    Large cheese pizza
    Liz B.

My former neighbor used to recommend this place all the time so I figure as today is good as any day to try it out now. It's a classic no-frills pizza place you order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. There's ample seating at least for a Thursday afternoon. There are fountain beverages and it's possible to order wine and beer. The wine selection didn't look so good though. And the pizza the pizza is probably the best pizza Annapolis. The large cheese pizza was large and had plenty of cheese and sauce many times pizza places don't like to give you enough sauce and you get a dry pizza. The service was OK.

Always my go-to pizza place now that I live in Maryland again. Very close to New York quality. I love the folks that work there. Delicious pizza and lovely staff!

Incredible pizza!! We tried the godfather and I couldn't put it down. Slice after slice this pizza was perfect New York style pizza. The staff here was extremely friendly and accommodating to our order. We told the gentleman behind the counter we were staying in a hotel and he made sure we had plates and seasoning to go. We will be back every time we come in to Annapolis!

    NY style

Been coming here for 27 years and todays visit was no different - best NY style pizza in Naptown. Hands down. We shared an Italian cold cut served on daily made roll with fresh veggies and oil. Delicious. NY pizza XL was enough for four people and was so pipin hot we had to let it cool for a few minutes. Place is normally packed for dinner and carry out with tons of parking - there's a reason it's packed.

The sauce is terrible. I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone, even at its low price point

It turned out to be the highlight, sitting at the "Chef's Counter" by the pizza station on the covered porch. (We are foodies, and always appreciate an opportunity to sit at a chef's table.) It was a fun spot with a great view of the action and personal interaction with two very hard working pizza chefs. We shared the beet salad, which was a nice start, followed by the skirt steak, the fungi pizza, and grilled asparagus. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. We also enjoyed a very nice Tempranillo with dinner. Our server, Stephanie, was excellent--friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to have taking care of us. Overall, a very enjoyable meal in a great setting. We'd be happy to return.

To be fair, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly, and that's the only reason this isn't one star. We ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and the pepperoni pizza, and they were easily the worst pizzas I've ever had. The crust tasted like cardboard: dry, crunchy with no snap or chew, and completely flavorless. The pepperoni tasted like nothing. There was barely any sauce, and both pies were flat and bland from edge to center. I have never left a restaurant without finishing my meal, and tonight I didn't even try. The potato pancake appetizer was no better. It had a sour aftertaste that made us push it aside after a bite or two. I genuinely don't understand the hype. The staff deserve a kitchen that matches their effort, but based on this visit I can't recommend the food, and I won't be back for pizza.

What an amazing thing to do! Fox's Den is on Main Street just after Conduit Street when coming from the Waterfront Hotel. Look for the sign with the fox on it--the bar and restaurant are down the steps. Once you get inside, it's a really nice place with a large bar, a good-sized dining area, and an open kitchen. We were all treated to some of the best pizza in the area. They had several different pizzas out with all kinds of toppings, and honestly, there wasn't one that I didn't like. The crust was perfect--thin and crispy on the bottom with a light, airy crust around the edge. It had great flavor and was just an excellent pizza all around. One of my favorites had what I believe was apricot on it. OMG, it was so good! And if you enjoy a good Old Fashioned, definitely give theirs a try. It was very good. We had a great time at Fox's Den, and it was the perfect place to keep the celebration going after the wedding. If you're ever in Annapolis, stop in and give their pizza a try. You won't be disappointed!

We go there a ton and we do like their pizza. We also go to Mod in a pinch, but i have been craving some real pizza I of course checked yelp to find any place remotely close to us and I found Angelina's. I was sold with her amazing replies to the misguided idiots who think this pizza place is anything less than amazing. I had been CRAVING a decent pizza. It's been since my last trip out of state since I've had anything remotely like traditional, cheesy, crunchy, savory goodness. After work on a Friday, my husband and I trekked over to Mayo. We wanted to check out the selection of desserts and settled on the yummy looking cannoli and went back out to our car to phone in our order. The place smells amazing. It's a legit pizza place and everything I was expecting. We waited an acceptable amount of time and went in for our pizza. The car smelled so good on our 40 min drive back home. We got home and honestly no one waited to reheat the pizza. We all just dove into the enormous, cheesy, deliciousness we had been waiting so long for. I was not disappointed. We have put Angelina's on our list of places to go. Worth the drive. Worth the wait. Worth it.

Sometimes you find a place that is so pure, and that produces such satisfying food, that it…read moreelevates its otherwise casual, small and mundane profile. Such is Angelina's in Edgewater. The place is located in a non-descript and, dare I say, run-down, strip shopping center (even that is too big and fancy a phrase for this establishment). The atmosphere is almost jarring, no organization, supplies are strewn about all over the place. There are signs everywhere: (1) the menu is on the wall; and (2) whining costs you $5.00 extra; and (3) you can work here but you have to be able to lift 60 pound bags of flour; and so on and so on. Family pictures are left, haphazardly on the counter and placed on the walls as if someone happened to be exiting the building during a fire alarm. It's kind of a mess. But, I tell you, the sandwiches I had there were some of the best Italian subs I have ever had. The meats were high quality. The add-ons were fresh, plentiful and beautifully balanced - just enough spice, just enough mayo, just enough oregano. The Italian dressing was excellent. The bun was substantial, strong enough to contain its ingredients and cushiony soft. Baked just that morning, said the owner, Angelina. Let's talk about Angelina. No nonsense. Get'er done. She is there for 1 reason - to make you the best food she can possibly put together. She's a little bit New York and a little bit of red neck Maryland, all balled up into the perfect SNL character. I heard about her difficulty hiring hard working people, I heard about her daughters, I heard about how tired she was today, I heard her say to call in my order next time because she doesn't like people waiting at the counter. In short, I love Angelina's Italian Kitchen. I look forward to my next meal from her. She is a gem and I hope she never closes her store. I highly recommend Angelina's Italian Kitchen.
