Don't go here, especially for service. I've been coming to this Hyundai dealership for years because of the maintenance package I got when I bought my car that pretty much meant I had free oil and filter changes for the lifetime of my vehicle. Every single time I've gone in there for my free oil change, they mysteriously suddenly need to do a couple hundred dollars worth of repairs or maintenance if not a thousand or more. It can be anything from saying that the coolant needs to be flushed (even though I'd had it done recently with an actual mechanic that I know for a fact did the work), to saying my belts all need to be removed and replaced because "they're all cracked and dried up and about to break," even though I'd also had that looked at recently, again by a reputable mechanic, because I know how Hyundai plays things. So I've gotten used to going in, asking for my free oil change, declining a whole bunch of unnecessary repairs, and walking away just fine. Except not this time. Here's the thing, I'm pretty sure the reason they always mysteriously have things that need to be done is because they're on commission at the repair shop and they get away with the bait and switch all the time. But I guess my declining the unnecessary services was too much this time, because mysteriously, my car suddenly had the connection to the muffler split. A relatively harmless thing that sounds awful, and which I'm sure would be a reason to head back on in for a repair. Except I'm certain that those sheisters at the Hyundai intentionally sabotaged my car, given that it was perfectly fine when I went in and mysteriously had a broken muffler within hours. Don't trust these fools. Don't bother, even if it's free. I'm convinced that they're criminals and I'd rather pay my actual, real, completely trustworthy mechanic $35 to change my oil, than to pay nothing at the dealership, waste two hours as they sabotage my car, and then spend $200 fixing that nonsense with someone who I know won't screw me over. I can not say it enough. Don't go here. Don't trust these jerks. If you need any more proof, just hang out in the waiting room for an hour or two and talk to all the people with either the same story, or just quietly watch as they try to pull the bait and switch. I rcvd an email from Springfield Hyundai that I had been pre-approved for an auto loan and that I should make an appointment. I was in the market for a car, but I was leery because this invite came unsolicited and I thought it was a scam! My husband convinced me to give them a chance and make the appointment. I made it, but was careful not to get my hopes up. I was a total cynic! We were greeted by a nice, young man named Dan, who led us to the desk. He seemed sincere and genuinely interested in giving us what we were looking for. I kept waiting for the typical pushy sales pitch to come, BUT he was JUST NICE! Although it's his BUSINESS to sell cars, he made the process enjoyable. He made me feel valued and heard. He didn't push too hard and he restored my trust in the car purchasing process! Brought my car in for check engine light. Informed the service rep that I already pulled the code, provided it, and suggested an oil change first to try to clear it. For next 3 days it was nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone and took an internet sales person to inform me of a power outage on day 3. Day 4, after trying to dupe me into a big ticket job that costs nearly the amount of a new engine, to which I asked for an itemized estimate to get second opinion, they finally did the oil change I originally suggested and cleared the code. No problems since. I would say very poor communication but that would suggest they made any attempt to contact. If it wasn't for me following up, they would have had my car for a week and performed a job that I didn't need. I would suggest taking your car literally anywhere else. The woman from Internet Sales was very nice though and the only one I talked to that seemed to care about me as the customer, despite not being able to do much to help me. read more

As most stealerships they lied and pretended my car needed something that it didn't. I went to get a software update on a recall because my car is so easy to steal because of the way they manufactured it. I was also going to buy a club steering wheel lock but was instead convinced that I actually needed wheel locks on my tires that I was told to stop people from stealing my car and it cost 250. Didn't tell me what they physically were just that my car needed them. I get my car back and not only did I learn that all I bought were overpriced fancy lug nuts that I didn't need whatsoever, they also just stole the air pressure covers off of my tires as well. I asked where they were because they were on there before I dropped the car off and they just shrugged. Stole my money for no reason and stole property off of my car, and it's so funny because I was going to come back and buy a new car from them in the fall and now there's no way that I will ever come back here in my life! read more

