After hiking for two weeks straight, I needed to tune up my feet with a pedi. I saw good reviews of Splash here and it's right by my office, so I booked a $25 spa pedi. Hiroko did a great job and the salon is very comfortable. I'll go back. read more

Came over an hour and a half before closing and didn't really want to take me. Had also called before and asked if they were taking walk-ins and they said yes. On arrival, said it would be a 40-minute wait; waited patiently and service was rushed. There's also nail polish on my toe (the skin not the nail and similar things that I have noticed or had to point out to be fixed). Also, the employee was not wearing a mask. This review isn't about wait time but about service and experience. read more

Have been there twice. The first time was wonderful with Bethany doing a perfect pedicure and setting up the massage chair for a very relaxing experience. The second time was a nightmare. Stephanie was distracted, "spacy", complained at having to be at work on her day off, couldn't make the massage chair work right (admitted it baffled her), barely trimmed my nails, left them rough at the tops, and left one incorrectly trimmed at the edge causing an ingrown nail. After two days, my toenails were scraping on the floor. I was not able to get back to ask for a redo for more a couple of weeks. When I returned I simply requested a redo with a quiet explanation of what needed to be done and why. I expected a courteous, professional response, especially since it was evident what the problem was. Stephanie began arguing and defensively responding that nails should not be cut short, etc. She was also making faces the whole time indicating how shocked she was, how wrong I was, and continuing to make a dramatic scene before all of the other clients there. I asked for the name of the owner but all Stephanie would say is that "the owner is not here." I asked, quietly again, for Bethany to redo the pedicure but Stephanie just continued to make disdainful faces so I left. Before this upsetting experience I would have given the salon five stars. read more

I absolutely love coming here. Staff is great, prices are great, quality amazing. If I could afford one of their pedi thrones to have in my house I would. They accept appointments or walk ins. Janet is my favorite for pedis and Stephanie for when I get my eye brows. read more

I'm new to the area and this was my second time coming. The first experience was great which is why I came back but the lady who did my pedicure the first time was on pregnancy leave. This time coming in, I more than likely won't be back. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly but the experience I had the Ruby was horrible. I knew they would be closing in 35 minutes from when I got there so I decided to to the simple $25 basic spa pedicure. Because I know polish comes off me easily I got the gel polish and asked if she could do a pumpkin face design on my big toes. She said yes. The first thing that happened was I asked her not the trim my nails just to shape them and she started trimming them and I repeated myself, after the first foot I had to let her do the second one so they could be even but they weren't. One toe was cut at an angle. Anyways as she starts to apply the gel polish I can see that she is struggling to where I have to point out where she is missing whole parts of the nail on each side. I try to swallow my pride but as she attempted 3 times to do a pumpkin face I laughed in horror as she clearly didn't know how and that's all she had to say from the beginning. I had to tell her it was ok and not to worry about it. She blamed in on the polish but really she just didn't know how and that's ok. She quickly slapped on some oil on my skin and we were done. I get to the counter and she said it was $45. I've never paid $20 for gel polish! Especially with the way it came out lol but I paid because I got a service even if it was horrible. I even tipped her $10 because we were there until 7:15p. But lesson learned. I'm sure my kid has painted my toes better and I will be looking for another shop with more experience. read more

Splash Nails and Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I took my daughter to get a pedicure on her 16th bday. The lady that did her pedicure was really rude and made my daughter feel uncomfortable. We got the impression from her like she was being bothered. From reading all the other reviews I thought this would be a nice place to bring my daughter. Im not sure if the lady was having a bad day or what and I believe this lady was one of the owners...We will take our business elsewhere. read more

If I am in Tucson I go to Splash Nail N Spa. Brandon L. always does my nails and he is always amiable and competent. Whenever I go there the staff is personable, the salon is clean, the service is great, and so is the price. I can't imagine what more a person could ask for!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I love this place. I travel 17 miles one way just to go and get my nails done. The staff is amazing, the salon is always so clean, and there is no acrylic smell from the nails. The massage chairs are amazing while getting my pedicure done. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good service, great quality, and a clean environment. read more

The salon was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly but a little over priced. I got the gel manicure and a week later they are already peeling. Probably won't go back just because it's more expensive then other places. read more

The people working there were super nice and friendly, the facility was very clean and organized, and they did a great job.

