Willow Grove for me is complicated. I can't exactly tell you where it's supposed to fall in the Philadelphia metro area mall hierarchy. It's only a half hour from King of Prussia, which does not help. There is a large amount of parking, but on a busy day you might have to walk a little bit further. The mall is three stories and anchored by Macy's and Bloomingdale's, along with various other stores in two re-developed anchors. The interior is very nice and clean. The available stores, for being in what is considered an upper tier mall, are just ok with a lot of stores you can find in most other malls. There's also more vacancies, local stores, and temporary stores then you would expect, to the point they would add up to about a whole floor. Tilted 10 as an arcade is just ok, but not as impressive as a Round1, with both being expensive. Primark's not bad as a clothing option. Willow Grove does have an outstanding food court that was very busy during my visit. You basically couldn't get near Chick-fil-A with the line they had. They also have The Cheesecake Factory in one of the re-developed anchors. If this mall were in another place, like Harrisburg, it would be an outstanding regional mall that would attract shoppers from hours away. Can I tell you that Willow Grove with worth going out of your way for a visit? Not really, not right now at least. read more

It's...a mall. Many stores that used to be here when I was a kid are no longer, including the department stores. This mall used to be busy, busy, busy, filled with shoppers and people everywhere. Now, there are still some people, but it isn't like it used to be thanks to online shopping. You can still get some good people watching in during peak seasons, though. Pretty standard mall in a suburb outside of Philly. Of note there is a Primark. Also not everyday mall stores are Build a Bear, Slime Time (more of an experience) , and Tilted 10, an entertainment space. There's Bloomingdale's, macys, and Nordstrom Rack too. As far as restaurants, there is Yard House and the Cheesecake Factory. Also a food court with chic-fil-a and Auntie Anne's pretzels. Overall, it's a decent mall and I'll return again. read more

Like most malls in the area, this one continues to degenerate. The nicest stores continue to leave while a sprinkling of five and dime type stores are added. Violent crime in both the parking lot and inside the mall is skyrocketing, proportionally with the decaying neighborhood. I always visit this mall with tear gas and concealed body armor. Literally. I will not be kept away by the criminal element. There are enough worthwhile stores remaining for now but, at the current rate of decline, my rating will be lowered to one star in just two to three years. read more

This used to be a great mall, The aesthetics, the feel.. provided a comfortable shopping atmosphere for a family shopping getaway. But recently they had removed the beautiful fountain that was a centerpiece of this mall.. and replaced it with a donut stand. I love the Willow Grove Mall, it's one of my favorite malls in the area!! (Slightly above Plymouth Meeting and on par with King of Prussia). There are many things I love. The Willow Grove area, 3 large stories to walk around, the many stores including a Sears Hardware, a Macy's, and a decent sized food court, they even have enough space for a fountain, a giant Christmas tree that spans all 3 stories and a carousel on the third floor! They also have one of the best Cheesecake Factory's I've been to so far, that's a plus too. Another thing I noticed that is worth pointing out is the fact that unlike other malls, the Willow Grove Mall has many stores open and not too many closed down which is great as it adds to the selection of stores to shop at! The parking lot it is in is very large and wraps around the mall, with a 3 storie parking garage and many other stores around the lot. I'm not at the Willow Grove Mall too often (I live 40 minutes away) but when I do go, it's always a enjoyable experience and an awesome occasion! read more

It's kind of turning out to be a flea market with a roof. Willow Grove Park Mall is no longer it's former self. Lots of big box stores moved out and tons of independent, "fast" fashion moved in. Cheesecake Factory is still there, Apple Store is still there, Macy's, Bloomingdale's... Make sure you check the store listings before you come because what was there before may not be anymore. read more

