Zara is one of my favorite stores. I'm always so excited when I find a mall that has one since…read morethere isn't any close to home. This Zara was huge!! They were having a sale and I find a couple items to take home. The staff was average for retail. No one went above and beyond. My friend found an item that was without a ticket and they told her it had to be taken off the floor. The reason she was given is that Zara copies so many other designers that it had maybe been an issue. She also found an item that was missing its belt and they told her she had to buy it as is and that no discount would be offered. Zara 13350 Dallas Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75240 Monday July 9, 2018 2:30pm

This experience confirmed exactly what countless online reviews already warn about: inconsistent…read morequality, poor customer service, and a frustrating return process. I placed a $250 order and received a pair of pink shorts from the limited Special K-Pop Demon Hunters one-time collaboration for my niece's birthday. The item arrived visibly stained, snagged, and pilled. It looked unmistakably like a worn return that had been carelessly repackaged and resold at full price. This was not a minor flaw. It was obvious damage. Because this was a one-time collaboration piece, it is now completely sold out and will likely never be restocked. That makes this situation significantly worse. The only "resolution" offered was for me to return the item for a refund -- meaning Zara's error cost my niece her birthday gift, and I am left scrambling to replace something that cannot be repurchased. I contacted customer service twice -- once via chat and once by phone. Both representatives repeated the same scripted response: return it. The phone representative was dismissive, audibly annoyed, and spoke to me in a condescending tone, as though expecting basic quality control was unreasonable. A global retailer should not be reselling damaged returned merchandise without proper inspection. And if this reflects broader fulfillment practices, that is deeply concerning. A quick search of Zara reviews shows that complaints about inconsistent quality and poor customer service are not new. Unfortunately, I can now confirm this firsthand. I hope this review reaches someone in leadership who is willing to address what appears to be a recurring operational failure. It is unfortunate, because Zara appears to have a strong selection of children's clothing and exciting collaborations with major brands and cultural franchises. However, partnerships of that scale deserve fulfillment standards that reflect the value of those names. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering again.

The staff was a joy to work with and the checks I received for items sold was certainly worth it. NOT ANYMORE. I took a basket full of items recently and a separate bag of wooden hangers so I could hang them up before presenting them for review. As I walked through the door, I was first chastised for not having them on hangers (I should have walked out immediately), but instead pointed out that I had a bag with hangers and was going to put them on hangers for her to go through the clothes. I was by myself and it made it easier for me to carry in the basket, then the hangers. With a cursory glance at the first three items, she rejected the entire lot of designer labels. ReThreads is not the same- at all. It is unfortunate. It was once a great destination to sell and shop. I don't know if it changed ownership, but the former staff is what created returning customers. I miss the former employees.

The Galleria is far less tempting than NorthPark and I had the package in my car. First purchase ever from alo. This shiny new alo store was packed, so clearly word had spread and I wanted to have a look around. The item I had ordered 2 of (unsure of the sizing, hence returning one) was already selling out, which means I chose wisely when it popped up on my phone at 2AM days before. MOST READERS SKIP TO THIS SECTION: Despite the crowd, the employees greeted everyone entering warmly, mentioned the 30% off was also good in-store if you get the app, and were available to help. You guys, clearly, this customer service is choreographed, and it shows in a good way. As an LfL (lulu for lifer) this makes me a potential convert. I had to look at the shoes because the PR packages of the Sunset sneaker piqued my curiosity, and they resemble the designer ballet sneakers I may have a few versions of at home. Everyone working was helpful and helping each other, and I love to see that. Their banter was cute. Yeah, this is an influencer brand and I was influenced - I had to try the shoes. Had. to. Needed the shoes because with 30% off AND my return, I was saving even more $, right? I hate the term girl math but I accept it as truth sometimes. The checkout line moved quickly and they were reminding every guest to get or show the app for 30% off. My path through the mall back to my car with the bag resulted in so many people stopping me to confirm if alo is now open, ask directions, and some to ask what I bought. Despite trying to get out of there, if you knew how my day of errands started, you'd understand that this was a feel-good ending. Literally, cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie vibes. Faith restored in humankind. Well done you, alo. By design, I will be back.
