I adore this mall because I have not had a bad shopping experience until Wednesday October 5th. 2022. I didn't plan this mall trip, but I ended up inside the mall thinking I was getting Egg-Foo-Young from a Chinese restaurant, but instead I settled for Sabrro Pizza. I'll review them in another post. Needless to say, there was no Egg-Foo-Young, but on my way out I noticed a store that had leggins on sale. It was actually an all leggins store for woman. This particular clothing store had a faint smell of a musty basement, but that didn't bother me as much as the cashier did. She was a big haired, dark-skinned female, medium/large in her size and she spoke softly. As I made my way to the rear of the clothing store I noticed several signs that read 50% off on some racks, but the rack that caught my eye was the one that read $3.99. Of course my feet lead me straight to that rack. As I browsed the rack's attire I couldn't help but notice the young lady cashier keep her eyes on me. I picked out three items. Before I made my way to the register to ring up my items I noticed a 50% sign on a rack with some waist cinchers and other undergarments for women who need to slightly have a little more squeeze. Although, I, myself am not very big I wanted to replace my old waist cincher. There were no prices on the tags of the garments so I called the young lady over to the racks, there were two, so she could assist me. After a slight hesitation, as if she didn't have feet to come to my aid, she made her way over and proceeded to inform me that the items were indeed half price, but she needed to check the prices and then she would be able to tell me the 50% total. I was ready to depart this store at this time for two reasons, the first being the long hassle and the second was because of the smell. I decided to leave the undergarments and simply buy the two pair of leggins I wanted and the jacket I had. All three clothing items were taken off the $3.99 rack to which the cashier eyed me the entire time. When I get to the register she begins to tell me that one of the leggins cost $25.00, the jacket was to a set that cost $15 or more, yet the jacket was a small and the pants that she claimed matched the jacket were a X-tra large and the final pair of leggings were $4.99. She obviously saw me take the clothing items off the $3.99 rack and she didn't even apologize for the mixup, she didn't offer me the price and she didn't not once stop complaining about how they stuck her in the store and she didn't know why the prices were what they were. But prior to this she acted as if she knew all about pricing when she was explaining to me about the 50% off undergarments. I just figured she needed some money for some more hair spray, lunch or she wanted leggins or something and tried to scam me. That is the oldest retail scam that cashiers do. The cashier will claim that they have no idea what is wrong with the prices, they will say that they can't make the correction and if you are stupid enough to purchase the over priced item that they give you and not the sale price that you see they will take the money they charged you and spend it on pocketbooks, sunglasses, drugs, liquor and their dusty boyfriends that probably put them up to the scam. Unfortunately, I've misplaced the receipt that should have the name of the store, but if I find it I will post it. read more

U actually like this mall. It's not big and confusing like some malls; just two levels. However they have the main stores most people shop at when he makes it a convenient shopping choice. I like it mostly because it convenient to my job and easy to get to from home. It's also never really crowded. I don't know how the store owners feel but I like walking in a store and it's not filled with people because I notice that's when I get good service. Hence me always getting excellent service when I'm at the mall in any store and I e shopped in several. The people they hire are professional and polite. So I prefer coming here that KOP which is quite excessive in my opinion. Also there's a target attached and the makeup store Ulta so the mall makes all your shopping need easy and accessible. read more

I got kick out of the mall for no reason! They were saying that we were cursing at other people and made us stand in the cold rain telling others we were doing stuff that we didnt do and we were crying while she was smiling at us. Also multiple people saw us crying when we tried to tell them the story she denied it.She is so rude. And we were there before and this never happened. The code of conduct said a group of 4 must be with an adult and we were in a group of 5 so we split up and still kicked out! This is going to be a short one but I just want to start by saying that I've been coming to this mall since I was a baby. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Sadly in the recent years it has gone down hill, places closing, dead crowds (most of the time) and just the look of the place is out of style. I will never forget the days where me and my friends would come her and hang out for the day. Wow I miss those times. But now? It's kind of just a place to do a lap around and leave. I think as sad as it would be to see it gone..maybe it would be for the better. Remember, this is just me being honest. I think the area would do better if they knocked it down and build up popular stores like a new shopping center, ya know? 10 years ago, I would've said 5 stars. Today not so much. read more

