I've been to several nail salons in Fresno/Clovis and this one is the best in terms of quality and price. The older lady isn't the friendliest and maybe that's just the way she is but she was fine. No bs small talk and she gets the job done! She did a great job with the gel manicure. It lasted over 3 weeks without a single chip until I had it removed to change the polish. The guy who did my pedi was aight. Also very meticulous and detailed. Shit seriously took forever and it was done at the same time as the mani lol. It's weird cuz she cured each finger under the light. Like would have me put my hand in almost every time she painted a finger... I guess it made it stay on longer? Idk but it worked. They're also really good with nail shaping and cuticle cutting. No real hand massage and the foot massage was kinda weak but meh. Very happy with my gel manicure! I had an awful experience with another salon and was desperate to get them fixed, and I'm so happy I chose Spring Nails to take care of me! Sophia took her time and didn't grind my nails down (a pet peeve of mine). My cuticles have never looked this good. She made sure I was happy with the length and color multiple times. I went in here to get a quick gel polish change. I had an appointment to go to so I allowed an hour for just a gel change. The girl that was working on me was a little slow so I was getting concerned. I asked if I could pay in advance so I could just leave when she was done. The guy said yes and it would be $28.00!! I could not believe it. I usually get a deluxe pedicure with gel for $45-55 but just for a gel change. Won't be back and my toes touched the light a couple of times because the girl kept hitting it with her elbow. Now my left foot looks mangled. Found this place on Yelp. I walked in and found they have about 10 chairs for pedis. It looked busy but I was helped right away. I didn't notice any prices noted but when I sat down I told him I wanted a pedicure. He gave me a few booklets to check out nail colors, I went with a gel. Once selected he told me it would be $35. Not bad I thought. He also offered other services throughout the process and let me know pricing which I appreciated because some places won't tell you. The pedicure overall was nice and relaxing (chair massage). I believe the gentleman's name was Tommy, he was super nice. I felt very comfy here, everyone was chatting and being friendly which I enjoyed. A wedding party walked in shortly after me and so the place got busy. I will definitely be back. I arrived as a walk in and was taken to a chair immediately. This secret designed establishment was busy, but well staffed (and the staff seemed cared for). My first time here and I will definitely return. Eric greeted me and was warm and welcoming. He listened carefully (I have "problem" toenails from having lost the ones on my great toe a few times) and knew a lot about nails and how they grow. The last pedicure I'd had resulted in an infection under the nail bed because the guy didn't listen to me. So, Eric's attentiveness was much appreciated. He did a great pedicure and massage. Moni did my hands. She and Eric were both very friendly and talkative. My manicure was great, too, and I ended up getting a little design on my ring finger. I just have to say I went in here again today after being out of town for a while and read K.A.R.'s review and was appalled. I have never, in all of my years going here, have EVER seen a person get a "15 minute" pedicure. These people really take their time, and I usually cannot get out of there within an hour! Also, the guy is always the one who does my nails, and he is a really nice man who does his work well. It is offensive what this person wrote, which leads me to believe she is writing so some other nail salon can take their business. Look at the rest of the reviews and tell me this doesn't sound fishy! One more thing: Last time I wrote, no one in town had gels, and now it seems like everyone does. But I just have to say, I don't think anyone in town can beat out the $22 price. Plus, the quality is superb. Yesterday, I got my $27 french shellac and I'm so sad I have to leave Clovis! Just returned from the second worst pedicure I've had in Clovis. And I went here in the first place on all of the 5 star reviews. Thanks Yelpers. Pro: * cheap Cons: * screwed up the appointment, which was for two people and they recorded it for only one, so we had to take it in turns; * awful chemical smells permeate the place; * I explained to the technician that I didn't give two shits about the oils and "massage" and the polish. I wanted: 1. my nails trimmed neatly and buffed down to an even height; 2. my callous removed; 3. my cuticles and the area around my toes trimmed thoroughly, and 4. the dead skin sloughed off my feet and ankles. All of that took the technician less than 15 minutes to complete, which told me he didn't give a tinker's damn about what the customer (me) asked for, he was going to give me what his manager considers a pedicure. Which in Clovis apparently means cuting toenails and then spending an hour slathering cheap oils all over the customer's feet and legs because Spring Spa and Nails is the second joint to pull this stunt. He told me he was done, but I refused to leave the chair until he'd at least pretended to attend to the heels of my feet because a pedicure includes working on the heels, too, not just the sides and bottoms. So after my 15-minute pedicure I sat up at the front waiting for my friend to finish up, and I felt my right toe burning. The idiot pumiced the bottom of my toe until it bled! I started inspecting my feet, and I noticed that 1/2 of my nails were razor sharp, my heels were as rough as before the pedicure, I could slough off great wads of dead skin from the back of my feet and ankles, and my pinkie toes were completely unbuffed and thick, like they'd never been touched. And my cuticles looked as if they hadn't been touched. There was still dead skin hanging off them and everything. I had to come home and wash off the sticky strawberry-scented lotion he slathered all over my legs (I dug smelling like that crap when I was 12, but now that I'm an adult, not so much) and didn't rub in, which in turn stained my dress. And I just spent the past 30 minutes cleaning up his half-assed job on my toenails and cuticles. And there's a Bandaid staunching the bleeding on my right toe. Which will probably take two weeks to heal up. I mean, who in their right mind thinks it's Okay to take a pumice to non-calloused skin? What a flippin' disaster and a great waste of my time and money. If you want to pay $25 for someone to rub cheap oils all over your feet and legs, make a mess of the clothes you're wearing, and walk out smelling like a stripper, you've found the place. If you want someone to actually clean you feet, clean your nails and toes, remove dead skin, remove callouses correctly, file and buff your nails properly, in other words give you a damned pedicure, go anywhere but this joint. read more

Review on cost alone: I called to find out the cost of a regular Mani pedi without polish since I was new in town. At $32, higher than the San Francisco Bay area and southern CA but cheaper than the $40, $38, and $35 quoted at 3 other places. I booked an appointment for a deluxe gel pedicure,I got Sophia who I just loved! She went out of her way to make sure I enjoyed the process every step of the way. I will definitely be returning to see her next time I need a pedicure. Not rushed at all. I honestly felt obligated to write a review about this place. I needed a simple gel manicure which took over two hours. Although Tom was a nice man, his attention to detail was awful. Although I pointed out several times the smeared gel polish leftover on my nails, he constantly neglected my request to clean it up. He insisted that it would be fixed, but obviously it was not. To my disappointment, I honestly believe this place does not deserve the reviews it has received. Adding in another two cent, immediately the day afterwards I went to another salon to get my nails fixed. Although this does not directly relate to my nails, I am very sensitive to smells and it was clear that he was a heavy smoker. You know, the crazed, kinda stabby look of a stay at home mom who has had too many days in a row of toddler insanity and may or may not have just walked out of her house, abandoning her children with their sick father because one more moment would have resulted in so many tears. All the tears. So, I thank the wonderful employees here for welcoming me to their oasis, even though I arrived after closing. And thank you for removing my calluses. My toes look pretty. Although what I probably need is a month at the beach, I do feel a lot less stabby and I think I can probably return home and fix food for people I now remember I love. Not all heroes wear capes. Nothing but positive things to say! I've had a lot of my plate and I just wanted to relax and get treated with a friend of mine. Eric was running behind with another client but still made sure I was okay while I waited. He's just the best around. We chatted for a bit and since it wasn't my first go, I gave him a bit of creative freedom (three days before my wedding)! He not only did my toes with great attention to detail, but I love my acrylic manicure! The ombré is so unique and he even put little rhinestones on them.
