I have no idea how to rate this mall. It's bright, clean, and very friendly feeling. There are lots of spaces for people to sit and eat or just relax. It's also mostly empty. There are tons of places that look like storefronts but they're displays. However, the stores they have are pretty nice. Boscos, Barnes and Nobles, Aveda, AMC theaters, and a smattering of smaller stores like Hot Topic and Hallmark. Frankly if you want to visit the stores they have it's a great mall. But if you're looking a mall to be amazed at the huge array of stores then this may not be the mall for you. I'm going to go high on the rating as I would visit it again. Neshaminy Mall is a dead mall with an unclear future. Externally, it looks like the ownership of the mall and the anchors are not keeping up with the landscaping and maintenance. The interior of the mall is largely dead, with one stand left in the food court, and portions of the seating being roped off. Part of the interior was sealed off leading to the AMC, but this has since been reopened after complaints. What's left here? Largely the anchors including the AMC, Boscov's, and the Barns & Noble. A handful of other stores remain, but these are far and few between. Essentially, you don't need to waste your time coming here unless you have very specific needs. With several redevelopment proposals made/stalled out/cancelled depending on what you read, Neshaminy Mall could be closed tomorrow or still open years from now. read more

I hadn't been to the Neshaminy Mall in years, but I was in the area so I decided to stop by and check it out. First, the main attraction at the Neshaminy Mall is their IMAX movie theatre. However, while the rest of the mall is fairly small they still have some nice stores. Their mains stores are Sears and Boscovs and they have a Target and Home Depot in the parking lot. The smaller stores within the concourse are also nice and carry a variety of goods. I especially like the Verizon store, Modell's Sporting Goods, Barnes and Noble and Pro Image Sports. Along the concourse are many stands selling a variety of food from bakery items to smoothies. Some of the other stands sold goods like toys or offered massages and VR games upon paying. They also have some rides. The parking lot here is very big and had a surplus of parking spaces, at least when I was here. The food court, which is located in the middle of the mall is fairly small, but offers some good food options including Riveria Pizza and a place selling cheesesteaks. Free WiFi is available and digital boards display the news and others show the mall's map. Altogether, the Neshaminy Mall is not as large as the King of Prussia mall, but they have some great stores! read more

A small mall that has a lot character. I've been coming to Neshaminy Mall for years and even though it is a very small mall, it always is a lot of fun. The mall is U-shaped, with the food court being in the middle. The best way to describe the mall is to break it up into a few sections. The Food Court: This place used to be a little bit bigger, but the jewelry stores on the corners keep creeping in and taking over the corner food stores. Has a Chick-fil-A, pizza place, China Max, salad place, Charley's, and a few other places. Auntie Anne's also has a couple of locations at the mall, along with Rita's Water Ice. Not too many restaurants in the food court area, or even in the mall as a whole, but they seem to hit all of the genres of food, so there is that. AMC 24: This is really the #1 reason to come to the mall and pretty much drives most of the traffic to this place. On the left side of the mall, you have one of the nicest, best movie theaters I've ever been to. Also now they added a Barnes & Noble to that area as well, so there is even more of a reason to go over there. The other side: This is really the dead zone of the entire mall because their isn't a lot of traffic being driven to this area. The Friendly's is over in this area along with another restaurant, Cafe Rivera. Other than those places and a few more stores like Spencer's, not much reason to come down to this end of the mall. Their is a pretty nice water fountain on this side with an Native American statue that is a staple of the mall, but other than that, not much to see on this side. If this mall really wants to improve, all they need to do is on the other side of the mall without the AMC, they need to add a major chain restaurant, like a Cheesecake Factory of something. Right now I have no reason to go to that side, but if they put a great restaurant over there, I'd eat dinner there, then catch a movie. Over the years, they've put new stores in the mall, like added a Barnes & Noble and the quality of the patronage has improved. Years ago, the mall was practically Gotham City with kids who dressed in all blacked and dyed hair walking around, but now all of that has cleared up a lot. This mall is pretty good during the week hours and Sunday hours- I however don't like it on fridays or Saturdays when all the teens are out hanging out. I'm not much for crowds or people so the fewer the people- is better for me. The mall is clean and there is always security staff on view so you feel safe. I choose this mall over the Philadelphia malls closer to me because it's less people and less problems, so I'd recommend it if you're more into family friendly places that have a safer feel to it. read more