Shady place. Does not run the right diagnostics while you're still in warranty and then when warranty runs out and an old problem surfaces, they take no accountability nor does the manufacturer. My car engine could have bet replaced if they reported the oil burning issue to the manufacturer on time, but they kept putting a bandaid on it and never told me this was a known issue. Now I have to go buy a new car because of their negligence. I hold Anthony Falcons responsible and Bob and Stephanie who knew of his negligence but are not doing anything. I was a loyal customer for years, as were my family members. I used to drive 45 mins to get my car serviced here because I thought I should be going to a dealership and getting good parts. Can I give zero stars? Avoid the service center at all costs: dishonest. I called to make an appointment for service, they were able to take me 1.5 hrs later. I specifically asked if there was a diagnostic fee and if it might be covered under warranty, but they told they couldn't answer either over phone but that they would have someone call me before my appointment to discuss?!? Never received a call and as soon as I get there I see signs , clear as day that the is a $140/ hr diagnostic charge. The manager said due to when I bought the car it defintely wasn't under warranty. If I could give zero stars, I would. We received a letter from Springfield Hyundai saying they would buy my dads 2015 Hyundai Genesis. This car used to belong to my mother, who recently passed away, so we were planning on taking the $7,000 hit and getting out of it because we do not need it. After thinking about it, we decided to do it and get it over with. When my father went back to Hyundai, they said that they don't buy cars, they'd only buy it if we bought something else. This is fine, but if we originally told you the entire situation and said i was planning on getting something before the end of the year, Why didn't you say this before? Why did you send us the letter saying you need a Hyundai Genesis on your lot and wanted to buy it? No where in the letter does it say it is contingent on buying another car. I took my car to Sprinfield Hyundai for service because the dealership where I bought it, Piazza Hyundai was so booked they could not give me an appointment for several weeks. I question why they were so "backed up", but did not want to wait because I was told that the problem was potentially dangerous if I continued to drive the car. I had been told by my private mechanic that the shift differential was bad and needed to be replaced. I had been hearing a noise for several months and was told by Piazza that it was tires. I replaced the tires in January and still heard the noise and , in fact, it had gotten worse. I got a quick appointment at Springfield Hyundai and took the car up the night before the scheduled appointment. I waited a few hours beyond my appointment time and didn't hear anything from the service advisor, so I called. It took several calls to get the service advisor Pete Patro on the line, but when I finally did, he told me that a couple of technicians had take the car out on a road test and could not hear any noise. I told him that they must be deaf. At that point, I informed him that I would be up there in the afternoon to go out with one of the technicians for a road test so I could point out the noise. I had to take vacation time to do this as I work quite a distance from the dealership. When I got there, I was told that a technician would be with me shortly. The wait ended up being an hour. When I finally was able to do the road test with the technician, whose name I did not get, he told me that he didn't hear anything except the tires. I continued to drive and kept pointing out the noise and told him it was not the tires and relayed what my private mechanic had told me. He challenged my mechanics diagnostic test. However, no diagnostics were performed by anyone at Springfield. The tech said he was not going to argue with me about the noise. When I got back to the service center, Pete Patro talked with the technician and came out and said they didn't think it didn't need any repairs and asked what if they fixed the problem I reported to them and the noise was still there. I am pretty sure that is their job, not mine and that might mean that there is another problem in addition to the one I reported to them. He mentioned that they would order the part, but I didn't put much faith in those words. This was on a Friday afternoon and on Monday, I called Mr. Patro to confirm that he would be ordering the part and when it might be in. He did not answer and I left a message stating my reason for calling. I received no call back, so I called again on Wednesday. Still no return call. I then called and left a message for the Service Manager, Stacy Miller, with my concerns. She also did not return my call. Needless to say, I gave up and made an appointment with Colonial Hyundai in Downingtown, PA. They gave me an appointment with in days of calling them. I went to their facility and was treated like a valued customer even though I had never been there before. They heard the noise immediately upon driving the car and said it would be fixed that day or the next day. I was given a loaner car in the meantime. Something neither of the other two dealerships were willing to even talk about. Later in the day I received a call from Donna at Colonial saying that they fixed the initial problem, but the car was still making the noise. Donna told me that they found that the transmission was also bad and that it would have to be replaced. They had already gotten the work approved under the warranty and ordered the parts. Unfortunately, the parts would not arrive for several weeks, but I was told that I could keep the loaner car until my car was repaired. My car is a 2019 Hyundai Tucson with about 41,000 miles on it. I am the original owner and keep up with maintenance religiously. I am not sure why the transmission went bad, but am happy that it will be fixed appropriately. I dare to say, that I will never even think about buying anything from either Piazza or Springfield Hyundai. It seems that their service managers and staff are asleep at the wheel. It doesn't matter how good their sales departments are, if you can't get reliable and satisfactory service after the sale. I give both Piazza and Springfield Hyundai no stars (although I had to select at least one start) and Colonial Hyundai 5Plus stars. Buyers beware! read more

