New location in the middle of ASU, really good Mediterranean food. The vibes and energy are amazing too. Good music playing also

I did not like Mediterranean food until I tried Spitz. The location being on the ASU campus is so convenient. I also love all their specials that they have throughout the week. My favorite are the Street Cart Fries and the Greek Salad! But the wings are also a runner up. The service was good as well and they were fast with the food. Just make sure you order at the counter first! I also like how the place looks with the neon signs. Great late night meal! :) read more

Just got this from Postmates and it is absolutely delicious! Perfect option for vegetarians and super fresh

Awesome food, delicious meat and all catered to well! Service was good, and they offer great deals especially on Wednesday.

The ambiance and food were so good. First time here but everyone was so nice. Glad my friend recommended this place!

super good food and very fast! really liked the fast service and taste of my fries was amazing.

Over priced and weirdly took too long. Good for the campus but not for the hassle locals would go to pickup or eat in.

Great customer service. Nice location and great food. I really recommend if you're in the Tempe area.

Love it! Found it in Park City and just realized there's one not too far from me in CO. Yay! Had the Doner salad with gyros. It was yummy and huge! Not cheap but could be 2 meals unless you're really hungry. Wish they offered siracha sauce (love spicy) but highly recommend their food! read more

Hidden away at the edge of Arizona State University campus between student housing apartments and the green space of the school. Right off of busy Apache Road. Right in the heart of Tempe. It's a little tricky to find parking as it appears it is only meter street parking available nearby. We lucked out at lunchtime on a Saturday to find a spot right on our front. The small shop is very unique. The art on the walls is interesting to look at. They have bottled soft drinks and water. The staff were very friendly. Apparently, it has just been open about 2 months. The food was fresh and quick. The noodles in the macaroni were perfect. This isn't your kids' macaroni and cheese plate. It has a great kick to it but not too spicy. Seasoned fries line the bottom of the large dish they are covered by a hearty pile of macaroni and cheese that was so well seasoned. The view from the patio was really beautiful. The weather was cooperative for outdoor seating. It is a rather small restaurant with less than 15 indoor seats. The patio area is shared with other restaurants/yogurt shops in the strip mall area. I definitely recommend it. Being a vegetarian, it is nice to be able to order anything on the menu. While still being able to bring my carnivore friends along because they have several meat protein choices to add to the dishes. Definitely recommend for a different than fast food experience. Very casual and comfortable place to eat. Prices were fair for the amount of food. My $15 meal will serve me for 2 meals. Go try it, I think you will like it. read more

Service was great! Ordered and got my food quickly! Loved it! Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends.

The food is AMAZING! I was visiting Tempe for the weekend and saw this was 5 miles from where I was staying. At first, I was skeptical because they do not have the full Spitz menu listed the same as other stores. HOWEVER, I got exactly what I usually get thanks to the guys at the counter AND I feel like I got more food than I'm used to in LA, Cali. Service was incredible from a college town: very fast, accurate, considerate, and welcoming. Therefore, I say the ambiance was a 10/10. Thank you for making my day @Spitz-Tempe Staff Unfortunately I was too hungry this time to take photos but trust me, there an ample amount of food and it was quality take-out !! read more

Spitz at ASU blends bold Mediterranean flavors with a modern, health-conscious menu -- fresh wraps, hearty bowls, and crisp falafel all shine. Service is friendly and efficient, perfect for students on the go. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. The casual vibe and late hours make it a solid pick for lunch, dinner, or even a late study break. A must-try when craving something tasty, wholesome, and different near campus. read more

wings are very good and juicy. The vibes here are immaculate and very good music as well

i love spitz. can't go w out my sparky bowl, portions are always good and meat is always fresh!!

I'm a big fan of the Sparky bowl! I love the new interior design of the restaurant also.

food so yum i like the bowls and gyros. the employees are very nice and service is good.

College students are the target audience. It's difficult to park but you're not supposed to drive here. You should walk from class or a dorm. The food isn't super unique (salad and go makes a similar wrap for 1/2 the price) or made with love (kebob grill N go). But it's meant to be quick college food and it hits the mark on that. The staff was super friendly and gave us a nice discount. The food was made inside of 10 minutes, which is amazing. And the place has some nifty decor - it's tagged up and has a mac miller record on display. But it's got no soul. And having soul is probably too high of a standard for a place that saves college kids from eating ramen. Baklava was mid. read more

I love how it's walking distance to the ASU campus, and the food was great definitely worth it! Great service! Will come again! read more

10/10 for the food, vibes, and asthetic! we came for the grand opening and happen to be the first official customer, what an honor that was! we also got to meet the founder and owners, and let me tell you, these people are so kind, humble, and so down to earth. i love to support people like them. First thing I got was the sharky's street cart fries with chicken and the street cart wrap with lamb and beef. The street cart wrap was so delicious and refreshing with the crunchy cucumbers, I would definately get again! The sharky's street cart fries was also so mouth watering and not too overwhelming. As a dessert we got the baklava roll, and that was a great treat after our dinner, not to sweet, just perfect. The portion sizes there are huge and great to share with some friends or if your hungry, even by yourself! Once you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff and the welcoming chill vibes, the decor is so cute, they definitely make you feel welcomed and want to stay awhile. If you're into Mediterranean food or want to try something new, healthy, vegan, and support small businesses come here for a quick bite! You won't regret it! read more

This is a hidden gem. Stumbled upon this place while getting some ice cream nearby. I got the street cart fries!

Food was good but they took about 40 mins to have my food ready after placing an online order, and it wasn't busy at all.

i love the sparky bowl. great customer service quick food. super great atmosphere and vibe.

So excited to see Spitz popping up here in AZ. My first experience was over a decade ago in Los Angeles. The cart fries are a basket of amazing mediterranean meat and flavors. Service was great even being later in the evening. Parking could be an issue during school hours but it's worth it! read more

Spitz - ASU - Cart Fries With Gyro Meat - Mediterranean Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

The vegan wrap I got, with the falafel was really bitter, like something wasn't fresh, and it also didn't have any roasted corn in it. Worst Spitz experience ever. I ended up just eating the kids quesadilla I got for my son because my wrap was so inedible. read more

Not quite as good as the Spitz restaurants in Salt Lake City or Portland, but always love the Street Cart Fries! And street cart wrap. Very flavorful! read more

Cool shop! the guys behind the counter were nice, we got the street cart fries, a gyro, and the legendary sparky bowl all of which were freshhh read more

The food is really good and I would highly recommend. The service is very quick as well.

I am plant based. This was my first time trying food from this restaurant. I found it because I am a DoorDash (dasher) delivery driver. I got the wrap and it was really good. I didn't care for the fries, it tastes like there may be sugar on them and the flavor just didn't go well with the wrap. The woman who helped me was polite and she made the wrap look pretty. The overall feeling of the restaurant was clean and fit for college students. Definitely will go again! read more

Kids loved it and had an amazing time. We ate family style and everything was so yummy. Staff are lovely too

Cooler spot I did an online order went to pick up. I will return and actually sit in there to fill the vibes.

Great place with really good food and service. Great ambiance with lots of places to sit and eat.

Used to eat this weekly in SLC. When they first opened I went and thought that the ingredient combination was a bit off. But because I love doner kebabs I have been back several times since. They figured it out and it's very very good. Last time I added in the pickled veggie option and really enjoyed it. read more
