Came over an hour and a half before closing and didn't really want to take me. Had also called before and asked if they were taking walk-ins and they said yes. On arrival, said it would be a 40-minute wait; waited patiently and service was rushed. Have been there twice. The first time was wonderful with Bethany doing a perfect pedicure and setting up the massage chair for a very relaxing experience. The second time was a nightmare. Stephanie was distracted, "spacy", complained at having to be at work on her day off, couldn't make the massage chair work right (admitted it baffled her), barely trimmed my nails, left them rough at the tops, and left one incorrectly trimmed at the edge causing an ingrown nail. After two days, my toenails were scraping on the floor. I was not able to get back to ask for a redo for more a couple of weeks. When I returned I simply requested a redo with a quiet explanation of what needed to be done and why. I expected a courteous, professional response, especially since it was evident what the problem was. Stephanie began arguing and defensively responding that nails should not be cut short, etc. She was also making faces the whole time indicating how shocked she was, how wrong I was, and continuing to make a dramatic scene before all of the other clients there. I asked for the name of the owner but all Stephanie would say is that "the owner is not here." I asked, quietly again, for Bethany to redo the pedicure but Stephanie just continued to make disdainful faces so I left. I'm new to the area and this was my second time coming. The first experience was great which is why I came back but the lady who did my pedicure the first time was on pregnancy leave. This time coming in, I more than likely won't be back. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly but the experience I had the Ruby was horrible. I knew they would be closing in 35 minutes from when I got there so I decided to to the simple $25 basic spa pedicure. Because I know polish comes off me easily I got the gel polish and asked if she could do a pumpkin face design on my big toes. She said yes. The first thing that happened was I asked her not the trim my nails just to shape them and she started trimming them and I repeated myself, after the first foot I had to let her do the second one so they could be even but they weren't. One toe was cut at an angle. Anyways as she starts to apply the gel polish I can see that she is struggling to where I have to point out where she is missing whole parts of the nail on each side. I try to swallow my pride but as she attempted 3 times to do a pumpkin face I laughed in horror as she clearly didn't know how and that's all she had to say from the beginning. I had to tell her it was ok and not to worry about it. She blamed in on the polish but really she just didn't know how and that's ok. She quickly slapped on some oil on my skin and we were done. I get to the counter and she said it was $45. I've never paid $20 for gel polish! Especially with the way it came out lol but I paid because I got a service even if it was horrible. I even tipped her $10 because we were there until 7:15p. But lesson learned. I'm sure my kid has painted my toes better and I will be looking for another shop with more experience. read more

I love this place. I travel 17 miles one way just to go and get my nails done. The staff is amazing, the salon is always so clean, and there is no acrylic smell from the nails. So I just left this place. I asked for a simple mani and color change on my toes. The price menu stated 13 for mani and 10 for toes. I confirmed price when I sat down. At the end the woman tried to charge 40$. They charged 10 to do a nail trim with color change. I have never been charged a fee for a nail trim. Most salons do it along with the color change. So color change ended up being 20$ then she charged 17 for simple mani when it was clearly written on menu that it is 13$. Then there was a charge for removing gel polish. Again I was not told of this charge. I'm so sad. Just a poor teacher trying to get a inexpensive treat. And it ends up costing $38. For a really bad mani/ pedi. My nails are bumpy and tips are rough and scratchy. Ugh! read more

This was my second time coming after a good initial visit. My first manicure lasted 3 days but my nails and hands looked nice. I tried the dip powder today and did not get a full manicure but just got my nails filed and dipped. Unfortunately I'm less than impressed with the results. The woman who did my nails and was very nice but I'm not sure if she had done this technique before I came in today. The sides of my nails are missing powder or have a noticeably thin layer and one of my nails has a small hair in it. It's just not worth $35 before tip for something I could do myself. read more