DO NOT Get your eyebrows waxed here!!!!!! Complete botch job. I have two uneven eyebrows now that are way too thin. She even preceded to tell me that my eyebrows are uneven and I should tell people that. That's why one is straight and one is arched. NO!!! You made them that way Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience. read more

So I just left this place. I asked for a simple mani and color change on my toes. The price menu stated 13 for mani and 10 for toes. I confirmed price when I sat down. At the end the woman tried to charge 40$. They charged 10 to do a nail trim with color change. I have never been charged a fee for a nail trim. Most salons do it along with the color change. So color change ended up being 20$ then she charged 17 for simple mani when it was clearly written on menu that it is 13$. Then there was a charge for removing gel polish. Again I was not told of this charge. I'm so sad. Just a poor teacher trying to get a inexpensive treat. And it ends up costing $38. For a really bad mani/ pedi. My nails are bumpy and tips are rough and scratchy. Ugh! read more

I went to many salons after first moving here last summer, with not so great results. I decided to try this salon which was close to my house and was very glad I did. They don't rush through the process, which many times happens, so you don't end up with nails that are not filled completely or being burned by the drill. Brandon and Stephanie both do a great job. Everyone is very friendly and you can make appointments on line. The atmosphere is very inviting and the salon is very clean. This is my new salon and I will keep coming back. read more

First of all was disappointed because on their website they state that the use disposable liners in the bowls. Ahh unless they are invisible this is incorrectly advertised. I told Janet that I wanted the tropical pedicure. When I checked out total was much lower than expected, Joe then told me he just did a basic pedicure. I also told Janet that I wanted nail art again was never communicated. I would have appreciated what we discussed communicated After I realized it pedicure was done and too late to do anything about it. Polish was a bit sloppy, will not be back. Which was disappointing because this was not the typical strong smelling salon, and the nail techs actually speak English. read more

I love this salon. They do a great job. I had pulled off my acrylic nails at home and severely damaged my nails. The owner actually did my nails, fixed them and made them look great with gel nails. I'm very impressed. I went back for a pedi 2 days later and Val did an excellent job! I'm more than happy with the service and how friendly and sweet she was. Way to go Splash nails. She also suggested that I bring in Nail Art photos from Pinterest that she will duplicate on my nails. I'm super excited! Thank you Val! read more

This was my second time coming after a good initial visit. My first manicure lasted 3 days but my nails and hands looked nice. I tried the dip powder today and did not get a full manicure but just got my nails filed and dipped. Unfortunately I'm less than impressed with the results. The woman who did my nails and was very nice but I'm not sure if she had done this technique before I came in today. The sides of my nails are missing powder or have a noticeably thin layer and one of my nails has a small hair in it. It's just not worth $35 before tip for something I could do myself. read more

I went on a Monday at 5:30, they close at 7:00. They were blatantly Inconvenienced I walked in. While my service was great and the message was perfect. I really like my tech but they were mopping and didn't greet me. It was uncomfortable. If you go here make an appointment for sure and preferably the early afternoon. You can also buy your own tools and they will store them for you. I'm sure it was an off day. It looks nice and clean but not very friendly. I don't think I'll go back. read more

Showed up as a walkin customer on a Tuesday morning. The staff were very very nice and the place was very clean. In the future I'll be returning on the weekends, and they told me it's best to make an appointment to do so. read more

Very cute location with really friendly staff. I highly recommend seeing Val for waxing! She is super meticulous about eyebrows and did a fantastic job. read more

The wait was fairly long and while I was getting my nails done the woman doing them kept getting up and doing other things. I understand salons get busy but it was kind of ridiculous. She also rushed through my full set fill. I tried this place for the first time today and not sure if I will return. My fill was honestly pretty pricey. My usual salon provides way better service and the salon is overall cleaner and it's only 27$ for a fill. read more

Amazing nail salon, I've never had a bad experience here and they do acrylics so well. They really cater to what style you want rather than assuming you want what everyone gets. It's awesome! read more

Came in on a Saturday morning and was taken right in. I was truly pleased with the service and staff. Emily did a great job with pedicure and my gel manicure. She took her time and was a queen with the details. I will definitely be coming in again and soon. Thanks Emily! read more

I was looking for a place near my new house and I just happened to stroll in here. I had a manicure, pedicure, and a brow wax. They were so nice and welcoming and they did an exceptional job! Stephanie and Katrina were serving me and I can't wait to come back and have them do my nails again! :) read more

Good clean fun. My nails look great and I have received tons of compliments. Thank you so much for making me look beautiful!

Big thank you to Stephanie and Frankie! We walked in and were greeted and seated immediately. Shop was clean and service were top notch. Definitely my new nail spot! Thanks ladies. Keep up the great work! read more

I went in to have a pedicure and the gel changed on my hands. Well the nail polish for my toes was deluged with something so the color is very weak and you can see through in some spots. The polish on my nails are bad and there are bubbles all over my nails. There are clear spots where there should be polish. The girl doing my nails never introduced herself, and complained about not being able to see very well. The lighting is horrible over the nail counters and I think that's why most of the mistakes weren't caught. It's been about 3 days and my nails are peeling. Over priced for crappy polish. I won't be going back there again which sucks because the girl was nice. read more