A lot of rude people working there. I don't know if it's a "post pandemic" thing or what. While of course everyone is not rude that works there it's a lot of people. The people at Cinnabon - Rude. Starbucks - rude "what do you want?" It's "what would you like? Or how can I help you?" Lady at Macy's working in the luggage department - Rude AF. I don't like malls as is so it's ever more important that people don't treat me like I'm not about to spend the money I work for at their place of employment. I know some people have the mindset that they don't want to go back to work and I get that people are stressed but be nice to people. read more

Unlike other commenters that lack the ability to remain on topic and rant about a specific store - lets stick to the mall itself, which has been trending downward in recent years. Parking lot has always been a chore to negotiate. Constantly broken escalators is a bad look. Compelling food options are largely non-existent. 2 Chinese places in an otherwise limited food court. Fridays - ugh. Spaces next to carousel and the old Bravo have been vacant for years. No outparcels in lots. Without places to eat, I'm personally less likely to utilize the mall to shop as I "walk-off" a meal. Occupancy has taken a dip in the past couple of years. Third floor has taken a particularly hard hit, as have anchor retailers that are circling the bowl. (ie: Sears, JCP) Management has been proactive in carving up those anchor spots for multiple tenants. Biggest issue is that WGP has backfilled spaces occupied by national retailers with As Seen on TV, Snipes, Austin5, Urban Planet....stores you'd expect to find at Franklin Mills. As such the current clientele now reflects the demographic of that mall. Take that any way you wish - but many higher income shoppers living North of the Turnpike now spend their disposable income elsewhere. Challenge for management, reverse that trend. I have been to this store so many times, and each time has been superb! Kudos to Courtney especially, for her knowledge of Coach products, and outstanding customer service! We were greeted by her tonight, with a very warm hello. I was interested in looking at their trench coach. She immediately looked to see if they had my size, assisted me with the jacket, proceeded to the terminal to inquire about other colors, and spoke about the fabric, style and practical ways that I could benefit from the coat. Tammy was not too far away, and also engaged in conversation with us, affirmed what Courtney was discussing with us, about the material, versatility and design of Coach products. We were amazed to see such passion, real ness and confidence ooze from a sales associate. Great medium sized mall. I like this mall because it's fairly close to the Philadelphia area. It has a wide selection of stores from Bloomindales and Soma to Primark and H&M. I subtracted one star due to semi confusing layout (acceptable but could be better) and due to bigger stores surrounding mall complex not being close enough to walk to fairly quickly. Overall, this mall is a one stop shop with great variety, decent customer service, and a comfortable environment that's good for adults and the average teenager or family outting. read more

I have frequented this mall more times than I can count but my experience when I went in on Thursday, June 27th was so shocking that I had to write a review. I went to pick my children up from the mall and walked through the food court to go use the restroom. The floor in the walking area was so disgusting I could not believe my eyes. I don't know if there was a staff shortage or what but that was just ridiculous. I would be surprised if someone didn't slip on food while walking through. Hopefully management sees this and addresses it. read more

If you ever go to this mall and survive long enough to need a pick-me up snack, may I suggest the cart vendor between Guess and Bath and Body works on the ground floor? The kind old gentleman that runs this stand is a total sweetheart. My co-worker had asked me to pick up a pretzel for her while on break. She suggested this vendor, and since I had never been there before, I decided to give him a try. He offered a choice between salted or unsalted as well as stuffing the bag with some napkins for my journey. He even offered a cup of mustard just in case my co-worker had a hankering for a zip to her pretzel. This mall is not as nice as I remember. I think I know why... Why does it seem that it lacks actual clothing stores? When I go to the mall it's usually for clothes. I'm not one to run to the Yankee Candle Store or the Hallmark Gold Crown Store. Also the escalators are in weird places. They just are... They do have a Swarovski store which is nice and not a store you find at a lot of malls. read more

