I love going to the Mall. It has everything you need. The only place I didn't like is the cellphone booth downstairs near Macy's I took my Apple Watch to get fixed due to the face came off. Only to find out that I paid $125 for them to put glue on it and it broke back off in 3 weeks. Shame on this place. read more

I live by Paramus, the shopping Mecca of the country. I'd never been down here by the Deptford Mall. I have no idea what this area is like, but I'm used to Bergen County congestion. To get into Garden State Plaza on a Saturday night, well, having grown up in Bergen County, I probably just wouldn't try. And forget trying to park. My son and I arrived at approximately 8p on a Saturday night. To our surprise, we were able to just park, right by a mall entrance. We assumed it must be closing. It wasn't- it was open until pm. We came in by what looked like a giant arcade. We didn't go in but it looked cool. It looked like a good place for teens to go, maybe? The mall itself was clean, spacious, and has a lot of stores. I expected a dead mall since we were able to just park easily like that. There is a nice food court, a loose candy store, trendy clothing stores that teens like to shop in, etc. There is even a children's theater (like acting type theater, not movie), which is small, but seems like it would be a cool thing. I have no idea what people would be doing in that area if you're not from there - we were there for a swim meet at Gloucester Institute of Technology and it was close to there and where we were staying. So I'm going to say that if there are other colleges around, it seems like maybe we were near Rowan University in Glassboro, it would be a nice, nearby mall with easy access, especially if parents came, just for somewhere to go walk around, or if they wanted to buy their kid something. There are so many other big box stores around too but I remember when my mom would visit me at Rider, we'd go to Quakerbridge Mall sometimes just to walk around. Deptford Mall is a good size- I'd say more stores than Shops at Riverside (Riverside Square #iykyk), but less than Garden State Plaza. Maybe around the size of Paramus Park or a little bigger. read more

While the mall is very amazing and there are many services i do have one complaint. The location perfumes and colognes scammed me today. I bought the cologne Dis-Lui for $45 i go home later to find out it's only $8 i was very upset. While it was a scam the service was good i just have a complaint about the prices. read more

It's the mall of my childhood, always felt like a treat to go. This past trip I had some extra time to run in. I walked around to Forever 21, Icing, and VS to browse. Everything felt like the days of my youth so it was nostalgic. After I grabbed some pretzels and smacked while I headed to Sephora to grab some stuff. A really good trip and recommend going on a weekday during midday. read more

of all the malls in the area, the deptford mall by far has the most to do. although i'm not a fan of the food options, there are plenty of them. the prices are high, but there's a decent amount of different stores to shop in. it's very easily walkable, pretty accessible for disabled people (some stores do have very tight aisles that i'm sure could make it difficult but it does vary store to store), the round 1 arcade is fun they have a lot of games and there's plenty of things to do and eat in the surrounding area too. the bathrooms are normally pretty clean, about what you'd expect from a decent mall. good location, good shopping selection, poor value. still a fun time occasionally. read more

As a tot, this is where I went to go cry on Santa's lap. As a teenager, this is where I went with my group to eat "fancy" dinners at Ruby Tuesday and aimlessly and blissfully wander around the mall. These days, I hate this mall. That may have something to do with me hating malls, period. But this one? The parking is a nightmare. The stores aren't that great. Too many chains. Too many children. Too many slow-moving packs of shoppers. And why is Guest Services located on one edge of the mall? Why not the middle? Oh, because they stuck a Starbucks there instead, with some train thing for kids behind it. Makes sense. If you *must* go to a South Jersey mall, go to Cherry Hill and park in the Nordstrom parking garage, where there are always ample spots and less frustration. The one good part of this mall for the Gloucester County shoppers? Red Robin. I just love that chain. (But one is going up in Cherry Hill right now, too, so..) read more

I've been going to Deptford Mall since I was a teen lil chippie! It boasts good anchor stores - Macy's, Boscov's, JC Penney, and Sears (I think?). There are also alot of other great stores - my favorite is NY&Co - also, Victoria's Secret, Children's Place, Justice, Yankee, Hallmark, AT&T (the best carrier, professor!), Disney, ETC. Even the kiosks are good - I had an iPod fixed there b/f in under an hour ($80 at the time). I also LOOOOVE that I can get a massage (full or chair) there AND my Italian brows threaded. Beware of the teens galore if you go on a Friday night or God forbid ;) a Saturday night. I usually park by the JC Penney hair salon instead of the main entrance. Ahhh, there is also a Ruby Tuesday's and assorted 'fast food' places in the food court on the upper level. Chic Fil A, the pizza place (forget name?) and the Mexican place (forget that too - I am getting older!) are my picks. The rest I tried are junk. Free wi-fi as well :) read more

