I experienced a wonderfully relaxing stay at Hotel Indigo in downtown Baltimore. This wasn't too far of a ride from the airport in Baltimore and the scenery made it even better. Check-in was simple and quick so I got to my room pretty fast. Instead in a suite on the 7th floor. Entering my room, I was taken away with the smell of luxury the filled the room. The large windows and beautiful window treatments provided views that immediately made me feel special. The trim was big with somewhat of a hallway. The bed was oh so comfy and let's talk about the bathroom..... the bathroom was lit with somewhat special lighting in the mirror that made it clear and slightly dim. The shower was big, clean, and luxurious. I loved the shower handle that can be taken off of the mount and sprayed like a hose. And the Zenology body wash and body balm was the star of the stay! I've been looking ever for the Ficus Sycamorus scent and cannot find!!! I regret daily that I didn't pack it in my bag to take home! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful when asked for recommendations and directions around the city. The grab and go was most helpful when I got in late and needed a snack. If you're planning a stay in Baltimore and want to feel pampered, Hotel Indigo is it!

Solid hotel option in downtown Baltimore, especially for the price! It isn't a huge spot, but it definitely feels welcoming. Cool decor and extremely friendly and accommodating staff made this stay enjoyable. I had the pleasure to experience a Premium Corner Suite King room due to my status with IHG and was quite pleased... clean, modern, and MOST importantly- hot water shower! I can not stress the importance of plentiful, hot water flowing down in the shower. If anyone who travels and spends time in hotels you know what I mean. This was the icing on the cake. The caveat to the icing on the cake... Thanks to Yelp, when checking in here you get a free parking pass! And even better, then parking garage is right across the street. So, the location, the atmosphere, the staff, and the hot water will keep me coming back.

Ended up staying at Hotel Indigo due to issues at another hotel. This hotel offers a beautiful design, from the downstairs area to the hotel rooms. The staff were very friendly at the front desk and the waitress in the restaurant/bar area was amazing. The waitress provided great recommendations and we made sure to visit her on the nights we could at the bar. We were pretty bummed on our last night that we received a message about the restaurant/bar area closing early due to private events. Hotel is located downtown with no valet so you have to park your car yourself in the parking garage across the street. The parking garage closes at 10 pm during the week which can be a little inconvenient. I experienced a small inconvenience when I checked in, I was given a very small room that did not provide space to move freely (we were literally having slide by each other) or a desk area to work remotely. I informed the staff and they switched my room the next morning. Overall a beautiful place with polite staff.

My first time in Baltimore! Beautiful hotel with the best staff! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the bartenders were amazing! They hosted my friend's wedding welcome party and brunch send-off (as well as the room block). Excellent service, spacious rooms, and affordable prices. Can't beat the $5 parking across the street! Lots of restaurants and sight seeing nearby!

The bar! (Papers from a nearby 7-11).

As with all of the IHG Indigo hotels we have used, this one, too, is a gem. Wonderfully friendly service, clean rooms, stylish (and good) restaurant/bar in the lobby, and a decent work-out space. The location in historic Mount Vernon is also outstanding. You're near arena, stadia, and loads of attractions. {The bar is playing Duran Duran now on the sound system. Nice.} One very important note for travelers with cars: they do not do valet parking, and the pull-up area out front is tiny and often occupied by delivery trucks. Right on their website they say to park in the garage across the street, get a plastic token for payment, and bring that to the desk so they can assist when you check out. This is not a casual observation. You have to do it this way. If I had only followed the directions, I would have saved myself a circuit of the neighborhood on one way streets. Live and learn. Now, good traveler, here is some other info to chew on: this location is in the middle of a large, American city. So take note: there are renovated areas and areas that need some help, like all great cities. A fairly significant number of people sleeping rough on the street, some with apparent substance abuse issues and mental health concerns, are across the street near to the garage I described above. This should not dissuade you from staying at this charming place, but as with all cities in modern America, be aware of your surroundings, secure your valuables, and don't be a goof. Stay here; play here.

This was a fantastic hotel for a quick work trip and I absolutely would return. The area was very walkable and the theme was really fun. Rooms are large and spacious with a decent restaurant in the lobby. I arrived late and was still able to check in no hassle, the hotel stayed pretty quite. I believe when I was there, a wedding party was also staying but that was only a bit of an inconvenience when I tried to check out at the same time as a good amount of the individuals from the party did. Staff was happy to hold my bags while I explored the city a little. Really no complaints and the bed was very comfortable.

Attended a meet and greet here for South Carolinians and this hotel was quite quaint nice full bar friendly and helpful staff. Bar area was nice and clean with a good variety of adult beverages, library spacious and neat just what we needed I didn't stay here just utilized the Amazon space for a meet and greet.