I had my 2007 Tuscon in for state inspection in January and was advised that it would not pass due to a large 3" rust hole in the frame - the state will not approve, which I understand. The dealer has exclusively been worked on at the dealer for the last 2 years, I've spent almost $5000 in multiple other repairs and was never given any detail regarding the rust issue, never given a copy of my customary review of the car and was told by the body shop this hole had been there a while and they should have seen it. The Service manager AJ advised me that they only focus on the work required, but yet they do a 32 point inspection? The car had a corrosion recall in 2015 but it seems this part wasn't covered at the time so they are not responsible? Asked me to call Hyundai Corporate, who told me the issue was not a warranty problem and they sell the car to the dealer so they are not able to assist in any way - I have to work with the dealer! AJ was not helpful, Anthony was not helpful. I left a message for the Service Manager only to receive a call from AJ, who told me that Nancy doesn't return calls? Bottom line, my car cannot be driven after 1/31/20 since PA won't allow it on the road, I have no value left in the car after spending almost $5000 in repairs in the last year - that the dealer swore were needed - and basically given an option to "work" with the dealer to trade it in - but why would I buy another car there? I won't do business with their service department any longer, the manufacturer has a history of corrosion problems with their cars, all recalls were due to corrosion problems and I don't want to waste any more time or money for another Hyundai. read more

I had the car serviced there for about a yr. they replaced my engine on my 2011 Tucson with 57K miles and I am grateful to Hyundai America Motors. Later the flywheel needed to be replaced because they broke it installing the engine. Then the tyranny went and they replaced that. The car broke down on a trip out of town and I brought it to another Hyundai dealer. They said many attachments were either not attached or missing like the tranny mount, plenum, exhaust, and the wiring was run poorly. I brought it back and they redid their work again. They also removed a lower belt guard, which protects belts in rain. When I brought it back and complained about the guard they said they couldn't help me. Hyundai couldn't help me because it is an independent franchise. They complained that they could not discipline techs because it costs too much to train them. The lunatics are running the asylum. This place is a pit of ineptitude. They stole not only parts off the car, but my trust. Educated consumer DO NOT GO HERE! read more