If this was not the only mall within 5 miles of my home I would not go there at all. Mall security approached me and my service dog on the second floor to keep my dog leashed. Again on the 1st floor. And a third time by the same guy that approached me on the second floor . Finally I was filled around for the rest of the time I was there. Called today and my message was forwarded to the head of security. Whom did not come in till 2. 3 pm still no word from him . Guess I will have to take my recording of my encounter to the Deptford PD and file charges against the Three security guards for Harassment . read more

Anchor Stores can say a lot about what to expect in a shopping mall. The Deptford Mall is anchored by Macy's, Boscov's, Sears and JC Penney. Not insignificant by any means, but if you're looking for a larger variety of mid to higher-end stores and designer fashion labels, you won't find a whole lot here. Head to Cherry Hill Mall, King of Prussia Mall or the Christiana Mall. Otherwise, Deptford holds it's own as a clean mall with some pretty decent stores, adequate security and parking...even during the holidays. There are escalators at both ends and beyond the food court, there is a Red Robin (Level 2 near Sears) a Ruby Tuesdays (Level 1 next to Boscov's), and for all you coffee lovers; there's a Starbucks kiosk in the center of the mall on Level One. Did I mention that they also have FREE WiFi mall-wide? Oh, and if you've got little ones in tow, they've got a great Kids Play Zone which is located on the Upper Level Food Court in front of JC Penney's. It's getting better, better, better.... I used to scorn this mall when I was younger, but now laziness, children and lack of time have made me appreciate it much more. The fact that there are new stores and much-needed renovations in progress helps too though! There are now 4 anchor department stores, a large food court and enough stores that I can shop for work clothes & kids clothes in one shot. Good enough for me. The stores aren't super fancy like Fossil & BR, but who needs to spend that kind of money on a regular basis anyway? My only complaint is actually the scary Easter Bunny they have for pictures in the spring. That costume is seriously spooky. read more

Years ago this was the mall to go to but as the years go by it's quickly turning into one of those malls you see on TV that have lost stores and attract less and less people. Came here on Christmas Eve last year and it was a ghost town. The food court isn't terrible as long as you understand what quality food your going to get but even that has shunk in the past years. It's clean and has some nice shops but the loss of anchor stores like Sears is a bad sign for this once popular mall. read more

It's an all around good place the times i shop there. I got my sons shirts made for his first birthday at Flexy Deptford. As i was waiting, i grabbed chic fil a and ate with my baby. But I really wish the mall would address the nursing room issue... it reeks of pee because i believe someone peed in the chair.. and i was waiting outside of it for quite a while just to see teens come out of it. i decided to make a little seat and remove the pee stained cover. While i was in there two more teens were outside of it talking extremely loud, and when i left they went in it. mind you, it's only a nursing seat and table. i wish you guys would clean it out & put a lock on it for nursing mothers access only. please do better. where else is there in the entire mall to nurse babies? read more

What you call a " Family bathroom " is a horrible joke .. there is one changing table and it is next to a nonexistent door that anyone can walk by and look into .. for those who are in charge of this mall , would you change your daughter or son in a room where people are free to walk into a look ? You can't even put a door where there once was one .. let's not even talk about how there wasn't ventilation in there .. was the lack of the door for ventilation?? Yeah.. Mayhem... I am used to the K.o.P(King of Prussia) mall myself seeing i used to live in Pa.These guys are def. not as big maybe a 1/4 the size but they do get packed. They try and do a good job in accommodating to what ever you are looking for. Food court has some good options to it.. could use more seating, seeing this being a main stream mall. Its ok in my book.. i come here to go to sears for tools, or hide out in Ruby Tuesdays while the wifey does her thing read more

The number of non-dead malls in South Jersey has been dwindling to just a few, so it's interesting that Deptford Mall is still quite busy on the weekends. For me though, this mall's location has never been convenient since I don't travel down Route 55 very often and the alternative route from Black Horse Pike is also a bit out of the way. Nevertheless, I do still make a point of coming this way once in a while. Parking is actually more than adequate if you consider all the parking areas around and outside of the main loop, although when the mall is very busy, you may end up parking a bit far from one of the entrances. This mall has a variety of stores -- something for everyone. The most notable exceptions are they don't have an Apple Store or a Microsoft Store. There is, however, an Amazon kiosk, which might be interesting if I didn't already have a few of their tablets. To me, the biggest downside of this mall is the layout does not allow for quick access to the food court. I have to walk through at least a quarter of the mall from the closest entrance to get there, which is not ideal because that is often the only reason I hit a mall. read more

Nothing new here. Some changes in stores like as of today Bath and Body Works is temporarily closed until January 31st. Dicks sporting goods will be taking over the lower level where Sears used to be. They are remodeling the upper level Where Sears used to be as well. All in all a nice place to go even just windy w shooing on a cold day. read more

