I've been putting off a big and expensive job of having my SL500 hydraulic suspension system swapped out for coil-overs. This is not something most auto repair shops are willing to undertake but Gallagher's quoted me a fair price and the confidence they could complete the job...two days later it was ready to go! My roadster handles great, and the repair bill was exactly as quoted. So nice to have an honest and reliable service center in a sea of stealerships and dishonest automotive repair shops. read more

This auto service shop is fantastic! My husband and I are going on an 18-hour road trip up and back from Missouri over the next week and we needed to get our car inspected with an oil change to see if it was ready for the long trip. I called the morning of (which I don't recommend you do, I just moved to the area and needed service within short notice) and they took my car in around 9:00 am, and they were done within 45 minutes! The men who work there are also super friendly; they were asking me about my trip while I was waiting. I'm definitely returning to Gallagher's when I need service done. read more

Car went in for oil change; they did not properly cap the oil (which they admitted after the fact), which resulted in all of the oil draining from the car. This left my husband stranded for 2 hours on the side of 176 while he waited for a tow, in 100 degree temps and during a severe thunderstorm. When they fixed the issue, he was told "the car is ready to go" with no offer to make anything right, not even a refund on the oil change, just a promise that a manger would call (which did not happen). He put on my spare right away and said he would get me a new tire as soon as possible. I left without having to pay anything. Dropped off my car here today for a variety of stuff. Forgot my emissions inspection was coming up when I dropped off, called later and not only they were more than accommodating, but they rotated my tires as well without me asking because they caught that there would otherwise be an issue with the tires. Promptly completed, great quality, and most important of all--the price was EXTREMELY fair. Bill is also extremely professional and has great customer service. Definitely coming here again. Car was towed here off of 76 following a significant oil leak and taken to this shop out of blind luck. Mike and this shop were extremely helpful, diagnosed the problem (engine damage unfortunately) and advised me to get the car back to my dealership as it's still very new (2017). They also told me this all had transpired due to shotty work from a recent oil change and advised me to follow up on that hunch. My car was towed from the shop later that day and back to my dealership where his diagnosis confirmed. Gallaghers called me on several occasions- to discuss the problems with the car, best option for getting the problem fixed, making sure he didn't do anything that would void my warranty or ability to pursue damages from the oil change company and he even called to let me know when the tow truck driver had picked up my car. They didn't charge at all for storage or for looking at my car. I would definitely trust this shop and return for service if I lived in the area. I always believe it speaks volumes when professionals give advice that they won't monetarily benefit from. This shop definitely has your best interests in mind and I have really grown to trust them. read more

My tire light came on this morning as I was rushing to get my daughter to the train station at Malvern. Malvern is not our closest train station, but we've been affected by the Septa issues, and that's where we needed to go. Anyway, after making it to the station in time, I went and put air in my tires. I saw that the back tire had a huge bolt/screw in it--very visible. I truly think this bolt could have held together our entire deck! I was wondering what to do now because I didn't think I could drive all day for work (I'm in sales) with this huge thing in my tire. Anyway, I decided to go to Gallagher's. It seemed like a nice local place. The owner was great. Put my car up right away, said I needed a bigger tire plug and repaired it quickly. I was hardly late for work! I told him I was sorry but I wasn't a local but he said it was all good and charged me a very fair price. I was very impressed that I was treated so nice despite the fact that he will probably (hopefully) not be getting my repeat business since I live pretty far away. I would highly recommend Gallagher's. read more