Very courteous staff, super clean salon and great price. I got a deluxe pedi which turned out nicely, and I have problem skin (so dry!). The tech did a thorough job and my feet felt good. Then I got a fill, which the owner did. He was also attentive and friendly. I returned an hour later as I had chipped my toenail polish and they re-did the polish quickly and without making me feel badly for the mishap. $53 for both services, not including tip. read more

The salon is very clean. Most of the people working there are nice. However the female owner is horrible. She is rude to the clients and is extremely unhappy. In over 6 years that I went there she never smiled. If it wasn't for her I would still be going there. read more

Stephanie was very helpful and had great customer support regarding my situation. I also accidentally ordered a gift card meant for the Seattle area but ended up being for the Tucson area. This confusion needs to be eliminated because this has happened to other people too besides me. While I was pleased to have most of my $ refunded, I still was out $30 for the mix up (which was my mistake at the end of the day, but was hoping for a full refund). I am hopeful that Splash Nails and Spa will correct this location confusion regarding their online gift certificates so others are not affected by this mix up in the future. read more

I wouldn't even want to give them a 1 but I had too. I went in to get a new set of acrylic nails with a gel polish, The woman doing my nails used way to big of nails on me which made me feel like I had fat fingers. Which I don't have and i don't have big nails. When she put on the acrylic she did a horrible job. It was clumpy and bumpy. My nails looked so thick is was horrible. Then when she did the Gel polish she put so much polish on it that there were bumps and my nails looked horrible and my nails looked like Spatulas Literally.... Then when I went to the counter to leave. She charged me $48 dollars for acrylic nails with Gel polish. Highway robbery. This place is way over rated. They overcharge for there service. ****DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE AT THIS PLACE HORRIBLE SERVICE **** read more

Friendly and fabulous! I visited yesterday and had a wonderful time. I called up for an appointment just an hour before, the team fitted me in super quickly even though the online booking didn't show an appointment for a few hours! The nail salon is immaculate and modern and Kathy was a joy! My pedicure was relaxing and Kathy had me giggling with her fun sense of humor. I tried shellac for the first time for my manicure and my nails are shiny and great. Kathy is a true expert and her customer service was professional and warm. Thanks Kathy, see you again soon! read more

I walked in one afternoon for a quick eyebrow wax. The shop was a little busy but not slammed so I decided to wait. After waiting, the lady that waxed me was very unfriendly and very obviously rushed through it. After the redness went down I found spots that she missed. I understand that I was a walk in, but also a paying customer. I am very disappointed that I spent $12.00 plus a tip on eyebrows that I had to fix later. read more

Splash came highly recommended so I gave it a try. First off, this place is run by an angry, rude dragon lady named Stephanie. I had the luck of getting her as my nail tech. Oh joy! She was snapping at her employees in front of me and telling them that "she was about to flip out on them". She didn't speak to me at all as she aggressively pushed back my cuticles and nipped them so close I was sure I was going to bleed. I opted for a French gel manicure. When she finished, I had white all over my skin and the white lines on my nails were wobbly and uneven. I asked her to get the white off my skin and she told me it would come off on its own. Wow, really dragon lady?!! I mine as we'll let my 3 year old niece paint my nails for me and let the polish on my skin "come off on its own". $37 later, my nails look awful and I'm still reeling over the total lack of customer service. Don't waste your time, money, or good mood! read more

I normally go somewhere on the south side for my pedicures but I had all of my errands to run in this area so I decided to stop in at Splash. Not gonna lie, I'm always weary of trying new places and kind of felt like I was cheating on my usual spot. That feeling went away QUICK! I was welcomed by Breanna who ended up being my technician as well. She was extremely careful and thorough. I'm particularly sensitive in the middle of my foot (which I always mention during my pedicures). She is AWESOME because while scraping/filing(?) the bottoms of my feet, I wasn't overcome with the tickles like I usually am! You don't know how big a deal that is for me, but let me tell you, it's HUGE! My toes nails are the perfect length and looking cute again! I would happily recommend Brianna and the kind ladies at Splash to my friends. I may even just start making the drive over here and make this my new regular spot. Thanks Brianna! read more

I really love this nail salon. Everyone is so friendly and I never feel rushed. What's really great is that I don't usually request any one nail person because everyone does a good job. Probably the most important factor is that it is also very clean which always makes me me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this salon. read more

Such a great experience! They greeted you and welcomed you in. Had nice conversation throughout my pedicure and felt they appreciated my business. Other employees without customers were still busy working and not just lazy on their phones. They definitely appreciate their workplace and it was very clean and well kept. read more

Stephanie was very helpful. I accidentally ordered a gift card from here but I live in Seattle. I was meaning to buy it from a salon named Splash nails in Seattle but clicked the wrong one. After calling them a couple time and speaking to Stephanie she told she would refund my gift card! Which they don't normally do by the way. She was very helpful and I really appreciate still having to money to get my mom a pedicure here in Seattle. Thanks Stephanie! read more
