    After their cleaner messed up my new floors

    I hired Speedy Cleans to clean the basement of my investment property after a flood on June 20, 2025. I'm a busy business owner and needed professionals who could handle raw sewage cleanup properly and safely. Unfortunately, this experience was anything but professional--and ended up costing me thousands in damage. The first cleaner arrived completely unprepared, with nothing but a mop, bucket, and hard scraper. He left for over an hour to get proper tools from Home Depot, then came back and soaked my newly installed epoxy floors, using the wrong tool to scrape up debris. That scraper scratched and gouged my floors, and he pushed paint chips into my floor drain, which later clogged the sewer line. I had to pay $265 to have it snaked. He also splashed dirty water and sewage on my walls and doors, and refused to wear shoe covers, tracking sewage up my brand-new carpeted stairs. Then, at 2:30 PM, he abruptly left without finishing, leaving water standing on the floor and telling me to call the company to send someone else. A second cleaner was sent out and spent 7 hours cleaning up not just the flood, but the mess the first technician made. Speedy Cleans told me they absorbed that labor and refused to offer any compensation for the $1,700 in damage to my floors, the contaminated carpet, or the time I personally had to spend cleaning my kitchen, living room, and dining room after the technician tracked sewage throughout my home. They denied my claim, refused to pay, and treated their "make-up" cleaning as if it erased the damage. Avoid this company at all costs--especially if you're dealing with sensitive cleanup like sewage or flood work. I have photo and video proof of everything. I wouldn't trust them again for even basic cleaning, let alone anything involving water damage.

    I will say this most of the 5 star reviews are paid for by the owners Stephanie and Chris. They have a program they call it that if someone sends them 5 stars on Indeed and online they give the $15 per review. Which I almost think is illegal. Well I will be going to the proper people for that. Since they docked me 3 hours on my check for what exactly?? No explanation but I really don't want one because I watch them rip cleaners off. Ones who they hire and send without back ground checks or even making sure they are trained. And if someone complained about the cleaner they don't pay them the full amount if they even pay them. My favorite is 1 cleaner who has several different emails of you look on their website the very first 3 are all Lorie but different names because that don't look sus at all. I stopped going in as an office person for them because while your dealing with angry customers they will hijack your computer and have you worry about leads that are coming in. They care more about bringing more business they don't have the coverage or cleaners to cover than the customers who have been there and dealing with them for years To speedy cleans customers and the customer service comes dead last. And their lack of professionalism is disgusting. They don't have a "billing dept" or "payroll dept" they have 3 people who jungle who is going to rip whom off. Half the time it's the cleaners. Whom like I said have to hire a ton of because they rip the other ones off. Don't go with this company!!!! The cleaners are not properly screened in any way. Simply a few messages back and forth and they send them to your home! And they charge you a couple hundred to pick up your junk etc. And then turn around and sell it for a ton of money depending on what it is. These people are scammers big time I'd move to the next company

    This was a pre-move in clean on an empty condo. I explained that I wanted the bathrooms and the kitchen cleaned. It wasn't done. The bathtubs weren't cleaned, the shower wasn't cleaned, the mirrors weren't cleaned and the empty appliances weren't wiped down. Even the vacuuming and moping was poorly done. We found glass and coins in the thick carpet and the floor wasn't washed completely. They charge a premium rate for shitty service. Do not use this

    Back in Dec. 2022 Unfortunately, my experience with Speedy Cleans was awful. I can not express the disappointment that I have with your company. After a second chance, Speedy Cleans has still missed the mark. I'm so done and totally over it! I've never had such terrible Cleaners. Oven not cleaned Front door full of dust (on the inside of home) Downstairs kitchenette drawers are still dirty Stainless steel appliances look like they had been cleaned with a wet sponge. Vents should at least be dusted... even if it was with a broom. I feel totally robbed! This home was empty, and the job was NOT hard at all! I have photos of all that was still missed for the second time...a real shame. So no, I will not be looking for service from you in the future, nor will I recommend. Update: As of July 14th 2023 and leaving my honest review on Google, I am now being threaten with a law suit. Apparently Speedy Cleaners felt my review was untrue, even though I have sufficient evidence to support my review. I am not in the business of going on google and leaving false reviews. I've done several reviews and none of them have been malicious. However, I've never had such a horrible experience as this. There service was overpriced, and after giving them a second chance to fix the issues, Speedy Cleaners still managed to fail. I responded to them, asking that they take my private information off of the review and again they failed to do so. I am now being threatened to be sued. In this case I feel I have a claim for a law suit as well.

