Fantastic location with easy access to both downtown and Fells Point. What really stood out was the welcoming staff--I was greeted with genuine smiles and friendly 'good mornings' at both reception and breakfast. The complimentary breakfast is a huge plus, and I love that they offer a two-hour happy hour special for guests.

We had a lovely one-night stay at this Hyatt Place. I'll be honest, I'm a Hyatt girlie and former Globalist and have NEVER been impressed by Hyatt Place ... until this visit. Everything was pretty awesome from start to finish. We were able to check in early for $20. Not bad at all. We opted for valet parking, which was $35 a night with in/out privileges. There are def lots around for cheaper, but we just went with ease. Check-in was easy and mostly done via phone. Even got a digital key. Service was great. Everyone I interacted with was very kind and accommodating. What I lived and appreciated most was being selected as "guest of the day!" We had such a nice note and complimentary snack upon arrival and it was just a sweet gesture. Room was super clean! I am a bed bug checker and I can tell you things were in great shape. Floors were clean, too! Breakfast: free! Spread was basic but got the job done! It included: eggs, waffles, bacon, tortillas, cereal options, milk options (one plant-based), fruit, yogurt, bagels and bread. Juice and water, too. One dislike: the pool situation. Not great. You have to make reservations, which I liked but others are allowed to reserve at the same time. The pool is TINY and over-chlorinated. And, unfortunately, there were times it was QUITE busy. I couldn't even get in with my kid. There also were no towels and I texted the hotel to request but it took 30 minutes. I get, though, the hotel seemed busy. Overall, a really good experience. Would highly recommend for families. Also, there's a little of everything nearby. Great location.

Absolute worst Hyatt I have ever stayed in. And I've been a member of the Hyatt club for longer than I can remember. It's blocks from the harbor. Shouldn't be called inner harbor. Should be called just Baltimore. The pool is just a large bath tub. You have to be lucky enough to reserve time for. And forget about towels. I've been waiting all day for towels for my room and the pool. Had to drip dry in the lobby and still no towels. The "fitness center" is a closet with a tread mill. Do not stay here. A motel six still trying to get the smell of dead body would be preferred because at least you know what you are getting. Hyatt should revoke the franchise license

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place Baltimore Inner Harbor. I had an event at another hotel nearby, and I knew I didn't want to drive home afterward. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very professional and helpful. There are many food options available within walking distance. The hotel offers valet parking for I think $30 a night, but if you don't plan to use your car, consider using the grassland garage located behind the hotel for a more affordable option.

Terrible hotel, great front desk service by Brea- Our a/c didnt work, (August) of course there is no maintenance attendant after hours, the clerk was going to bring us a fan, but looked for an hour and called to tell us they couldn't find one. (1 am now) It went up to 82* in our room, and we can't open any windows, they are sealed. BUT, maintenance guy knocks on our door at 8:30 SUNDAY morning to check the a/c- the cleaning lady knocks at 9:30 am SUNDAY to ASK if we are checking out today! WTF? Our friends room had stained carpets, couches and torn bedding. Gross. I tt Brea at the front desk and received a discount- it didnt fix anything, but she was genuinely a nice lady and helped ease the sting. Not planning to stay here in the future.

Nice hotel. Great location. The pool is very small and you must reserve a time slot. The bar in the lobby I fully stocked. They offer happy hour. The staff is friendly and helpful. We returned from a night out and asked for food recommendations. The young lady at the checking counter gave us several recommendations. We ended up going to one and when we returned we gave her menus because she didn't have any to share with guest. The recommendation was great the food there was hot, fresh and limitless options.

Blood (poop?) on blanket ? lol

Honestly never written a review for a hotel stay but I had to for this one. Disgusting and stained/ ripped couch. Pillows are years old with cotton clumps at all 4. Blood stains all over blankets and bed. Worse Hyatt I have ever stayed. Water pressure in the shower is also is non existent.

We booked the 2 Queens with sofa bed and it was very spacious! I really liked how new and modern the rooms were decorated. Bathroom was huge! I loved the two options for lighting with the bathroom mirror. However, some things were broken and it was not very clean.. Bed frame, nightstand, desks were dusty. Bathroom door lock wouldn't lock correctly half of the time. Sink faucet was broken. Super thin walls, we could hear our neighbors throughout the night. Bathroom was definitely not soundproof because you could also hear everything. The closet had a weird moldy smell which the smell transferred to our clothes as well. One of the flattest pillows I've ever slept on :/ If you decide to use the fridge, make sure your flick the on switch and adjust the temperature or else it won't keep your food cold. They serve free breakfast like hot food (bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes), bagel, cereal, fruits (don't recommend, tasted old and soaked in pineapple juice), coffee, etc. There's also other restaurants nearby like Dunkin' Donuts. The rooms do not come with a microwave but there is one where breakfast is served. The water they serve tasted like hose water so I recommend getting water from the dispenser in the gym instead. Valet is too expensive at around $35/ night. I recommend parking in the Fleet and Eden garage which is right behind the hotel for more affordable parking ($5 on weekends!). Great location and close walking distance to the Harbor waterfront and Fell's Point. Overall, friendly customer service and safe area. The downside with customer service is they're not very clear on the pricing with early check-in/ late check-out and overcharged us a little more than we had previously discussed online.

