Have ordered from this place on several occasions over the years and on this trip east was dying for some good pizza and they met expectations. Now in the past it was ok since I was so use to great pizza in NJ and NY especially Pizza from Bruno's in Clifton, noted in the top 75 nationally. Ordered a round pie and Sicilian. Both had crispy crusts and amply seasoned sauce, no need to add more, nice cheese Stretch. Ordered the same a week later and the finished goods were consistent.

    Raw dough...again

Man...this place is so hit or miss. We've had great experiences, but they've easily been out numbered by the poor experiences. Today was the third time we've ordered takeout pizza that was woefully undercooked...like raw dough undercooked; toppings sliding off; pretty much inedible....and I simply don't have the energy to drive back out there and complain. I'm going to try and recook it myself. Sorry for the bad review...I want to like you guys.

    Spizzico my new spot!

A great local pizzeria. Their pizza is good and crisp. Italian sub was good as well. Quick service, and a nice atmosphere.

The staff from the hostess to the servers and bartenders are very much people friendly and always smiling. You have a question about a wine ask the on staff wine connoisseur, I have been there many times and he has never suggested a bad wine, I have even changed up the type of wine I wanted and he picked the perfect one. The food is so delicious it's hard to explain. I have had the chicken Marsala (my favorite) and pizza's, but tonight I tried their Lasagna for the first time...Oh My Goodness, was that was the best lasagna I have ever had, I can't explain it, it's simple not much ingredients, kind of plain but it was so delicious!! I cannot wait to go back and enjoy it again. Would I recommend you visit the restaurant?....ABSOLUTELY you will not be disappointed!

You could go to Carpaccio or even Lewnes for the price of this place. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and at the end of the night, they added 22% gratuity on everything, including the wine bottles (which is totally unacceptable, you don't pay a % of the gratuity for a bottle). Then added a 3.5-% processing fee. My daughter got a kids meal and they seemed to have figured out how to charge $16 for it instead of $9 like the other kids meals. Our bill was double what we were expecting and the food did not match the prices. It was fine but definitely nothing special.

From the roadside, you might never guess that this unassuming spot is actually a top-notch restaurant, let alone a perfect choice for a romantic night out. Tucked away in a more residential area, it's a delightful surprise that proves great dining doesn't always announce itself loudly. The food was exceptionally fresh and absolutely delicious. Every dish tasted thoughtfully prepared, with high-quality ingredients that truly shine. It's clear that Cafe Mezzanotte takes pride in using locally sourced food and wine, and that commitment comes through in both flavor and presentation. Each bite felt refined yet comforting--exactly what you hope for in a memorable dinner. Our experience was made even better by our waitress, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever being overbearing. Her warm personality added to the relaxed, intimate atmosphere and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. Inside, the restaurant is beautifully decorated--elegant, cozy, and inviting. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. There's also a very nice bar area, ideal if you're stopping by just for drinks with friends or arriving early for a cocktail before dinner. Practical details are a bonus here: there's plenty of parking available, and while reservations are offered, they aren't strictly required. All in all, Cafe Mezzanotte is a hidden gem--an outstanding dining experience in an unexpected location. Whether you're planning a romantic evening or a relaxed night out with friends, this place is absolutely worth a visit. P.S. I forgot to take pictures as when the food arrived I just dug right in! I always get the seeded roll and I always add red hots. BOTH are awesome... that seeded roll is the bomb and they add a healthy spread of spicy red hots which I love. All the portions of everything was perfect. * NOTE - They have a sign saying they are open until 2:30AM on weekends, but I came by at 2:AM and was told "PASTA ONLY, we're shutting down the sub line..." We don't come here for pasta. We come for sandwiches. If you can't serve one at 2:30AM, close earlier. What's the point? Who leaves a bar at 2:AM and thinks about a reheated slab of pasta? I can get that at home. Make me a cheeesesteak!! For my Italian and my Capo special, I asked for hot peppers and got an appropriate healthy portion. It had just enough onions on it for flavor but not so I tasted bites of onion. The fresh high quality cold cut meat flavors came through great. Both sandwiches were superb. I personally liked the Italian better, but if you're a true lover of Italian meats you have to get the Capo Special. The Cheesesteak is also legit. I had it once with Prov and once with American. Even though the provolone has a nice cheese pull, I do prefer American on a cheesesteak. I like my steaks with just cheese, onions and red hots. If you like it that way you have to order the standard steak and say "no peppers, add red-hots." By default they put peppers on it. There are several sandwiches I still want to try, in addition to some pasta dishes they have. However, I think my next sammy will be the Roast Pork or the Meatball sub. * The only downside is the price. A large sandwich on a seeded roll will cost you $18ish, plus tip, which is $21 for a sandwich. That is a lot. However, the small (half?) sandwich is $14.50 so you might as well get the large and take half home even if you are not finishing it. It'd be cool if they had a sandwich of the day on special, so you could get a large for $15 or something. But they do not. That said, maybe you get what you pay for with price because the sandwich is QUALITY and it is CONSISTENT. I have eaten there when the owner is present or late night when it's just younger staff working. Sandwiches have been the same both times. There is good training and appreciation for quality. I hope that stays. If the quality stays I'll keep coming back. They need to add some accessible napkins, water and bottles of hot sauce. A few misses that would make my visit more comfortable. They can also offer "For Here" or "To Go" options. They make everything to go which means they at least waste a bag each time I eat in house. If they're closed or crowded, don't overlook the OGs- The Big Cheese for another great Italian in town or Pip's for a cheesesteak. Not to take anything away from CAPO though! They have both sammies and you won't be disappointed. Just saw that they are now open until 2:30AM on Friday and Saturday! That is awesome. We now have TWO late night food stops in town; Capo and Secret Spot Pizza.
