They also allowed me to pay them over the phone because they saw that I had been a frequent visitor over the last couple of months, and I didn't have my credit card with me when my window broke. They definitely didn't have to do that but did--what a customer courtesy! They also gave me a water while waiting because I had just come from a long run. What more can you ask for! This is one of a handful of small businesses in the area that I actually feel comfortable at. I drive out of my way to get gas here to support them. You should come and see for yourself and hopefully do the same. These guys picked up where Tom and Nick left off--courteous, honest, and hard-working. I have already been to them numerous times for gas, oil changes, inspections, repairs--all of which were handled with care. But the BIG point I want to make here is about the character behind the business. I had some rather extensive repairs done on my car last year. Shortly after which I had to travel to Massachusetts for medical reasons, needing to stay in Massachusetts for surgery and a fairly long PT rehab. During this time I had difficulty with my car. I was told my car needed the same repair John's shop had done on my car...big $$$. I knew it couldn't be true but had no idea what to do. I reached out to John HAUSER'S and John went ABOVE AND BEYOND, helping me trouble shoot, find a reputable garage, and HE called to apprise the garage owner about the case. I have no words!!! I have such respect and gratitude for John's kind, professional, honest, straightforward help!!!! This took time and effort away from his busy day with quite a few different interactions; not only calls with me but researching garages in the area I was in in Massachusetts, but also actually calling and talking with the owner of the garage I ended up taking my car for the service needed. The net result of the repair saved me HUNDREDS of dollars (over a thousand) and a car that's safe to drive back to Pennsylvania in a few weeks! I would give John and John HAUSER'S garage a HUNDRED Yelp stars if I could!!! Exceptional Service…read more I called to set up an appointment for an oil change. I was leaving the country, so i scheduled work to be done about 3 weeks away. Just in case my calendar doesnt remind me or that I forget that I even had it set up to begin with, I had asked them if they were going to give me a courtesy call or a text reminder the week of my oil change. Fast forward to returning from my vacation and they had sent me a text reminding me and to confirm my appointment for said date and time. I responded to their text and that was it, I was ready. I took my vehicle in. I was promptly seen, given an eta and left my key. I just decided to stay in the waiting area anyway because it wouldnt take that look anyway. I helped myself to their complimentary beverages in their fridge and shortly enough I received an email of all the workups my car needed and that the job is done. Note that this is just an inspection and you are not obligated to get the recommendations done immediately or with them- it is just for peace of mind. In the sheet, it lists what is immediate and a cost estimate to make it convenient for me. Whether you want the work done or not, it is up to you. I promptly paid for the oil change and I got to walk away with estimates for the next job and a completed oil change on my vehicle. Keep up the great job.