This review is for VIP Holiday Photos. This company was doing photos inside of the mall for Easter with the Easter Bunny. I am highly disappointed with their customer service support. They were not willing to work with me and willing to address my concern. They charged me for photos that were unsatisfactory and would not allow a redo. Target joined Springfield mall a few years ago and it was a positive add on as many more shoppers started coming back to this mall. It was quiet before then. I like coming here to pick up various things such as items from Macy, Target, shoes, Disney Store, Tony Lukes cheesesteaks and books.. to name a few. Springfield mall has various activities for young kids such as story time, Santa and Easter bunny visits. Make sure you sign up for their email so you're in the know. The mall actually looks better than when I was there in 2006. I guess that's thanks to Target being there. I don't remember what was in that location. I know it wasn't Strawbridge & Clothier because another Target store is in that location on Baltimore Pike. There was a little bit of everything but having a Super Target on two stories with the cart escalator is great. The area definitely needed Target after all the Clover stores went away. It seems kind of downhill, but it could have been Burlington Coat Factory, which would have been downhill. I was surprised that Ruby Tuesday was there, as they've closed a lot of locations. I saw a few food options, but it's just as well you head up S.R. 320. Oh, and if the driver who sideswiped my car in the parking lot is reading this, I've got two words for you, and they're not "happy birthday". read more

This is in relation to the mall Santa. I am disgusted by how my family was treated by the staff. The people running the scheduling/ pictures are idiots and incredibly rude to customers. Go to any other mall! We arrived at 4 PM with another family and there was a sign saying walk ins welcome. It took the workers 35 minutes to acknowledge us just to tell us that the people in front of us were the cutoff and that Santa would not see my children because they had too many reservations. The people in front of us arrived at the same time. They wasted our time and made my children cry because for 35 minutes they were excited to have their turn. Your circus of a staff seriously lost our business FOREVER! Shame on you!! read more

My 14 year old was shopping at this mall with her friend. They bought a few items and were heading to another store. While on the escalator, a security guard who was in front of them asked if they were 21. The girls said no, and he asked if they were with an adult. They proceeded to say no, and he told them, "They needed to leave." They asked if they could wait inside for their ride, and they were told, "You can wait outside." He then proceeded to follow these two 14 year olds out like they were criminals. My daughter told me they even walked past groups of kids , possibly 14-16, with no adults, who were not approached. Code of Conduct states, "Mall management has the right to prohibit groups of four or more individuals to congregate or walk the interior or exterior of the mall unless the group has appropriate adult supervision." These girls were not in a group. They have gone to this mall before with no problems, and they were doing nothing but shopping. Why this security guard decided that two young females should wait outside is beyond me. read more

Parking is terrible. The lots and access points around it are always very congested. Anchor stores are ok but really only Macy's is a true anchor and I find it under supplied. Seems like stores are opening and closing on some regular basis. Lots of center aisle kiosks make it crowded read more

this mall was built in 1970s. its small but useful. there are nice shops, food, good range of things, plenty of parking & it is close to local arteries & main roads. It has stuff for kids young adults and is good for walking on bad weather days if the gym bores you. Mall culture is in decline but this is a good mall that is clean and well managed. bonuses; the media trolley has a stop here, so you can get here by public transit from anywhere by rail, as well as great bus service. Also, at night and on weekends, you can bike around the mall--its a great workout. read more

This is a nice shopping mall. It has all the basics. Macys, Target, Disney Store, typical shops you will find in the mall these days plus a couple of specialty shops. You can tell it is an old shopping mall but renovated on the inside. We enjoyed strolling thru it, and found what we were looking for. read more

This pertains to kids footlocker in this mall. We went in to find our toddler son new shoes. Asked the girl employee to measure our sons foot, she told us he's a size 9.... I said how is that possible when his old shoes are a 6 and he still has a little room at the top but their just getting too tight. She said well he's a 9 now, asked for that size in three different shoes and no go don't have them. We went down to another shoe store in the mall and he's actually a size 7. Im typically an online shopper but if I need something this is typically my mall. I would consider this a mall geared largely for children. It has multiple children shoe stores like Journey, Foot Locker Kids and Stride Rite. For clothing they also have Gymboree, Gap Kids, crazy 8, justice and children's place; there is also Target and Macy's. It's typically never extremely crowded but does lack a decent food court that most malls this size would have. read more