Not the biggest mall. but they have free wifi, a mall app, safety escorts, movies. Anchor stores are Boscov's, Macy's and Sears. I used to come here often because this mall wasn't cookie cutter like Oxford Valley and Montgomery Mall and also wasn't high end like Mega Land of King of Prussia the Fashion Palace. This was a mall for regular people. Part of what made this mall unique was the Italian Restaurant Cafe Riveria.They had the perfect concept for Mall dining. The front was a good pizzeria where you could get a slice or a whole pizza. You could also walk threw the cafeteria line and have hot food made for you while you walked down the cafeteria line with a view of the open kitchen. The food was hot, fresh, fast, budget priced and surprisingly VERY GOOD! I had chicken dishes that were moist and my husband ate lots of pasta. The meals came with BIG salads and I always took home food. I read from The Midweek Wire that after 36 YEARS of being in Bussiness in Neshaminy Mall that Cafe Riveria lost their lease. I know that the mall offered Cafe Riveria another spot in the mall but they didn't agree on that spot in time and shuttered February 14th 2016. This restaurant was loved so much for 36 years that OVER 10,000 people signed a petition for Cafe Riveria to keep their spot in the mall. What Neshaminy Mall did to Cafe Riveria after being a fixture for 36 years is unforgivable. I don't expect to return. read more

Yay for the dead economy! (Before you all kill me, let me explain.) I've never seen so many mall events since the decline in the economy. Apparently they think it will drive business back into the malls. This particular antecdote is about my casting call for a soap opera in the Boscov's auditorium. The open call ran from about 11AM-1PM, although the employees admitted some people were outside at 6AM! I went with my friend Lisa so it would be more fun (we planned on going shopping at Franklin Mills afterwards). As we headed upstairs to join the line, we noticed this hot guy who was checking me out. "Damn," I said to my friend as we went out of earshot. "I need a piece of that." As it turns out, he was there for the open call too, so I asked him to read lines with us. By the time we neared the end of the line (around 4PM, thats right. 5 WHOLE HOURS later), everyone thought we had come together since we were so comfortable with one another. The whole event was run very well, I thought, and everyone who came was extremely well-behaved (which is sadly is not always the case). The Boscov's employees were also pretty nice, answering any questions and keeping us updated on the status of the lines, auditions, etc. All in all, not a bad day. The mall was dark, the food court nonexistent, and it was only one floor. The only positive was that it was connected to a Boscov's.

I lived in Bensalem and Andalusia for a few years, so I got to know this mall pretty well. It seems better now than it was for a while, and it seems much, much better than Oxford Valley Mall or Springfield Mall that I also knew well. How it's doing so well, I'm not sure. I like that Boscov's is there. I miss Strawbridge & Clothier but that's been quite a while now. Macy's isn't quite as good but they have a reasonable selection and Boscov's fills a different price point in general. Having Target across Rockhill Road may divert customers. At least, it's not been hit with Burlington Coat Factory, which seems to signal the downfall of major malls. The food court seems to have all the Asian Cajun and fake Japanese food you could want. How does Pizza Zeppole stay in business? It's been there as long as Sears, hasn't it? It's great that the mall continues. I hope that they can succeed where others have diminished. read more

Nice mall, very clean and well kept, plenty of parking. Café Riveria cafeteria style restaurant is a very good place to take the family good food and nice size portions it is inside the mall. Food court is also nice not usually crowded. The movie theater is the best well kept and clean, look for early bird specials on the internet. This mall is great in Bensalem, PA. The Reason that the Mall is good because it has Friendly's and Chick fil A. This mall is clean even the Food Court. I tried Philly Steaks and Chinese food inside the mall, On October, I saw Spirit Halloween. The King of Prussia Mall and the Roosevelt Mall has also Spirit Halloween during the month of October. The clothes in the Neshaminy Mall is very popular, The prices are fine and Mall Security were kind. When you pass by the Pennsylvania Turnpike entrance, You see a sign said "Neshaminy." read more

It's a mall....mostly I go here for the movie theater. I come here to shop at Boscov's when they have their sales, otherwise, you'll probably find me at Willow Grove instead. If I lived closer, I would go to Oxford Valley. Shame Manny Brown's were deadbeats, cuz now there's no place for drinks before the movie. This is a one story mall, with several long wings, that has come a long way in the past five years or so. With three major department stores, Sears, Macy's and Boscov's, which are two stories each and over 120 specialty shops, it can serve the public quite well, for your shopping needs. There are numerous restaurants, including a full service Manny Brown's Bar & Grill, a family owned Italian restaurant, serving a full menu of Italian dishes and pizza, Friendly's, a small International Food Court and a Subway. This mall boasts one of the states largest movie theaters, if not the largest, with 24 screens and several concession stands. It's newest baby is a grand Barnes & Nobles. This mall is small, compared to the other local malls. I live within five miles of this mall and when I am forced to shop, it is nice to have it nearby. Parking is easy, with many entrances and it is clean. I do believe there are more and more teenagers hanging around this mall, as of late, but I like to think the theater has brought them in and keeping them entertained and off the streets. Only five or so years back, this mall was destined to close. It was old, it did not have much to offer and it has come back to life. I would certainly miss this, if it had not survived the economic crunch. read more

