We both ordered the gyro wrap combo, which comes with fries and a drink. At around $15, the price is pretty standard for lunch these days and well worth it. The gyro wrap was delicious, with plenty of flavorful meat and fresh toppings. The real standout, though, was the fries. They were perfectly crispy, seasoned just right, and honestly some of the best fries I've ever had. Overall, we've had consistently good experiences here, and we'll definitely be back. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.

I ordered the kabob koobideh plate for $16 to go and browsed the store. I bought some spices including shawarma mix, tumeric, star anise seeds for about $4 each per bag (I forgot the volume of the bags, but they're about the size of my fist). I ate my food in the car since I couldn't wait until after finishing my errands. Wow, the meat was so juicy and flavorful. It paired perfectly with the white sauce (which I think was a yogurt salad?). My biggest complaint was the fact that 70% of the to-go container was rice and 30% was meat. Then a container of the yogurt on the side. If I come back, I'd probably opt for the kabob koobideh sandwich option instead, as it is less than half the cost. Otherwise, I loved the authentic food and would consider going back - probably more so for the spices though.

They have done such a great job decorating this little place. I had presumed that it would just be a plain room with some kitchen tables found in, but they've got woven basket lighting fixtures and huge bougainvilleas in the corners. It really does have a Greek look. The menu is quite extensive. They serve specialty coffees and pastries and breakfast in addition to traditional Greek food. They even had hariatiki, traditional Greek village salad. They do have selection of wines as well. The girls at the counter were so nice and they even came out to the table to check on us throughout the meal. Have you ordered a gyro pita, and it was really large. I ordered a village salad with a side of gyro meat. Imagine my surprise when I got a huge bowl of gyro meat--certainly more than I thought I would get for $6 on the side. My salad was big and absolutely packed with olives and feta. It was served with fresh pita. Everything was delicious and plentiful. This place is definitely a gem and we will surely come back. The pastries looked amazing, too, so if I'm in this area in the morning you can bet I'll stop in for some of their coffee and a pastry.

He never acknowledged me or greeted me. Once I decided I wanted to try their plate meal with a protein of my choice, I noticed one of the sides was rice or fries; I walked over to ask him a question about not having either and sub with like extra hummus or something different. His reluctantly looked up from his show and immediately said "no" abruptly and went back to watching his show. Needless to say, I decided he was clearly not interested in serving me at all. So I walked out. While I understand some menus are set, he could have responded a little differently. Nonetheless, since he was not interested in serving me, I had opted not to give him my money too.