1 star is too kind. This may have been my worst experience with any business ever. Do not go here! I took my car in for an oil change. I was immediately greeted by AJ. Who was very friendly and encouraged me to get my air filter replaced. The service was very quick, especially for this place and I was impressed. The only annoying thing was that they kept asking me to give them "yes" and 10's on the survey, which I thought was weird. Fast forward the next day: I received a phone call informing me that there was a recall on my break lights- really you couldn't have told me while i was there? I then fill out a "survey" that they emailed me. I gave them great scores for speed of service and friendliness of staff and an overall score of 6. I gave a lower score for other things like the information provided, the recall and the environment (very dirty), all things that they asked about on the survey. About an hour later, my mom receives a phone call from their manager Steve. Literaly screaming and berating my mother and asking us to "not come back if we aren't happy with their services". He informed my mom that I was "red-flagged" due to negative surveys in the past (i've never filled out a survey for them). Obviously, I was pretty disgusted that someone who works in customer service would have the audacity to call someone and yell about negative scores on a survery. An OPINION BASED SURVEY. I've worked in customer service and negative complaints/reviews are just part of the job. Also, he claimed the recall just came out, but it was online 2 weeks prior to my oil change. Fast forward two weeks: I take my car to the Pacifico Hyundai dealership, because there's no way in hell I'm going back to Springfield. They tell me that I need new break pads and they are "surprised that the other place didn't let me know they were so worn down" and "if I waited they would have started to cut into the roaters." Seriously? Save your time and go to Carousel or Pacifico. read more

This review is for the service station only: I take my Elantra here for routine oil changes and whatnot. The staff is always really nice and they get the job done. Oil changes are a little pricey (I always have a coupon, thankfully). However, I have a gripe for the last time I was there. They tried to get me to pay $120 to have my antifreeze changed. They said they recommend it for every 26,000 miles (My car just hit 26k. Coincidence? I think not.), so I said no thanks and went home and looked up the service recommendations for my car. According to Hyundai, there were no recommendations for an antifreeze change under 30,000 miles. I understand this is a business and they need to make money, but still. Not cool, man. read more

It's easy to buy a car, they bend over backwards. I've now purchased 3 from them over the years. The price was reasonable too but I know how to haggle. The good experience stops there... service is now your turn to bend over backwards! Expect nothing to be covered by warranty. Their service is quick and reasonably competent but you will pay. And pay and pay.... Also, they will start pestering you for service and to trade in your car 6 months after you bought it. Understand this.. you will NEVER get off their email, mail and phone lists. I mean NEVER EVER. I still get letters referencing cars offering me top dollar when I already traded it into THEM. It's nuts. They're nuts. Probably not worth it.. WHile I sat there, he received another call (it was clearly not the first from this female customer) from a pissed off customer. Norman was elusive and non-committal. It SHOULD have been my first sign... Log story short, they did not have my car on the lot. SHowed me one they could get me, negotiated a price and Norman asked for $500 down. I'll have it by Wed - that was last wed. I have no car. THERE IS NO CAR! Norman now cannot remember how to return a phone call. My husband had a total engine failure on his 2017 Hyundai Tucson two weeks ago. 64,000 miles. We have called every day, twice a day, and all the associates can say is 'I don't know,' and that there are delays during the pandemic. I can understand this EXCEPT that my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe ALSO had a total engine failure in March of this year- YES DURING THE PANDEMIC- and West Chester Hyundai replaced the engine in 3 days. Took our 2012 Hyundai herefor annual inspection and a few minor repairs. Had a 9:30 AM appointment and arrived early - 9:15. Inspection was done (including oil change) in about 1 hour while I waited. Took another 90 minutes for repair work. Killed the whole morning - but at least not the entire day. TV in waiting area with coffee and a water cooler. I called the service area hoping I could get my car checked in the middle of the day to get it back by that evening. I was told to bring it in. Everett took care of me and explained the process and was very kind when I explained the importance of getting the car back asap. The car got diagnosed, turned out a major part was covered by the warranty, they also took care of the recall items I didn't know about and suggested a maintenance job that I agreed was a good idea. A couple of hours later, I was on my way...and Everett made sure he said goodbye and told me to reach out anytime even if it's just to answer a question. Now the radio is still not working it's freezing kicking my phone off getting error messages and this is after they supposedly fixed it. My car now sounds like a tow truck. I've contacted corporate and thought they would help I just get the run around. As a customer why am I going through this? Why is Hyundai selling lemons and not being held accountable for their actions. They asked me not to put up pictures or videos, but I wish someone had put up videos and pictures I would not have went to Hyundai. Still waiting for corporate to call me back.