I don't understand how anyone can hate on the Neshaminy Mall. Must I remind everyone of a little history? What is awesome about the Neshaminy Mall is it's rich and glorious heydey, which makes it almost a historical monument to early pioneering consumerism. Ten things that will forever ingrain the Mall Neshaminy in my heart and mind (although some no longer exist today). 10. The ritzy restaurant above Strawbridge and Clothier (now Macy's) that overlooks the mall. This place was class, and I always remember as a kid having to be on my best behavior when eating there. 9. Space Port. What a wretched hive of scum and villainy. I wasn't allowed in as a child, but those blinking lights and buzzers drew me to it like moths to the flame. As soon as I reached the 'get dropped off at the mall' age, it was all over. 8. Sam Goody. Whatever happened to real record stores? (I know, I know... no more records). 7. Roy Rogers (pre-food court). Booya! There will just never be another Roy Rogers, a staple of Neshaminy Mall's heyday etched in my memory forever. 6. Ok, remember Fluff-n-Stuff? The all-plush animal all-the-time store which was more like one of those kiosks? As a kid I collected every smurf there, and as a teen I bought plush animals for my girlfriends. Great place. 5. Although relatively new in the overall history., the Barnes & Noble is a grand addition to the Mall, and really did away with a whole lot of otherwise dead space (what, like an entrance and a bank?). 4. The animatronic historical dioramas outside of Strawbridge and Clothier (now Macy's). They stopped working (at least regularly) over time, and I'm not even certain they're still there... but they sure were cool. 3. The absence of a Disney Store. Disney stores used to be cool, but suddenly got lame and stopped selling adult stuff. Glad they never set up shop at Neshaminy. 2. The Totem Pole. Seriously, bring back the totem pole... The Neshaminy were a Native American tribe after all, enough with the political correctness. 1. The Indian at the wishing well. Nuff said. The Neshaminy Mall is not a place to be judged simply as a mall, it is the most organic consumerism I have ever known, and a historical landmark that should stand as a testament to the 'intimate' mall, before the mega-mall came along. read more

All malls are dinosaurs waiting for extinction. Neshaminy is no different. Aside from the entertainment value of the AMC theaters, there is little to recommend it. After ruining Main Streets around the world with large parking fields and lots of meaningless choices, they are now suffering the same fate. People are "Malled Out!" We want something more integrated into our communities; part of our social fabric, not something standing alone and uninvolved. The next generation will be synthetic villages. Smaller shopping markets clustered together and surrounded by neighborhoods, schools, parks, hospitals, employment opportunities, and good roads leading to the rebirthed urban centers. It is called by many names, New Urbanism, Post-Modern Cities, Back to the Future, etc. But, it is definitely coming. There are examples of this next utopian model around the world, and if you find one be sure to investigate. I, for one, am excited for the chance to return to a future full of the elements that made earlier societies function efficiently, while adapting the best that technology and science have to offer. read more

I usually only come here for the movies or Aeropostal...I don't think they target all different styles of people. It seems to be a hang out spot for kids. Its not very big and it easily gets crowded. I actually witnessed a robbery here once at Littman Jewlers. Stupid them for opening a jewlery store next to an open food court and an exit. Wasnt the first time and wont be the last. Speaking of the food court, it sucks. There isnt much to choose from. They need some well known places in there like a McDonalds at least. read more

A mall on the downside of its heyday, Neshaminy still has enough to offer to entice the occasional visit. The place is kept clean and the layout isn't a as difficult to navigate as other malls. There are 3 flagship stores (Macy's, Sears, and Boscov's) with the food court in the center and a movie theater and B&N as well. The hours are good, especially during holiday season. Parking isn't optimal during peak times, but could be a whole lot worse. Overall, an average mall to visit for your shopping needs. read more

I used to love this mall, but now... well not so much. When I was a kid this place was considered a really nice mall, but then again when I was a kid Roosevelt Mall was safe to go to alone after school. Times change. It just appears to be really run down now. I think it started going downhill after Franklin Mills opened and took quite a bit of their business away. What I do like is that they are hopeful. They're constantly trying to make improvements- and they finally added a Barnes and Nobel! The movie theater here is pretty nice too, at least considering the others in the area- Oxford Valley, Woodhaven, and Franklin Mills- AMC Neshaminy is definitely the best of the bunch! read more