As it comes to an end at checking out (checked in Saturday early morning 4am- checked out Sunday morning). The location was good overall. The hotel has a lot of upgrade. The dining area looks super. The room was clean and updated which are all plus; the view of the city was also a nice touch. The only thing that I would say can change is the night front desk host. She was rude & unfriendly. There's always room for improvement!

Loved the location! Close to so many awesome restaurants and walking district to museums and great local treasures but you can definitely find better service at another hotel close by. Booked a two level suite for my sisters and I to enjoy a girls night and had a very poor experience. Restaurant food was delicious but the restaurant was totally understaffed so everything took forever and our waiter was very nice and I felt bad that he constantly apologized and explained that the restaurant was short staffed. Check in was interesting as well. There were two folks at the counter for check in. A woman who was helping someone and there was also a person behind her and in front of me. There was a guy at the counter in front of his own register but he never acknowledged us or offered to help so now there were four of us in line while he just acted like we were invisible and the woman was really slow and dealing with an upset guest who was there on a business trip and didn't have the card his company used to book the hotel. It was disappointing to see that the guy didn't even care that we had to listef to that as guests. He eventually walked off while the line was growing. Our suite was on the first floor and sadly we heard the door opening and closing all night and when we went to ask for linen since the pull out "doesn't come dressed if you don't request it" we were treated beyond poorly by Kim who was rude and told us we should have requested linen at check in. Interesting that if you book a suite with one bed and a pull out and advise how many people ... the hotel doesn't think they should dress the pull out sofa or at minimum ask at check in if you would like linen. We were treated very rude. It took over an hour for linen to show up. I asked for the card and name of the manager. His name is Eric. I called Eric that night, left a message. Called the following day and sent an email. No response. Definitely Do Not Recommend. As an IHG member, I have never been so disappointed and will not stay here again. I was really excited to stay here and hate that I landed at 2 stars. Sorry folks. It was not the best.

Thank you for the bones guys!!

We booked a reservation for 4 nights and chose to pay the premium price for this hotel due to the beautiful restaurant onsite and the location. We were excited for our stay. When we arrived we learned they were under construction. There was no food onsite for the duration of our stay - which was 1) not communicated ahead of the stay and 2) very inconvenient for my husband who was working all day from the hotel and would have preferred to take short lunch breaks at the onsite restaurant. This was half the reason for us booking. If that was the extent of it, I would've chalked it up as just bad communication and taken the loss. However, When we arrived they were actively painting the ceiling by the elevators and in order to reach our room, we had to step on the drop cloth covered in paint and navigate past the men on ladders. I got paint on my shoes and paint dripped on my arm on the way to elevator. We stayed on floor 10 and the entire floor had been recently painted and the walls were lined with plastic. I'm pregnant and the paint fumes were overwhelming and gave me a headache to the point where I ended up staying with a friend locally while my husband stayed at our hotel. The banging went on night and day and it made his working experience very tough as well. This absolutely should have been communicated as this environment was dangerous for a pregnant woman and just very uncomfortable for folks in general. I'm really disappointed in Hilton and I would never recommend this hotel to a friend due to the high price and terrible communication and unwillingness to shut down for renovations and instead inconvenience your guests.

