Delicious and authentic. We used Slice for delivery once, but pick up was so much faster.

Trust me, it's worth it. They've got a small bar area that seats about 4-6 people, which is where I sat, and honestly that's the move if you like a lively vibe. Now let's talk about the pizza--amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and one of those meals where you catch yourself still thinking about it later. I enjoyed every bite and could've easily gone for another round. Overall, this place delivers: good energy, good food, good people. Definitely a spot you want to keep in your rotation.

It's supposed to be a wine bar, I guess, and the wine is their main focus, though they are also apparently well known for their pizzas. Despite it being busy, we were seated pretty quickly in the back area, and were served quickly. Our waitress was great, and offered a lot of good drink and food suggestions. I love the way the wine is broken down. They've got three categories, which are snarky grouping by price. I am drawing a blank on the names of the categories, and they're not on the website, so .... they were something like, "Wallet Friendly Wines," "I can splurge a little," and "Money is no object to wine!" Theirs were probably better and more creative -- dock me one star as a reviewer for not remembering. :) The wines were good. I tried two different ones, including an unusual "orange" wine, which is a white wine left to contact the skins. It was a little fruitier than I usually like in a white wine, but it was good still. The food for me was where it fell down. I ordered a charcuterie plate, which was honestly kind of skimpy for the price. I also got a burrata, which is served with "harissa roasted carrots." The harissa was incredibly spice forward, and... burrata is a delicious, but delicate cheese. The carrots and harissa basically contaminated it and overpowered it. They might as well have dipped it in coriander and cumin. That's fine if you want to eat coriander and cumin, but not if you want burrata. My pizza was the biggest let down. It's a "rustic" style pizza, but it frankly translates to "poorly made." It's a good size, roughly oval pizza, with very thin, crispy crust. Like a giant cracker. It's then cut into 16 pieces (give or take, don't quote me). Some of those pieces had /nothing/ on them. Like, just crust. No cheese. No sauce. No toppings. Others had just sauce. I'm not a big fan of pizza, but when I eat it, I expect every piece to have sauce, cheese, and toppings on it... if I wanted to eat just crust, I'd just ask for a pile of aperitif crackers. Great atmosphere, good drinks, fair price, but ... terrible food. If I lived nearby, I'd stop by for a drink now and again, but I wouldn't eat there.

We also ordered a small salad and it was small and basically average for the price. Mostly iceberg lettuce which had no nutrients and the dressing was not good. In general, the place has a very nice atmosphere but is seemed a little unkept and a bit rundown in some areas. Especially at the drink dispenser area. We sat by a nice window table and it was a warm sunny winter day. Service was quick but there were only about 10-15 other diners there . I would say the prices are fair. Like any restaurant these days , everything is so inflated. They try to push a minimum 22% tip on you at checkout with a card. It really gets in my craw when retailers and restaurants do that. I was nice enough to give a 20% tip. We may return someday to try some of the other pizzas. Beyond that, I'd say this place is nothing to write home about.

When I asked if they had burgers, he tapped the menu and said, "We are a pizza spot!!!" which immediately set the tone. We decided to stay anyway, but things didn't improve. My husband ordered the braised short ribs, not realizing it came with a spicy sauce. When we brought it up, Bobby told us if it was remade, we'd be charged for both orders. No effort to check with the kitchen or involve a manager -- just a flat no. Then my husband ordered an Old Forester 1924, but was given the 1920 instead. The 1924 is highly allocated and hard to find. when he saw they had it, he really wanted to taste it. When we pointed it out, Bobby just said, "Oh, okay," and never corrected the drink or offered a solution. The only bright spot was the bartender, who was friendly and offered him a taste of the 1924; that was the only moment of good service all night. Really disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration. 1 star only because of the bartender.

When walking in asking if she would scrape off the mayo, she did and tossed it back saying to never come back. One last personal situation, 2 years ago my cousin Nelson walked in after a phone standing further towards the back around the rest rooms. Mary Jo uttered, "You can't be back in that area" in a loud arrogant tone of voice at which time Nelson walked towards the front of the store saying nothing. No amount of abuse is worth walking out with a pizza from this pace, please believe. Thank you, Gregg Reckart.