We drove to this mall because on the website and it's directory it claimed to have an Aladdin's Castle, which was exciting and we hoped for a moderate arcade. There is not one. There is a tiny store space with a few ride on toys and a couple mostly (when we were there) not working ticket games. Not even half the very tiny store space was filled. The mall itself is stuck in a mid 90s decor, half filled with shops and broken vending machines that no one working there knows how to operate. This mall has had few changes in 20 years, I use to remember the see the tall totem poll the was awesome to see and great landmark but they covered it up so much for history for the Indians that lived here once. OK now for the mall so many changes that seem to take away from what Neshaminy Mall was once, I find it out dated also the biggest thing that disgusts me is smokers right outside doors were signs that clearly state NO SMOKING but they do not enforce these rules then why make them, area #4 2 signs state no smoking in this area and yet they put two big ash trays in the middle DUHHHHH!. read more

I went there this Friday. I had something to eat at China Max (reviewed separately). On my way to the food court I noticed a couple of the cart stands were gone. They may have moved, I didn't look. I decided to add some soda to what I got from China Max. A 20oz soda cost me $1.99! The highest price I have seen locally is $1.59, .40 cents more than in Philadelphia. I guess the mall is taking advantage of folks that are shopping in the mall and are a captive audience. read more

Im not sure what to make of this mall. I guess I can call it boring! Theres really not much to do here. They have the basic mall stores such as Gap, Bath and Body, Hottopic and so forth. I do miss Space Port (video games) though. This Time Out has old outdated video games and the crane games are a rip off!! The only good thing here is the movie theater. They do have Imax there. The reviews here are ridiculous. You can't give negative reviews to a mall because there were some rude people in the movie theater (as if they speak for the whole population of the mall) or the price of a soda at one of the food vendors in the mall. The mall is better than Franklin Mills but not as good as Oxford Valley. Oxford ts too far, Franklin Mills is kinda ghetto. Neshaminy lacks better food places inside the mall but the reason for that is because the food vendors in the mall protested against having a popular food chain in the mall. If you go to the Franklin Mills food court (by the movie theater) you will notice that EVERYONE is at McDonalds and all the other vendors are empty. The mall itself has decent stores and probably the best movie theater around here. It's where the locals in NE Philly go because we all know Franklin mills is dirty. read more

Biggest draw is probably the movie theater, which is huge and comfortable - there's also a Barnes and Noble, arcade, FYE and I believe a Vans store for the teen demographic. I have been coming to Neshaminy mall for years and years, it is not my closest mall but this mall used to be THRIVING, it's sad to see, as many malls have, the declining. Loss of stores and less foot traffic. I do enjoy this location and generally visit the mall only when I am seeing a movie or if I need to go to Boscov's or Charming Charlie as neither of my local malls have either of these stores (Willow Grove and Montgomeryville). This mall is huge, like huge - it takes awhile to walk around it, as it is very spaced out. It looks like it also recently lost Macy's which is quite depressing. My favorite stores I have visited in this mall are VANS , seriously go here! I also love the Barnes and Noble here as well as the Charming Charlie and Charlotte Russe and Boscov's . The Boscov's is huge and like I said this is the only location near me. I found a lot of great finds here they have a good range of low- high end but always have reasonable prices. I'd like to see this mall stay around as I hate the disappearance of brick and mortar stores, I think the stores that are here are doing a great job. Their food court doesn't seem to have as many options as I have remembered, but I'm hoping this mall prevails! read more

I returned to this mall on 11/10/18 (Saturday) entering through the Boscov's entrance after a long hiatus specifically to go to Boscov's to pick up a few items at fair price. It seemed like many others did as well as the store was quite busy. The Stepping into the mall, I observed a few new vacancies since last time I visited. For example, the eyeglass store where Macy's used to be is closed as well as the Best Buy Mobile store. Then, I turned the corner and proceeded to the food court to get something to eat as it was lunch time. The food court remains a good value, specifically as it relates to the Chinese and Japanese offerings. Next, I proceeded to head down to Sears, which is closing this location as well as many others as the company is in bankruptcy proceedings and barely holding on by a thread. The banners hanging from the ceiling advertised 40% off, yet the prices were so marked up that the savings did not resonate with me. Naturally, the sad part about this will be all the associates out of work in a few weeks, not to mention yet another department store closing at the mall, joining the shuttered Macy's as yet another casualty of changing times. However, I do not think Sears has been a major drawing power to Neshaminy in many years. All in all, it seems this mall - like many others these days - is fighting a tough battle against online retailers. If you took away Boscov's, Barnes & Noble, and the movie theatre, Neshaminy would be empty even on the weekends as these three businesses are the core drivers of foot traffic for the mall. The reason I gave this updated a review 3 stars is for the memories I retain from decades ago when this mall was a fun place and had many interesting stores when I was a kid. I hope Neshaminy can turn things around and come up with some creative solutions to keep prospering in the years ahead. read more
