Our family has been helping an elderly disabled neighbor without family who has struggled since his wife died a few years ago. Cleaning his home in anticipation of his discharge from hospitalization, we discovered several closets full of dirty laundry apparently accumulated since his wife died. Apparently his physical limitations prevented him from addressing the laundry and it just built up. The resulting more than two truckloads of laundry was overwhelming. I'm sure where to go for a solution, I contacted my friends at Star Cleaners. I was overwhelmed by the response. Not only do they have a great laundry service, they charitably arranged a substantial discount that I can only hope is breakeven for the services. Certainly the service wasn't reduced in anyway. The laundry had been sitting for a long while, contained some dirt that many cleaners would be reluctant to handle, and in many cases required extra treatment and care to remove stains, mildew, and other issues. Despite these challenges, the Star Cleaner family provide Cadillac service salvaging virtually all of the linens, dry cleaning, clothes, and other laundry with the same meticulous care and detail as one would expect for much valued antique wedding dress or a priceless designer gown.
