After posting my initial less than positive review here on Yelp, the cofounder of Spiffy reached out to discover more. First, it should be noted that the experience I had with Spiffy was a couple of years old (pre-COVID, which seems decades ago). The cofounder apologized, noted that the individuals I had been interacting with were no longer with the company, and asked if I'd give Spiffy another shot and a chance to prove that they could do a great job. After a bit of back and forth (initially I resisted as I wasn't looking to get something for free, as I no longer have the Porsche) we agreed that it was only fair to give Spiffy a chance to try again, and they set me up with an Awesome Detail package. I have to say that everyone I spoke with at Spiffy, from the customer care manager to the detailer/technician assigned to the job were very professional, personable, and made an effort to keep me up to date. The day of the detail rolled around, and of course it was pouring out. The detailer called to apologize about needing to reschedule (as I don't have a garage with my house) and I worked with the Spiffy team to reschedule a few days later. That day worked out nicely--it was bright and sunny, and the process was very straight-forward and easy--the detailer arrived, I provided the key, and he started immediately. Three and a half hours later, I have to say, my car was as clean--if not more so--than when I originally bought it (you can see pictures attached). Even with having two dogs with fur everywhere and doggo slobber on the windows...the detailer, Tyler, even managed to get the fabric on the B-pillar totally clean. Spiffy did live up to the name of the detailing procedure--it was truly was an Awesome job. Sure, I had a less than ideal experience with Spiffy--but any company can have a bad day/detailer, so I consider it water under the bridge. Based on my latest experience, both with the management and detailing work, I feel comfortable changing my rating significantly. I know I'll be using them for my future detailing needs. read more

When a technician actually arrives at your house, they do a really good job. The problem is that they often reschedule. Sometimes with 24 hrs, sometimes with 20 minutes notice. And then they have no availability for several days. I tried to make an appointment a week ago. It's been rescheduled twice and if they show up this time, it will be 10 days from when I requested an appointment to when they actually wash my car. I feel like if they could figure out this scheduling situation, they would be more profitable and have higher ratings, because who wants to wait 10 days to get your car washed??? read more

Terrible customer service. I had booked a mobile car appointment online originally for 12pm but I got a text a day before the appointment they have a 9am slot available... I went ahead and booked the 9am and shifted our days plan accordingly. Come to the day of the appointment, it's 9:15 and the technician hasn't showed up. I check outside my house, no van, no sign of the technician. I call the number in the confirmation text and the rep tells me the technician who was supposed to come "is running late", and asked if she could reschedule to 12pm instead. I told her "no, we planned our day such that we would be done by noon, could you call and ask the technician where he is and what his ETA is". Then she tells me "oh the technician cancelled and had to switch his schedule around". I received no courtesy call to tell me things changed on the day of my appointment. Well, why did the rep say he's running late then change the story to say his schedule changed. This is BS customer service. I asked for my money back and won't be using them. Unfortunate because my neighbor uses this company and I heard good things. read more

They arrive late without contacting you and you're forced to reschedule. They also have a history of canceling your appointment within an hour or less of your scheduled appointment. Very poor customer service. I have given this company several chances but I won't be using them again. read more

Wow I was blown away by Get Spiffy. Far exceeded my expectations. I called and the technician came to the house within an hour. My technician was WHATSON SAINTILIEN. The man worked on my car for 3 hours. There was dried on sap on the car and he removed it. His attention to detail and precision was amazing. Every time I thought he was done he was polishing and touching something up. The car looks almost brand new. The interior and exterior were immaculate. The prices are very reasonable. Stay away!!! I had my suv washed by the local franchise and absolutely nothing was done right, actually they did just about every no-no in the book. The interior seems to have been doused with a greasy dressing that I still haven't been able to get off. They hit every panel with the stuff, so my entire interior is slippery and greasy. They even used it on mu leather seats, screens, and even my tuxmats...beyond unsafe...u had to literally stop at a gas station and wipe my feet and my pedals... I've just spent the last hour cleaning the inside of my windshield and it still has the residue that keeps leaving streaks and haze.... The outside is just as bad, marring and left over detailer quick wax everywhere. They didn't clean the wheels, instead, they just sprayed them with the same tire shine spray. It took me three microfiber rags to wipe off all the brake dust crud covered in tire shine... I honestly wish they had never touched my car. I booked them because of their okay reviews. One word to describe my experience with get sniffy would be unreliable. And here's why, I needed my car detailed so, I reached out to spiffy without looking at the reviews first. My original appointment was for 4 PM Friday. They changed my appointment twice (2pm then 2:45pm). I agreed to the 2:45 PM slot on Friday. Thursday came and I received a text stating they are not available for the Friday slot and if they can come Monday. You guys are unreliable. Oh, my bank statement I noticed they had a transaction that was pending, but service was never rendered. I took care of that issue real quick. read more