Their two anchor stores are Macy's and Target, but there are very few worthwhile stores in this mall: some of the bigger names include Hot Topic, Yankee Candle, Bath and Body Works,and Victoria's Secret. It takes all of 5 minutes to walk this mall and you'll probably have it all to yourself since I saw a max of about 5 people the entire time I was there. With KOP so close, why even bother with Springfield? I know I never will. read more

This is a simple, straightforward, no holds barred suburban shopping mall. It's the type of mall where you just go in, get what you need, then leave. It's not a big mall, and it's just enough to satisfy my needs. Sometimes I'll take my 4 yr old over there just to run around and let out some energy. Maybe I'll treat him to lunch at Friendly's, if the wait time isn't too long. It also helps that there is a Target anchor store conveniently located off of the main road. Parking can be a pain sometimes. Also, please be cautious of your fellow suburbanites who do not know how to drive, as they all seem to frequent the parking lot of this mall on the weekends. Speaking about the parking lot....one thing that fascinates me is that there is a long steel structure that almost spans the length of the lot that is located behind the mall. Whenever I see it, I try to analyze what on earth that thing was used for....was it part of the skeleton of an existing building that was previously demolished? Was it used as a monorail tramway at one point? If someone could shed some light on this, I will appreciate it! I've even posted some recent photos of it. read more

This is a pretty decent mall to have so close to my house. You've got your higher end women's clothing stores, like NY and Co. Then you have a Charlotte Russe and Wet Seal, if you're looking for some cheaper things. The Target that's in here is also excellent - two floors, very clean, and lots of clothing options. I was very underwhelmed with this mall. I've heard people raving about it so maybe it was worked up so much so that it couldn't meet the standard that I had set for it. It has the major stores that most malls have but honestly it's pretty small. Don't get me wrong it's a cute and clean mall if you are in the area. However I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here. I'd much rather drive to a closer and larger mall. The main reason why we even drove out to this mall was because my daughter had an appointment for her 3 year old pictures at The Picture People. read more

I been going to the springfeild mall in particular for the Santa and easter bunny photos every year since my first daughter was born she is now 11. I have since had another daughter who is 3 now. I was dedicated to only cherry hill photos at first it was for consistentcy but eventually evolved into being my favorite and only place to go. I was dosappointed to find out i believe last year cherry hill photos stopped doing them at springfeild mall.i went all the way to plymouth meeting where i found out they were at. By the time easter came i forgot and booked my photos as usual online to avoid the wait and having to pay there etc. Well when i got there not bad wait wasnt long not too crowded considering it was day before Easter. My faughter took well to bunny and i felt she got her time,they neglected to give me bunny ears which the bunny struggled to tell me to get them anyway when i was done i waited in what looked like the line to get pictures well as my daughter grew aggravated o asked the guy if i coukd get my photis as i watched several people go agead of me.i was sitting back some trying ti hold my daughter from running off.he very ignorantly asked me some info as i explained to him i already paid i just needed my photos. From then on there several encounters in which i had to walk away from him and return each time tequesting my photos as he ignorantky ignored me took others in front of me and evebtually out right refused to guve me ny photis that i paid for. Not only did he rob me my daughter was hysterical in tears from being held there while he loudly argued with me shouting at me embarassing me and my daughter. Furthermore i paid over $100 at build a bear in which in the mess of arguing and being chased out if mall i lost somewhere along the way. It was the first one i ever boight for my daughter. That little boy behind the counter should be fired i have video of the whole ordeal and intend to use it to expose him. Im sorry it took me this long to report the incident but i was very busy with other personal issues. This experience was not only traumatizing for me and ny daughter but was ultimately embarassing and shaneful that i got robbed of ny photos and my build a bear.i will never return ti the springfeild mall again its a shame because ive soent my whole life in that mall. Its a disgrace i was treated like that .i still want my photis and hope to get conpensated for my loss of the build a bear also. read more

Since the Granite Run Mall closed down, the Springfield Mall has been packed. I grew up in the area and made a visit and had to pick up some gifts. The mall has just about anything someone would need. Flanked on each side of the mall are department stores, Target and Macys. Inside the store are various stores to shop at for what you need. It is also conveniently located off of Baltimore Pike. Many nearby stores and restaurants are in the area. read more