One of the great malls of my childhood. Willow Grove Park opened in 1983, on the site of the previous Willow Grove Park, the amusement park from the 1920s. It's now a spacious, airy, sky-lit three-story affair with flying merry-go-round horse decorations meant to evoke the grand old days. Sentimental note -- my grandparents used to go on dates here. I, too, went on dates here, back when I was a high school boy dating high school girls (but sleeping with high school boys), but more importantly, this is where I got my job folding T-shirts at the Gap. read more

In these days when malls need to step up their game in order to draw foot traffic, this mall seems to do a pretty good job of it. Granted, we're about equidistant from KOP, so we'll probably end up there more often than here, but it's a nice mall with nice design and good stores. There were quite a lot of people walking around, even though it was fairly late in the evening. read more

This mall is very outdated and dirty with unprofessional people managing it. The information area normally on the first-floor level is up on the third floor. The burger restaurant that used to be adjacent to the carousel on the third level is sitting vacant and empty I am shocked they have not put another restaurant in or network with an eatery. There are vacant stores throughout the mall, not a great selection. Then you only have a cheesecake factory, the yard house, and Fridays to eat at for inside dining everything else is in the food court which is not a great selection either so what are you left to do but leave the mall and spend money elsewhere. If you're not gonna update this property or add entertainment or things to keep business generating why are you open to such a disappointment. read more

It's a ok mall i dont recommend it. The customer service sucks here. I went into a primark and the line was super long with only two cashiers open!?. The cashiers dont smile or greets you. Ok whatever not surprised from Pennsylvania yet again. The attitudes with these people are unbelievable. I walked inside a perfumia store to look for this brand i wanted. He had it but tried to overcharged me when i looked online at other prices which were $10 cheaper. I kept asking if he could find a different size but instead he started to spray windex in my direction almost hitting me, and proceed to clean the glass shelves. Wow great service. This mall is my favorite mall and has been for a while. With mall dying out this mall probably has the most stores out of any mall close to me. It's a very nice neighborhood and there are many youth who go there and can safely walk alone. There are plenty clothing stores (my favorite) and a food court full of places to eat. If anything I am sad that the mall closes very early now but I understand that staying open late is not profitable anymore. read more

I like WGM. I'm not much of a mall person but when needed this is the mall we frequent the most. Just like any mall these years there are a lot of empty stores. They are losing the Sears shortly. They have the Cheesecake Factory, Macy's and Bloomingdales, that helps. They've done some renovations recently and it's always fairly clean. They have the best Santa and Mrs. Claus this time of year. Oh Willow Grove. I want to like you, I really do. But I just can't get past the kids. I really can't. I try not to do big shopping with you, I just run in if I'm looking for a new "going out" shirt or something. If I spend any more time with you, I think I'd lose my mind! I feel like every time I visit you, I have to avoid your groups of pubescent boys trying to "holla at me" or asking my friends to buy them the new Halo because they're not old enough (true story) or your throngs of 12-16 year-old girls with far too much makeup on and far too little clothing for a MALL. It's nothing personal. I remember being a teenager and having nowhere to go but a mall, but I think I've outgrown you. I'm sad enough about the path our country is blazing towards an unsettling future without having to overhear a conversation between two very young girls which included the following, "I swear to God, if he bought me that bracelet, I would've had sex with him." No Willow Grove, I need to have more hope than that. I need to be able to escape my day-to-day and really ENJOY my shopping experience. I just can't do that with you. We can try to be friends. Has a pretty good selection of stores although some are missing but then again it isn't no where near the size of KOP. Has something for everyone though. Was at mall during earthquake. I am so astonished that nothing happened. No claxons, no emergency exits, no loud speaker telling an escape plan for emergencies. I have formal emergency training. I knew to get out. Most people milled around not knowing what to do. Heavens forbid it wasn't more catastrophic. Love Willow Grove Mall! Not only did I frequent this mall as a consumer, but also as an employee at one of the many stores in here. This mall is is pretty big and consists of three stories, a few restaurants, nice food court, and a carousel. The new wing looks like it will be nice and many more stores will be opening up in that section. The mall is always clean, well lit, never seems overcrowded. There is also a full sized Starbucks located here that opens earlier than the stores. I loved this fact and would, sometimes, be a little late for my retail job in order to get my latte fix. Restaurants: Cheesecake Factory, TGI Fridays, and Bravo! Cucina Italiana Big name stores: Bloomingdales, Coach, White House Black Market, H&M, Forever 21, and Aldo, just to name a few. read more