Spiffy gave my car a nice wash. But somehow in the process of washing my car the windshield was cracked. The damage was reported and Pictures were taken of the windshield. Ten work days went by with no response. Finally I had to reach out to spiffy for help . At that time management said there no proof from the before & after pictures that it was their fault. I had used their services for both of my vehicles before but it had been a while, and this time, I only needed one vehicle serviced. The process is super easy because I do it through their app. on my phone, and they have all my info. there (photo of the vehicles, previous appointments, charges, etc. etc.) so I reserved a day/time convenient to me and that was that. Shortly after I got a confirmation of my reservation. Something was different this time because a couple of days before my appointment, I received a message telling me that my original time would not be available so "would I be willing to change it for 1 hour later?" I msgd back "no problem". And it wasn't because the kid (Brandon) arrived to my home right on time, all smiles and politeness. I handed him the keys and over 1 hour later, he knocked on the door and handed the keys back (still smiling). I didn't have to pay the bill to him (but I did tip him and he deserved every penny!) because my card is on their files and shortly after he left, I received an email with my receipt and a detailed account of all charges -and it was exactly what it was quoted (plus taxes) so no surprises there. Other family members have faves about Spiffy and on several occasions I have watched as the technician put a mat under the car to collect the runoff during the cleaning process. When the tech was cleaning my car I noticed that there was no mat so I reached out to customer service. I suspect that nobody contacted the tech in real time because there was no change in his process. When the work was finished I asked again about my expectation that the Runoff would be collected. I was told that the tech was reprimanded and offered $20 off my $200+ service. Very disappointed. read more

Do NOT use Spiffy if you have a small SUV. They split their services into sedan vs non-sedan and are unwilling to listen to reason. My car is basically a hatchback and meets their definition of a sedan from their website (two rows with a separate trunk). In fact, it's smaller than the sedan I owed previously, but they charged me the non-sedan price, which includes large trucks, Escalades, and the like. These vehicles are twice the size of mine and much more labor intensive to clean. When I spoke with customer service about this I was met with no flexibility and dismissed. I understand the need for a general division in the price point, but this isn't it. They have lost my future business because of this. read more