I've been to this mall a handful of times so far and I'm disgusted by the fact that NO ONE helps in crimes. Idk what their security does but they r probably so worried about shoplifting items that r like $50 bucks when they shouldn't be missing things like a toddler in distress, vomiting and with bruises and a broken arm!! I really hope management trains their people to look for things like this! And report it IMMEDIATELY TO CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES If you look up justice for BABY ARIANNA you'll see the disgusting thing. People need to look and be more aware of those surrounding us. I would never come here if it weren't so close to my job. The stores I frequent are forever 21 and Express when I am in need of something quick and wont have time after work to go to Cherry Hill. They have recently opened H&M which I am excited about. I have also used this mall for Santa pictures when the Cherry Hill Mall was booked. They also have a cute little area with rides for toddlers near Sears and Forever 21. Their food court sucks but they have a Red Robbins and Ruby Tuesday attached. So there is a convenience factor, but I could live without. read more

Just left this place and hope that I don't have to go back inside. Hang out for teenagers with nothing else to do. Several people wearing mask under their chins or just barely covering their mouths. Or even no mask at all, and no the person did not have a medical excuse because he took the mask when security offered, but still didn't put it on. I saw numerous businesses doing their part to frequently sanitize, keep people distanced, and greet customers. I don't like wearing the mask any more than anyone else because I have to wear a mask where I work, but if that is the mandate then wear it correctly please. You are putting all those employees at risk who are trying to earn money to pay their bills. read more

This mall is slowly, but surely becoming competition for the Cherry Hill Mall, mirroring the images, and styles, and now the stores. There is always ample parking spaces, and the direct surrounding area is great. There are a ton of different stores to choose from, and plenty of palces to stop and eat. read more

The train ride is back! Underneath the food court there is a train ride for small children. It's a little expensive at $4.50 per kid, but the kids love it. Also, there is now a Starbucks and a Yogo factory right next to it as well. See my previous review for info about the rest of the mall; the short version of it is that this is actually a great place to take your kids on a hot or cold day. Between the rides, the playground and the various dessert shops, they will enjoy it quite a bit. I don't even shop here, I just use it as a cheap destination for bored little ones. read more

Meh, It's the Deptford Mall. I usually only go here for 3 stores: Forever 21, VS/Pink, and Francessa's. If not, I'll just drive the extra 15 minutes and go to Cherry Hill Mall. I hate that on nights/weekends, there's teenagers running rampage around this mall. Half the time, there's something broken or it's under construction. The food court is medicore at best, it's all overpriced. I would eat at Red Robin or Ruby Tuesday if I was to come here for dinner. I'm hoping I'll like this mall more once H&M opens in the fall. It's been many years since I've been to this mall. It has changed a bit, but I think it needs more marble and fountains. Maybe then I would feel motivated to buy stuff I don't need or really want. My life would go on if I never made it back. But if I were a teen girl, I would probably feel differently. read more

I mean.. it's the Deptford Mall. They've been constantly changing as of lately which is kind of annoying. They spent a lot of time remodeling Victoria's Secret and to me it looks the same. A lot of high end stores have made their way in here which I guess makes me for better business? However-- I don't care for them.. I think their food court needs some. There's a Starbucks in the main area which is nice-- the rest of the food area needs good additions. Oh and not a lot of sit down restaurants either. read more

This is a pretty large mall. I don't think it competes with Cherry Hill but it's much less crowded. There's all your staple stores like: Gap, Bath & Body Works, Abercrombie, Victorias Secret, Express, etc BUT there are quite a few missing too. There's a decent food court although finding a seat proved to be challenging. I was even able to get a vegan salad! The layout of the mall doesn't have hidden hallways so I found it easy to get around but if you have an agenda and want to cover things like: Apple Store, Bebe, AX, The Limited, Godiva.. I'd head to Cherry Hill. I'd come back here, but now that I know what stores are here, I can't expect to browse too much. Which frankly my wallet deserves a little vacation. read more

Deptford mall has lots of shops and eateries. I wanted to try Red Robin burger joint and def all kinds of burgers and endless fries. Def would recommend. I also have been needing a fridge but waited to late. My fridge died. So I went to Penneys to find one . Better selection than other malls. Overall great mall close to everything. I prefer this mall over other area malls. It's easy to navigate and move around, has four department stores and plenty of retailers. It has the stores that serve my particular needs/wants -- sephora, pandora and Macy's to name a few. And Crumbs Bake Shop. Cannot forget the blessed cupcake shop. Parking is never a hassle and there are plenty of dining options both in/at the mall and in the surrounding neighborhood. read more
