Grandma Pie - half plain. Half pepperoni & roasted pepper. It's a thinner Sicilian that's cooked crisp.

We eat here often. Eat in sometimes. Pick up occasionally. Door dash a bunch. And I get a slice or two of cheese heated up anytime I'm in the area. It's the best pizzeria in Annapolis. Hands down. Everything is good, though. Salads are great. Pasta is delicious. My wife likes their gluten free pizza and the pasta. You can't go wrong and definitely check the special board. We have also catered for parties. Everyone loves the food. Don't sleep on Pasticcio!

Ordered a cheese steak pizza on Halloween. It took an hour; no problem - it's Halloween night. But the pizza we received was so overcooked. It was dry. If we didn't live 20 min away and it was a different night, we might have driven it back. Used to be a favorite place for pizza. Not so sure anymore.

So disappointed. Not from the area, working late and was looking for pizza delivery options. Decided instead to to order chicken Parmesan and chicken Caesar wrap. Not sure how old the chicken cutlets were, but they were certainly not made. Fresh pounded thin overcooked, and covered in sauce. Chicken Caesar wrap: chicken pieces were drowning in Caesar dressing, minimal or no lettuce. Meal was Inedible, went into the trash. What a waste of money. Maybe should have ordered the pizza instead. Chicken Caesar wrap went into the trash, took photo of chicken Parmesan before tossing it as well.

Pasticcio is one of the most memorable places I've ordered food from recently. I was recently working in the area and just completed a 12hr shift. I found this wonderful restaurant through the Too Good to Go app and also ordered an eggplant parmigiana sub. When I initially arrived at the store, I got there too early and they were not ready to give me my order. I felt immediately welcomed and made to feel at home. The restaurant was spanking clean and spotless. Not a finger smudge on glass surfaces anywhere and no crumbs or spills on the tables. Sneeze guards were crystal clear and the hospitality top notch. Whenever I pick up Too Good to Go order from restaurants, most places will just give me the food cold or room temperature. The staff at Pasticcio went above and beyond by reheating my box of amazing pizzas in their oven prior to handing it to me. HOW NICE OF THEM!! I was whining about how I needed to drive almost an hour home and whatnot and they made sure I had hot pizzas to nosh on while driving. I felt so touched and it made my visit so memorable. I know exactly where I will be getting food from and telling all of my colleagues about the place when I am back in the area. I am looking forward to returning again in the future and trying out their other menu items such as their seafood pastas and items with pesto in it! Already drooling thinking about the whole menu. Bravo Zulu!!

I've been searching for a good slice place for years. Basically gave up until I tried this place. One of the best straight forward cheese slices I've had in years. Tried the grandma margarita and it may be the best pizza I've ever had. Amazing variety and super nice staff.

Very good pizza to go ... on time and delish. (We get it 'well done') Will try more of the menu on the future

I can't help but feel the food has fallen off some since then. The asparagus and bean sides did not wow, and the 2 seafood pastas (one was the special) we got were very bland. Nothing to complain about with the spinach radicchio ricotta balls. The florentine steak special really needs to be served with flakey salt like their sister restaurant in Italy does. We consulted you, the Yelp Community, for recommendations. You did not disappoint! The restaurant is in a complex with a hotel and other shops in the heart of the town. We parked in a nearby garage (easy) and walked over. We didn't have a reservation, but, fortunately we were able to get a table for 2. Yay! The atmosphere is warm with a sophisticated feel. We were greeted promptly, got drinks and they took our order. First up was a simple, traditional tomato and onion salad, no lettuce, with an oil and herb dressing. This was the only soft note in the meal, mostly because this type of salad needs a tomato with lots of flavor, particularly an acid note to balance the oil. These tomatoes weren't up to that task. It was still very good, just on the bland side, and getting good flavorful tomatoes late in the season can be challenging. Entrees! I got the Pappardelle with Bolognese gravy. Anyone who has read my reviews for a time knows I have a problem with tomato gravy with beef being sold as "bolognese". Pure joy when nicely cooked Al dente noodles showed up smothered in a legit creamy bolognese. Y'all, it was really good. Lys had never experienced Smith Island Cake. Shocking, I know. So we of course got a slice to split after dinner, despite being pretty stuffed. The cake didn't disappoint. It was fudgy (almost like a thick ganache) and moist but not mushy or falling apart. Lys now understands why this is the unofficial dessert of Maryland. Sooooo good. Awesome place. Highly recommend.

Ambiance: Modern and sassy, but can be loud. I'd say it has a very energetic vibe. Not very intimate because of the, sometimes boisterous, patronage. There is a new dress code, but I didn't see it being enforced on a few. Not somewhere to have a quiet refined dinner, at least on a Saturday. However, there is outside seating, which actually is a little more relaxed, if the weather is cooperative. App steak rolls: These are always a hit when going here. Sadly I think these are going away because the new owners want a more authentic Italian restaurant. Steaks: We ordered 3 10 oz filets. 2 were cooked perfectly, the third was very rare in the center when all of them were supposed to be medium. Part of me thinks the back got the order wrong somehow, because the two others were perfect. Very strange. Truffle Fries: Very yummy, although to me, I felt it needed a tad bit more salt, but there is salt on the table as needed. I would definitely order these fries again.