Several days later, still no response. Pretty rough customer service. Edit: After posting this review, my issue was resolved promptly. Do not get your car detailed through this company. I can't speak for everyone but my experience with this company was horrible. Not only do they charge you before even providing any service if you book online but from most reviews I've read they always have to re-schedule and/or cancel on you. They had to re-schedule me for a different time than the original time of my appointment in accordance with what works with them. If you're running a detailing company I'd like to think you would fix your schedule to satisfy the customer and their needs especially if the customer is paying $200+ for an "Awesome Detail". I wish I took pictures of my vehicle after the "Awesome Detail" was performed but unfortunately I did not. I'm not the one to write bad reviews for anything whatsoever but with this experience I had no choice but to at least save someone some money because I know in my case I lost my money. My vehicle was not "detailed". for a $200+ service I was expecting a full clean shiny vehicle inside and out but I could've done a better job myself. They left the vehicle smelling horrible, can't even provide a car freshener because a local drive through car wash even provides a small air freshener. My car was so in need of TLC. Since the pandemic I have not been taking the car to a full service wash. You know,where they vacuum the inside, wash the Windows inside and out, etc. I only go to the sit in your car and drive through kind. I finally reached the point where I couldn't stand to look at my filthy car, the dog hair, dirt on the floor mats and windows you could barely see out of. I just had my car detailed, my headlights done, and oil changed. My car looks AMAXZING!!!!! It looks like a new car. Headlights are absolutely perfectly clear. The oil change included a tire rotation, didn't even know. My interior is sparking clean. My car is a 2015 so I did not expect the results I got. They put a pad down on the driveway, reclaimed the water, and no worries about oil on the driveway. So so easy. I was at home , could make calls, clean, work. My car was damaged by a tech, who in fairness was trying to be helpful. He cleaned the headliner on my Audi and discolored it. The company denied the damage claim with outright untruths, don't respond to requests for a written copy of the claim, nor do they return calls. The Regional Manager didn't bother to call after assuring me through a team member he would, the upper management/owners don't respond and the resolve offered by a district manager, who lied about the sunroof leaking (proven false by auto care provider) offered a free Spiffy wash as though it was a substitute for taking accountability. I supported the company for almost ten years. There are far better options and they actually have loyalty and integrity towards customers and the work they do. read more

The technician was late , failed to notify me that he was going to be late. Spiffy already deducted the money from my account before they arrived. So, therefore I could not cancel. Then during my messages to their team , the operator decides to leave without notifying me and accuses me of flipping him off ( that is definitely not true) . I have used this company before a number of times without an issue ( I posted positive reviews ) but today's experience has left me no choice but to leave a negative review. So here's how experience went. I saw the website while searching for a good place to have my car detailed.i was impressed that they would come to me and they reclaimed the water! They showed up on time- excellent! They were polite and super friendly! They finished the out side looked good, the inside smelled good! I clicked the pay link and quickly left my rating....then I began to put my stuff back in the car. I noticed some spills that were missed along the cup holder, no big deal, I wiped it off, then I noticed my steering wheel was still dirty, meh, then I looked at the seats, as they dried, the spots appeared. I grabbed a towel and blotted and it was brown from the spill my son had from a soda- it was as if nothing had truly been cleaned, just wetter down with good smelling water. I called, made a very friendly- concerned call. The super nice guy asked me to send photos and that the supervisor would be contacted. I waited all day, no call, no fix. I wish I could give 0 stars to this review. The idea is great - they come to your home and service your car. The execution and customer service is horrible. I complained to them within a couple of hours and still haven't gotten a call back to fix the issues. The problem with their execution - cleaning quality is not thorough. If its a regular car wash, fine. But if you're paying for detailing, you should get detailed car quality. Here's a synopsis of the service: 1) Our carpet is still covered in dog hair. Like, no-effort-in-vacuuming-covered. 2) Our seats are covered in splatters of oily residue (I think they used oil to polish some things). 3) There's a water stain that they said they could remove, but it didn't even seem like they shampooed the seats. We're now removing it ourselves. 4) There are random stains across our leather and door sides of the car, white dried stains, must have been their cleaning product that they neglected to actually clean off. 5) The dashboard is covered in dust. The problem with customer service - they pretend to hear you out, but never respond back to your complaints. It's been days since I've reached out to them to no response back. That said, save your money and pay it elsewhere. Until they improve the quality of work, its not worth the risk of using their service. Scheduled my appointment via the app and it was confirmed. Gave my card and the funds were deducted before the service was conducted. I get an email the morning of the appointment saying unforeseen events have occurred and the technician cannot complete the service. They wanted to reschedule me for another day because they couldn't find another technician to fulfill my appointment. They did give me a 15 dollar credit but more importantly I wanted the service completed. read more

We took my car on a weekend trip to the beach. She only has 6k miles so I wanted it cleaned back to dealership condition. The guys showed up right on time and got to work. Overall I think they did an very good job. There was just a bit of dry wax that I had to get off on one fender, and a little bit of sand in the trunk. Hardly noticeable.