I told Janet that I wanted the tropical pedicure. When I checked out total was much lower than expected, Joe then told me he just did a basic pedicure. I went to many salons after first moving here last summer, with not so great results. I decided to try this salon which was close to my house and was very glad I did. They don't rush through the process, which many times happens, so you don't end up with nails that are not filled completely or being burned by the drill. Brandon and Stephanie both do a great job. I love this salon. They do a great job. I had pulled off my acrylic nails at home and severely damaged my nails. The owner actually did my nails, fixed them and made them look great with gel nails. I went on a Monday at 5:30, they close at 7:00. They were blatantly Inconvenienced I walked in. While my service was great and the message was perfect. I really like my tech but they were mopping and didn't greet me. It was uncomfortable. If you go here make an appointment for sure and preferably the early afternoon. You can also buy your own tools and they will store them for you. I'm sure it was an off day. It looks nice and clean but not very friendly. I don't think I'll go back. read more

Very courteous staff, super clean salon and great price. I got a deluxe pedi which turned out nicely, and I have problem skin (so dry!). The tech did a thorough job and my feet felt good. Then I got a fill, which the owner did. He was also attentive and friendly. I went in to have a pedicure and the gel changed on my hands. Well the nail polish for my toes was deluged with something so the color is very weak and you can see through in some spots. The polish on my nails are bad and there are bubbles all over my nails. There are clear spots where there should be polish. The girl doing my nails never introduced herself, and complained about not being able to see very well. The lighting is horrible over the nail counters and I think that's why most of the mistakes weren't caught. It's been about 3 days and my nails are peeling. Over priced for crappy polish. Stephanie was very helpful and had great customer support regarding my situation. I also accidentally ordered a gift card meant for the Seattle area but ended up being for the Tucson area. This confusion needs to be eliminated because this has happened to other people too besides me. While I was pleased to have most of my $ refunded, I still was out $30 for the mix up (which was my mistake at the end of the day, but was hoping for a full refund). I am hopeful that Splash Nails and Spa will correct this location confusion regarding their online gift certificates so others are not affected by this mix up in the future. read more

I went in to get a new set of acrylic nails with a gel polish, The woman doing my nails used way to big of nails on me which made me feel like I had fat fingers. Which I don't have and i don't have big nails. When she put on the acrylic she did a horrible job. It was clumpy and bumpy. My nails looked so thick is was horrible. Then when she did the Gel polish she put so much polish on it that there were bumps and my nails looked horrible and my nails looked like Spatulas Literally.... Then when I went to the counter to leave. She charged me $48 dollars for acrylic nails with Gel polish. Highway robbery. This place is way over rated. I normally go somewhere on the south side for my pedicures but I had all of my errands to run in this area so I decided to stop in at Splash. Not gonna lie, I'm always weary of trying new places and kind of felt like I was cheating on my usual spot. That feeling went away QUICK! I was welcomed by Breanna who ended up being my technician as well. She was extremely careful and thorough. I'm particularly sensitive in the middle of my foot (which I always mention during my pedicures). She is AWESOME because while scraping/filing(?) the bottoms of my feet, I wasn't overcome with the tickles like I usually am! You don't know how big a deal that is for me, but let me tell you, it's HUGE! My toes nails are the perfect length and looking cute again! Friendly and fabulous! I visited yesterday and had a wonderful time. I called up for an appointment just an hour before, the team fitted me in super quickly even though the online booking didn't show an appointment for a few hours! The nail salon is immaculate and modern and Kathy was a joy! My pedicure was relaxing and Kathy had me giggling with her fun sense of humor. I walked in one afternoon for a quick eyebrow wax. The shop was a little busy but not slammed so I decided to wait. After waiting, the lady that waxed me was very unfriendly and very obviously rushed through it. After the redness went down I found spots that she missed. Splash came highly recommended so I gave it a try. First off, this place is run by an angry, rude dragon lady named Stephanie. I had the luck of getting her as my nail tech. Oh joy! She was snapping at her employees in front of me and telling them that "she was about to flip out on them". She didn't speak to me at all as she aggressively pushed back my cuticles and nipped them so close I was sure I was going to bleed. I opted for a French gel manicure. When she finished, I had white all over my skin and the white lines on my nails were wobbly and uneven. I asked her to get the white off my skin and she told me it would come off on its own. Wow, really dragon lady?!! I mine as we'll let my 3 year old niece paint my nails for me and let the polish on my skin "come off on its own". $37 later, my nails look awful and I'm still reeling over the total lack of customer service.