Had a great stay here to see the Yankees play at Camden yards. When I arrived it was packed with Yankee fans and fully booked. The front desk told me my room wasn't ready because they were short staffed which was a bummer but understandable. Overall the room was clean, comfortable with a great view which you could see the Harbor from. Walking distance to Camden Yards, inner harbor and some great food in Little Italy a block or two away. Did stop to see the pool and fitness area which are both pretty small, also has a lounge courtyard area for nice days outside. Will be back if I'm in town again!

Location, common areas, and service are great! Unfortunately, the guest rooms are in need of refurbishing and renovation. Rooms seem clean, but are very worn. The employees are all amazing and very friendly, which is one reason we returned, but most likely will choose another place on our next visit.

He was engaging, charismatic, and clearly knew the property and its history inside and out. That kind of welcome makes a difference. We were in Suite 18, which sits in a separate tower connected to the spa. The room itself was well appointed. You can tell nothing in there was inexpensive, and everything was fresh and well maintained, no wear, no chipped paint, nothing neglected. If I'm being honest, some of styling is starting to feel a touch dated in places, but that's a matter of taste more than quality. One note, and to be totally fair it was an unbelievably hot day: when we returned from dinner the room was in the mid to high 70s, and it took about an hour and a half to cool down. The staff explained we needed to lower the thermostat in 2-degree increments rather than setting it straight to our target, and they were right, it worked. Still, that's a bit of a workaround at this price point. A lovely property with genuinely gracious service. We'd stay again.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. The hotel is impressive in its scale, but more importantly, it is clean and well maintained. Sometimes, various Marriotts, Hiltons, and other chains can let their flagship property in a city become dated and dusty, knowing that people will stay there regardless for various events. Not here - everything was polished and elegant. Our hotel room was spacious, with comfortable beds and perhaps some of the best views we've had in years. On the 12th floor, our view happened to include what seemed like all of Baltimore proper, including its waterfront. Better yet, there was a couch placed near the window, so you could have a scenic view as you curl up with a book! The water pressure in the shower was some sort of "rainfall" setup but functionally terrible. Still, that's not a reason to deduct a star :) The event spaces were beautiful as well, with wonderful harbor views. I didn't get the breakfast buffet, but my husband did while I got nails done. I should have known to lower my expectations and suspect something was awry when I noticed the wilted flowers in the foyer. Apparently, the flowers are refreshed on Thursdays, so I just arrived on the wrong day. But there should never be a wrong day to arrive at the Four Seasons! The air in the hotel lobby was hot and stagnant; I was expecting a cool and aromatic experience upon entry, similar to the Intercontinental or the Sonesta. I tried to ignore the decaying flowers because I was greeted warmly by the doormen and the front desk. I was surprised that I had to ask for slippers as I presumed those, mouthwash, and other toiletries would already be in the room. None of those items were in my room. Shockingly, the robe in my room was dirty! Housekeeping apologized and replaced it within 15 minutes. I was also surprised by how rough the towels were as I am used to Frette and linens of that ilk. This is also supposed to be a resort & spa hotel but it did not feel that way at all. I was also surprised by the brand of soaps and hair products they use here: they smelled like clay. The lotion left a gritty feel on the skin. The products were French (called Codage): Je n'aime pas ça. I went to the gym and was surprised they did not have bar pads for the barbells. If the Portland Harbor Hotel can offer pads for the gym equipment, the Four Seasons can too! In fact, I'm surprised they did not have weightlifting gloves. I was happy to see the orange-infused water and the scented & pre-moistened cold compress clothes. That was nice. The pool was closed for the season, so I could not do that. There was a complimentary sound bath session that I could not partake in since I did not order my room directly with the hotel. I'm not that thirsty for a sound bath but I was hoping to take a regular bath; the hotel does not offer bubble bath. The Portland Harbor Hotel does! I decided to take a shower instead but the faucets are not property calibrated: the hot water is cold & the cold water is hot. Then I tried to rest but I kept hearing doors slam at night and more slamming in the morning. I just assumed it was other guests (since there was a convention this week), but when I went to check-out, I noticed the hotel staff slam a door to a room that only hotel staff have access to near the elevators, you can hear the slams at each end of the hotel corridor. This hotel needs to invest in sound mitigation. I was really hoping for a far better stay as I was contemplating a work retreat here. This was my first experience at a Four Seasons property and it was shockingly disappointing. Baltimore deserves better. This felt more like 2 & half Seasons.