It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

Rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was a crayon on the floor, which gave me pause on the cleanliness, though other than that, the room seemed very clean. There is plenty of storage, but I can always appreciate more hooks. We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). I don't want to go here just for 1 season, I want to go here for Four Seasons!…read more My friend got me a gift card to the Four Seasons for my birthday to use for the amenities- spa, pool, etc. Instead of just using a day pass, I decided to optimize the gift card and do a solo staycation for an early birthday present to myself! I decided to go the weekend right before the pool closed. Yes I procrastinated a lot since I went in September, but luckily the weather was beyond beautiful! It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold! Because of this they extended the pool for one more week, but I'm glad I got to go when I did! I got into Baltimore a little earlier than check-in (2pm) and was hoping for early check-in. While my original room was ready, I had asked for an upgrade and they were able to accommodate me to a room with a balcony completely complimentary! I wish I remembered the concierges' name who helped me, but he was such a kind, sweet man! Honestly all the staff was so sweet, kind and hospitable! Since I got a room upgrade, I had to wait until 4pm. And what other way to wait besides sitting by the pool! They let me keep my luggage by the front desk until my room was ready. So I changed really quickly and made my way to the pool. I was able to get a chair right in front of the pool to be able to soak in the sun. I ordered the - Fed hill fling - 5/5 this cocktail was so yummy! I could just down it, but I decided not to drink too much before my massage! The cocktail names are so cute especially since I lived in Baltimore as well! I had a massage scheduled at 5:30pm and the only downside was that they didn't inform me that was room was ready. I had to check in around 4pm with the hostess at the pool. Luckily I was able to quickly go upstairs, change, and head my way back down to the spa to be able to enjoy the spa for a bit before my massage! My masseuse was thoroughly knowledgeable about everything! She respected what I wanted to get massaged and what I opted out for. The experience was truly relaxing and I was so bummed I didn't have a lot of time to experience the spa. But I wasn't too worried since the spa is open year round, unlike the pool. I made my way back to the pool for the perfect golden hour sunset! This time I was by the hot tub and I seriously did not want to get out! I ordered 2 of the same drinks- The blossom spritz 4/5- I'm coming to realize I'm not really a spritz girl, but it was seriously the perfect night cap. I headed back to my room and decided to order room service instead of heading downstairs to Maximon. I got- Caesar salad 5/5 - this was probably the best dish I ordered Fries 4/5 - your typical fries Mac n cheese 2/5 - I ordered from the kids' menu because I have a small appetite, but I'm not sure if this was Mac n cheese or just buttered noodles. There was no cheese! I also ordered room service for breakfast- Just egg scramble 3/5 - it was okay.. I suggested to add cheese, but I guess they forgot. And I'm not sure why she added a grilled tomato, but it was actually good! Iced coffee 5/5 - okay yeah this coffee hit the spot after the amount of cocktails I had and I definitely needed a jolt so I could survive the day! I really liked that they had all the amenities you need at the pool- cucumber water, umbrellas, sunscreen, etc. Although the sunscreen did leave a white cast on my skin. Overall my experience at the Four Seasons was truly unforgettable that I'm already thinking about visiting again! If it wasn't for my gift card, I probably wouldn't have gone, but I'm so happy I did! Not to mention, Adam Sandler was also staying there and I was able to get a glimpse of him when he walked by the pool!

They don't have a restaurant here but you could go to the Hilton Garden Inn and they have a restaurant that's open from 5 PM to 10 PM. There's a Whole Foods that's five minutes away to grab groceries for your room to be able to cook if you want to cook for yourself here which was nice !

Pros: Location was amazing…read more Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was decent. The view was great. Cons: The rooms are in need of an upgrade. When I first entered the room I noticed it smelled pretty musty. Luckily the windows have a small section that opens. I thought I could open that and air out the room while I went to get dinner. Unfortunately, it didn't help at all. The carpeting and furniture are so gross looking I imagine the smell is coming from that and the window curtains but not really sure. The wallpaper is peeling off but as I was leaving I saw they were peeling it off in the lobby so hopefully they are working on replacing that. Water pressure is okay. If they replaced the carpet and furniture (or at least steam cleaned it) I think that would make a huge difference.

This hotel oozes with historical charm, quirkiness, and the icing on top is the friendly service from every single person I came in contact with. Many hotels these days go the safe route with decor, but at Ulysses you will be treated to velvet tiger print wallpaper, bright embroidered quilts, peacock flocked lounge chairs, beautiful tiling, and pink fringed lamps. The design is truly a love letter to what Baltimore is all about. A few other notes: + I have high standards for sheets and found my bed to be be pristinely clean and comfortable. + They were also able to give me a very generous late checkout time because I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. + Free wi-fi + Live music in the bar + cute daytime cafe space with real lattes

My room was very quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved the canopy - felt like my room when I was a kid! The hotel is in the Mount Vernon area of downtown Baltimore, and there were lots of charming restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I was also easily able to catch and Uber to work-related destinations and the airport, so the location is incredibly convenient. On my final day in town, I had an late flight and the front desk allowed me to leave my luggage there for the afternoon, which was incredibly helpful! As a business traveler, the room did lack some of the amenities I prefer on a busy trip (like an in-room fridge, coffee maker, an in-room desk area, and adequate outlets for charging). While I would most definitely stay at the Ulysses again for leisure trip, I don't know that I would choose this property again for a business trip.

My room was cleaned twice in that 5 day window which was just enough. The common areas were clean. The breakfast offered was good. I stuck to the oatmeal, bagel and coffee. I had the issue with the toilet but then also the refrigerator had an ice machine that kept making ice nonstop and made noise on and off throughout the day. My room Was on the 12th floor but the noise outside from the passing traffic and loiters across the street woke me up and kept me up 3 out of those 5 nights. The bed was comfortable and the room was good. The hotel was nice but it's just the noise outside that was the biggest issue.