Willow Grove Mall is a pretty nice mall to shop in. I used to go all the time in high school because some friends lived near there. Back then, the mall was full of rich suburban kids pretending to be all angsty, so they dressed in goth. I'm not sure what the high school kids are up to these days, but I am sure that you'll still find spoiled suburban teenagers roaming the mall. That aside, I like that Willow Grove has some stores that aren't in the other nearby suburban malls, like Oxford Valley or Neshaminy. WG has Bloomingdale's, Bebe's (which used to be an okay store, but now it's a cheap hoochie-mama store), a pretty good food court, J. Crew, etc. Basically, some more expensive stores than some other area malls. However, don't go to the stores that you find in other malls, like American Eagle or Banana or Gap, etc., since the same items that are sold in both malls are actually more expensive by a few dollars at Willow Grove than at the other malls. Anyway, this isn't a bad place to shop. I'm also a big fan of Panera, and there's one near the mall. read more

Definitely not as big or nice as King of Prussia Mall but a hell of a lot better than the Montgomery Mall. This mall has all the staples of a good, decent mall and since it's not that spread out, you don't have to walk as much as King of Prussia Mall. This mall is different in that it's three floors as opposed to the usual two floors. There were a few stores missing that the King of Prussia Mall had (ie. Lululemon). Uniqlo just opened a store here too so that's a big plus if you're into their fashion sense. Even though I live 5 mins away from Montgomery Mall, I'd definitely drive 20 mins more to go to Willow Grove Mall. And if I really need to get something that Willow Grove Mall doesn't have, then go to King of Prussia. Definitely check out their website of their list of stores before going if you're unfamiliar to the place. One thing that annoyed me was the lack of a mall map/listing at the mall itself. Shouldn't be too difficult to set up one of those kiosks with the "You Are Here" maps on the back of it. read more

One of the better malls around the area. It has three floors, a large food court, a carousel for the kiddies, and various specialty stores. My only gripe is the increasing number of mall rats over the years... but that's a given with any mall. I would try to avoid this place on Friday nights. Don't kids have better things to do, other than hang out at a mall? *shrugs Whenever I'm in a snacking mood while shopping, I'd check out the auntie anne's on the third floor - they have almond pretzels! This mall has really gone down hill in the last couple years. A bunch of odd, one-off stores selling junk and the majority of people don't wear a mask. Seems to be no one enforcing any sort of rules there, the "security guards" just sit around on their phones or chat with patrons. Most of the employees at these stores are unprofessional and don't do their jobs well. There are many malls in this area - Montgomeryville, Plymouth, Neshaminy - and all are much better than Willow Grove. read more

This mall always has a ton of parking so that's never an issue A+. Bloomingdales, Coach, Sephora, Macys, White House, Banana Republic = heaven. This mall is super clean and the patrons (with the exception of the "legging & Ugg boot" wearing clan's) are normal. Everytime I'm there, there is always one escalator that isn't working. Why, Willow Grove? Why? Love the old lady retirees at the front 'help' desk. Cute. I can also appreciate that unlike Garage and Abercrombie in King of Prussia, the Willow Grove stores don't have music blasting the windows out. I was here pre-black Friday/Christmas hoards, on a Tuesday night. That's probably a huge reason why this joint gets 4 stars. I am not a fan of large crowds, especially tweens loitering in groups of 8-16 waiting to spend their allowance at the food court or Zumiez. I think I dodged it entirely this time. read more
