It was also missing the classic Luxardo or maraschino cherry garnish, and without any garnish at all, it felt like it was missing that final finishing touch. It took quite a while for someone to answer, but I eventually placed the order and went inside to pick it up. While I stood there waiting, five or six employees walked past me as though I were invisible. Not one person greeted me, acknowledged me, or asked if I needed assistance. Finally, an employee who had already walked past me twice asked, "May I help you?" I explained what had happened and asked to speak with a manager. After telling the manager that multiple employees had ignored me, I informed him that I would be writing a review. His only response was, "Okay." No apology, no concern, and no attempt to address the problem. The employees' behavior was rude, but the manager's complete indifference made the experience even worse. When management is this dismissive, it is easy to understand why the staff believes ignoring customers is acceptable. Maggiano's promotes hospitality, but there was absolutely nothing hospitable about this experience.
