundry to make sure our items were clean after that. We ended up throwing away our suitcase, 2 blankets and our 2 expensive dog beds for our dogs to be on the safe side since our items were in that bed bug room for hours. I'm pretty sure most other hotels would've atleast refunded us for the laundry we had to do. Oh and as for us getting compensated for bed bugs in our room... we were given 8,000 points. Is it better than nothing? Sure. But that's a pretty laughable amount to give for such an issue especially considering us spending our own money to wash everything and throwing out expensive items... not to mention how paranoid we were the entire time we stayed the rest of the time. It was also around 2-3am when this happened and we didn't get to bed until 5am. I literally could not sleep most nights because of being so paranoid and scared that the new room had bed bugs too or that our stuff now had them. The rooms are also not cleaned thoroughly. In both rooms we were in behind the beds there was tons of trash, dirt and food. We were here to get our dog's cancer treated at Johns Hopkins and this added to our already emotional and stressful situation. Honestly, do yourself a favor and listen to the negative reviews. We wouldn't ever book here again.

The hotel met all my expectations. It was at a convenient location to be able to reach all the places I wanted to visit. The hot breakfast was excellent, on both days we were there they had eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, toast and muffins. Everything was super clean and the breakfast staff was excellent. The kids enjoyed going to the pool after a long day of visiting various locations in Baltimore. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable; the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. The one thing which I was extremely pleased with was the ability to plug in my EV (Electric Vehicle)into free charging--What a plus! I loved it and would definitely stay again if we visit the area.

No major issues with my accommodations. I stayed hear a year ago and since I was back in the area and the location was convenient I came back. My only complaint is the smell of smoke in my room. I believe this issue was a result of me being on the first floor down the hall from a side entrance probably used as a smoking area. If I stay here again I will definitely request to be on a higher floor. The staff was nice and breakfast was what I expected from this chain.

Drawing lines in the dust of the TV stand. The TV was pretty dusty as well. The other surfaces seemed clean - which was weird.

We were in Baltimore for a long weekend, and decided to stay here based on price, room size, and proximity to the Inner Harbor and other neighborhoods. Free parking and free breakfast was also a factor, but the free breakfast wasn't exactly worth the price (free). So the room was really nice. Beds were comfy, plenty of pillows, bathroom was nice, shower was great and it was mostly wonderful. The four stars are just for the room. Just a couple of small issues. First - the room was clean - except for the the TV. It seems the base of the TV hadn't been dusted in a while. I was able to write in the dust, and will attach a pic or video. The bathroom sink - the faucet was not made to be at an angle since the length of the faucet was too short to allow you to comfortably wash your hands without hitting the sink. (They did the angle to allow more room for the sink, but they should have replaced the faucet.) They would have received 1 star for breakfast. Since we kind of knew that a full breakfast meant everything was going to be frozen and re-heated, we didn't expect much. However, the re-heating didn't work very well since the steam trays didn't have hot water in them or burners under them to keep things warm. Everything was pretty much ice cold if you didn't happen to get something that just came out of the "kitchen". Also - the first two mornings, with the hotel completely booked - was a disaster. They couldn't keep up with anything. Coffee ran out, forks ran out, eggs ran out, syrup ran out - and asking for anything was a waste since the one poor woman doing everything was simply unable to keep up. She appeared to have a helper, who I noticed spent time making his OWN coffee in the back, before trying to help replenish things for the guests. Thankfully, there is a wonderful diner just around the corner - and breakfast on our last morning was an extra expense, but absolutely worth it. If it is in your budget, skip the crappy hotel breakfast and treat yourself to something wonderful. We'd absolutely stay here again, but we will take into consideration that there is really NO edible breakfast, and plan on the added expense of the diner.

He was engaging, charismatic, and clearly knew the property and its history inside and out. That kind of welcome makes a difference. We were in Suite 18, which sits in a separate tower connected to the spa. The room itself was well appointed. You can tell nothing in there was inexpensive, and everything was fresh and well maintained, no wear, no chipped paint, nothing neglected. If I'm being honest, some of styling is starting to feel a touch dated in places, but that's a matter of taste more than quality. One note, and to be totally fair it was an unbelievably hot day: when we returned from dinner the room was in the mid to high 70s, and it took about an hour and a half to cool down. The staff explained we needed to lower the thermostat in 2-degree increments rather than setting it straight to our target, and they were right, it worked. Still, that's a bit of a workaround at this price point. A lovely property with genuinely gracious service. We'd stay again.

The soaking tub was deep enough to swim in. The spa gifted me with a bath bomb which made for a truly relaxing soak session. I will most definitely be returning.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

Rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was a crayon on the floor, which gave me pause on the cleanliness, though other than that, the room seemed very clean. There is plenty of storage, but I can always appreciate more hooks. We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). Overall, I do think this is an excellent hotel and I am definitely looking forward to returning, though I will absolutely be dining and drinking elsewhere.

A dull menu is a disappointment, but an undercooked entree is a safety hazard. During our visit, a…read morebasic chicken dish arrived at our table visually underdone and noticeably pink near the bone--a fundamental kitchen error that instantly shatters any illusion of five-star luxury. It is one thing for a luxury menu to be safe and uninspired; it is another entirely when the kitchen completely fails to execute the basics. From uneven cooking temperatures to a general lack of seasoning discipline, the line feels entirely unmonitored. At a property of this tier, diners expect precision. Instead, the plates suggest a kitchen completely on autopilot, mailing in basic preparations that would be unacceptable at a standard neighborhood pub, let alone a five-star harbor terrace. The glaring gap here isn't just the lack of a 'wow' factor--it's the absence of foundational execution. When a premium-priced kitchen stumbles on simple techniques, the luxury facade completely crumbles. For a high-tier property like the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, missing the mark on foundational kitchen skills is the ultimate sin. The marketing promises an ultra-luxury experience--such as Chef Mackenson Horebe's Summer Cookout Dinner Series--but if basic line-cook items are being botched, the kitchen is simply coasting on the hotel's five-star reputation. While a boring menu is disappointing, an unsafe plate is unacceptable. It proves that the kitchen lacks basic supervision or expediting discipline. A chef actively managing their kitchen does not let raw poultry pass the pass. At these steep price points, you are paying for absolute culinary precision. Instead, the kitchen line seem to be operating with zero oversight. Sending out undercooked poultry isn't just a sign of a kitchen mailing it in; it's a failure of basic execution that should never occur in a premium establishment, let alone a global luxury brand. The glaring gap between the property's glamorous marketing and its actual execution became painfully obvious when a companion's chicken dish arrived dangerously undercooked. It turns out the menu isn't just 'vanilla'--the kitchen staff can't even be bothered to execute the absolute basics of safe temperature control. A luxury dining room should never operate on autopilot. From the uninspired flavor profiles to catastrophic technical errors like undercooked chicken, the hotel's culinary team is coasting entirely on the brand's name. Save your money and explore Baltimore's actual, vibrant food scene elsewhere--this one is a passive, corporate disappointment.
