    Crème brûlée
    Cole D.

Awesome spot. Ran 6 to get here and it hit so well after that. The creme brûlée is definitely the move. My friend got the original cinnamon roll and it's wayyyyy too sugary. The creme is perfect amount of smoothness. It's an airy dough, very light. Very light bread inside, and rips apart easily. I feel I prefer a thicker dough with a cinnamon roll. I'd prefer Sunday Morning but this place is still a solid option.

I was lucky enough to try the Thai tea roll, which is one of my favorite drinks. The concept of this place is wonderful and the flavors are so unique with savory options too. However, I don't think this is what I would necessarily get if I was craving a cinnamon roll. The dough was soft and pillowy, but denser than a normal cinnamon roll that I like. The thai tea flavor was strong and not too sweet. It is also a sizeable dessert that can be shared with multiple people. I thought the cookie on top was a nice addition of texture. The girl behind the counter was patient, kind, and helpful. Overall, I would want to try the original before making any permanent conclusions, but still a great experience!

    Tiramisu Roll

I've been on a cinnamon roll kick, and Spirals is cranking out one of the best. No lines, with plenty of product on a warm Saturday morning. I tried out the special Tiramisu roll and the consistency leans bready, and not too sweet with a fluffy icing primarily on top. So if you prefer a gooey style bun, this might not fit the bill, but just like my view on cookies, every style has its place

Ordered cinnamon rolls this past week to share with coworkers and they were a hit! Only thing that would make them better is if they were warm (I'll have to try that next time). My favorite was the classic cinnamon flavor, but all the favors I tried were great. Very moist, buttery dough that is packed with filling and flavor! I will definitely be back!

    Ube Roll**

First Impressions: I tried to call ti see if they had the burrata roll available but no one picked up the phone. Very disappointing service. Went there anyway. The Noms: Ube cinnamon roll- very good, soft and warm and cinnamon-y in all the right ways and could taste the ube in the frosting. Wish the dough itself was more ube tasting, but still a decent cinnamon roll. Waaaayyy better than the cinnamon rolls they have a Sunday, which is all hype. In Conclusion: still waiting on the return of the burrata roll. I'd come back again for that because it just looked amazing and a lot of people are gushing about it. Hope to see it return so I can return.

    Original Cinnamon Rolls**

First time here, so we wanted to try the OG cinnamon roll along with one of the monthly rotating flavors. Although we came on March 1, they were serving one last day of the February rolls, so I opted for the Banana Milkshake roll (and I got the very last one). The OG was an excellent version of a classic cinnamon roll. The dough was light and airy with a whisper of cinnamon, while there was a glaze on the bottom that gave a more intense burst of cinnamon. The cream cheese frosting was so delectable. My husband liked the banana roll a lot. I'm not sure I would get it again. The banana flavor reminded me of banana runt candy, which isn't my fave. We were here around 1:30pm on a Sunday and there was no line. People were already eating at the two available seats, so we took our rolls to go.

I'm a big cinnamon rolls lovers so had to stop by to pickup their classics cinnamon rolls while vacationing in NY! It's huge soft and cinnamonly but overly sweet with the generous topping so had to scoop some off ! Staff were friendly and helpful ! Worth a stop to try it yourself !

    Strawberry Matcha Roll

Got their strawberry Matcha roll. The Matcha cream cheese frosting balanced out the sweetness and the strawberry frosting, though it did have a slight artificial taste, balanced it all out with the darkness and sweetness. The portion size is huge, which is great. You have the option to get it heated up to eat immediately. I think it's good and the multiple options allow there to be something for anyone. However, I don't think it is the best or my favorite cinnamon roll in the city.

I see some mixed reviews but I enjoyed the cinnamon rolls. Ive been here twice so far. I ordered the Original cinnamon roll and the cookies & cream and I enjoyed them. They are pretty big and filling and not overly sweet. You will feel quite stuffed after eating one. They had a unique flavor - pesto burrata roll which I have yet to try. There isn't much seating inside so most likely you will have to order it to go and fyi they are closed Mondays & Tuesdays.

Came here with a small slew of social media cognizant people who were following the trend as well. Small line at open - 9am. Ordered a regular roll and gingerbread roll as well to split. Tell ya that original was gone before I got a bite huh??? WOW! WOW WOW! BOW WOW YIPPEE YO YIPPEE YAY!! The gingerbread was good - a little too much all spice and clove for me in the batter.

Spirals is an essential visit when trying to crown the best cinnamon roll in the city. They have a variety of flavors, but I opted for their original to get a good baseline. It was soft and bready, and tasty, but I can't say that they were my favorite of all the options that are out there now. I do think they have creative ideas for their rotating menu items, including a tiramisu one that I would like to try, and would def come back here if in the area. I think you should go and decide for yourself! It was sweet, not too sweet, and the cream cheese frosting was cream cheese forward with a slight funk. The cookie had a nice texture. The workers were nice, too and very helpful. It's a small space with a few chairs that you can sit at, lots of natural lighting.

    Apple Pie Roll $9.25
    Kathleen S.

Recommended as their favorite flavor among the options by two of the staff, the apple pie roll was a solid choice. I was looking for something not too sweet or decadent, with minimal frosting, which the apple pie roll delivered. Loaded with cinnamon flavor and bits of apple, it certainly did evoke an apple pie flavor. I did think the bread was a bit dry. The cinnamon roll was substantial and hefty, making the $9.25 price tag somewhat reasonable. They did have a very intriguing savory stuffing flavored roll on offer. I would definitely return to try other seasonal and limited edition flavors. The staff were super friendly and patient. They offered to heat the bun, but I took it to go. The space had two barstool chairs, so the bakery isn't set up for people to dine in.

I had a great experience here! I came on a Saturday. I was between the original and the apple pie but I was swayed to get the apple pie since it was one of the last days to get it (seasonal flavor). They heated it up for me and I ate at the 2 person counter by the window. I was able to chat with Arin who was so lovely! We talked about different flavors they have created and potential new flavors. The apple pie cinnamon roll was yummy! It wasn't too sweet at all, which I think makes for a great cinnamon roll especially when you're eating the same bite over and over again. I will definitely be back to try new flavors!

The Mango and Pistachio looked so realistic and mirrored the flavors perfectly. I love the size of their cakes which are perfect to share with a group of 4. I indulged in their Black Sesame Mochi Cake and Blueberry Chiffon Cake which both have the fluffiest sponge cake base, a fluffy vibrant cream, and fresh ingredients and fruit. Give their drinks a try too. I enjoy their matcha here! The Traffic Lights is a strawberry matcha with a mango cream top. And I also tried their Black Sesame Latte but substituted the espresso for matcha and loved this customized pairing. FYI, there is no bathroom!

It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I had never heard of the place before, but I was happy to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite. I will definitely be back for more cookies. This was such a wonderful find, and I'm so happy my coworker introduced me to this place!