This is a decent sized and basic mall. I've been coming here since grade school and it's been through many changes. Some of the biggest attractions include the Macy's, target, Ulta, Aerie/ American Eagle Outfitters, loft, Gap, and Express. The mall is 2 floors and the target and Macy's are on opposite ends that occupy 2 levels. The stores are generally clean and not too busy being located in the Suburbs. Depending on the time however, I can see it getting very busy during the rush hour especially for stores like Target. There's a small food court and subways inside the mall. There's a Starbucks inside the target too. There are also other popular stores inside (i.e. Charlotte Russe, wet seal, Disney store, etc.). I usually go in order to hit up the stores I just named in the beginning. It's a solid mall experience. It usually opens at 10am. I would double check to see if the store that you want to go to is still open in case they closed. Again, I've seen this mall go through many makeovers so double check that they're still there! read more

I was set to review Springfield Mall and realized I already did. I think I was a bit harsh and terse the first time around , so Ill expand. Growing up in Delco, Springfield was my least favorite mall. It didnt have the glamour of KOP or the down home feel of Granite Run. There was nothing in there that excited me. Im old enough to remember when Sylvia Seigrist went postal with an assault rifle in there, and I can remember thinking that she picked the right mall. Another black mark , in my relationship with Springfield, was that as a small child, my sister Gina got lost in there for about 15 minutes, but it seemed like an hour. For whatever reason, I was ultra protective of my sister, who is 7 years my junior. Maybe it was because my parents were divorcing and I sensed that they had other things on their minds than watching us, but I definitely worried about my sister more than I do my own kids now. We had gone to SM on an outing with neighbors and while the suburban housewives chatted away, Gina wandered off. I was beside myself, at 11 or 12 leading a search party throughout that mall. She was found, trying on earings in a Claires but I was a frazzled wreck and I didnt speak to Gina or my mom for days. I avoided going to that mall for years, because it would be reminded of that anxiety filled day. Fast forward about 25 years. Now I live about 5 minutes from the Sprinfield Mall. I find myself there more often than I like. They now have a Target attached to it, which is cool but almost stupid as the newly renovated Springfield Target is only a few blocks away. Theyve redone this place and it really doesnt resemble the place that Gina gave us a scare. theres nothing there that really excites me, but at my age, im not sure what really would. I was there the other day and the entire bottom level smelled like, (Ill be nice here) egg salad sandwich, it was kind of a turnoff seeing how I cant stand egg salad sandwiches, or anything which smells like poop for that matter. The food options here are decent. They have Sbarro, chinese, and a good mexican place, which is a decent no frills version of Qdoba or Chipolte. Overall, Id still say its my least favorite of all the local malls, but with the edition of the Target, i feel like I can come here for one-stop shopping around the holidays. But if I come here again I have to take into consideration 2 things... 1). That farty egg smell better be gone. 2). Im keeping a better eye on my sister. Those 31yr olds can be a handful. read more

The Springfield Mall, where the parking is horrendous, the crowds are obnoxious and you have seen the same stores since 1984. The parking at the Springfield Mall is outrageous. People drive like complete idiots and people always forget how to look both ways before they cross the street. People will walk right in front of your car and not even give a 'thank you' wave. It seems that it takes several minutes to find parking. Good luck trying to park right in front of the entrances! The Springfield Mall doesn't have a huge variety of stores, like KOP. They have Charlotte Russe for women and Aeropostale and Wet Seal for the younger girls and teenagers. They don't have many men's or boys stores in here. They're plenty of food courts though, which is always a plus. They have Auntie Anne's, Tony Luke's, Sbarro's, Friendly's and a Starbucks in the Target next store. Honestly, putting a Target here was the best decision ever. This Target is really convenient. Overall, it's a regular Delco mall. It's not Granite Run (aha) and it's certainly not KOP. There's nothing special about it and there's nothing completely horrible about it. read more

The Santa experience was a nightmare. Santa was fine. The person working the desk, camera and i assume customer service was terrible and should not have a job. She was rude, not helpful.the camera was broken. We of course had to pay in advance so no picture. Had to email "corporate" and it will take 7 days for a refund. Acceptable? No. She didnt address the kids, she ignored us, she barely kept her mask on. Want santa pic? Avoid this set up. read more

This mall sucks! The elevators are poorly maintained. There is barely any good stores. This mall is not entertaining, the main elevator is always broken, the Macy's is dirty, and there Is barely and food stores there. The people there are rude and weird and just let everybody litter in the elevators. I even got stuck in the elevator there! read more