    While the customer service at the front desk was good, the service itself was awful. I needed a good clean after a bed bug situation, but when I walked in after the service had been done the laundry had not been touched and everything was still filthy. It looked like someone took one Clorox wipe and half-a**ed the job. I called and complained, they offered a free redo or 10% refund for doing nothing. So I took the free redo and was specific as to what needed to be done. This was also terrible, laundry was not touched AGAIN. I called back in, and they said that it was my fault because I didn't warn them my paid laundry machine (which I told them about) was card only. They had told me they could take it off site, which I requested the first time, but then when I complained the second time they told me I didn't specify enough and it was my fault the service failed. I called back, asked for the laundry to be done a 3rd time, to which they scheduled me a $140 service to get it done without asking me -- I found out via email after booking. They already had my card info, so they were presumably about to charge as well. I called back and cancelled as they told me it was my fault. Do not use this service, they seem nice but are terrible at cleaning and blame you for policies you weren't told about.

Well, I'd been trying to get someone on the phone for weeks. My husband has spent thousands with Chem-Dry over the years as they have cleaned for his commercial business'. He has not had issue with them before, but I'm thinking residential accounts may not be priority as they are not big ticket jobs? I'm not sure if they have made the connection between our home and the business'. It is apparent Customer Service and follow up are not aspects they want to bother with as evidenced with our experience. Chem-Dry had ample time to service this and make it right, unfortunately they chose not to. We will be moving on to another company for all of our cleaning needs.

    BUYER BEWARE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!…read more I found this company through an online search when I was in need of move-in cleaning service. With just a few reviews I was a little apprehensive but the owner was nice enough on the phone and rates were comparable to other companies I had talked to. Services were rendered unsupervised. A $53.00 deposit was made in timely fashion 2 days prior to service via PayPal. Subsequent payment was made promptly, after a billing error was made to the originally billing, for $160.50. Total billed services was $213.50 with 6% tax included. The $200 pre-tax cost would assume that 4 hours of services at $50 per hour was completed. Upon closer inspection of my home when I moved in it is unclear to me what, if any, cleaning service was provided. According to the cleaning service description made over the phone, in addition to cleaning all floors, counters, toilets, showers, and sinks the move in clean also included cleaning of baseboards, exterior appliance surfaces, cabinet fronts, shelving, and drawers. With regard to the floors, on my first morning here I walked around barefoot for a few hours and the bottoms of my feet became black from the dust still left on the floor. With regard to the showers, the master bathroom shower floor has soap stains, grout chips and hair clearly left from the previous owners. The guest bathroom tub still appeared to have dust/dirt around the drain. With regard to the baseboards, some may have been cursorily cleaned, others were entirely neglected. With regard to the cabinet shelving and drawers, it appears that all drawers were neglected and only the first level shelving on the main two cabinets was potentially cleaned. The kitchen pantry shelving was not cleaned at all. Neither bedroom closet was cleaned on any surface. Per the service agreement refunds are not given. I discussed my disappointment with the "results" with the owner on multiple occasions for which she was willing to offer an e-certificate (never received) for the full amount paid. A couple of pictures from the date of service were provided to me after multiple emails and phone calls which in no way showed any detail oriented serviced were provided, just that someone had been inside. With so many options for cleaning services, if you want someone trustworthy to provide reliable, high quality service LOOK ELSEWHERE!

HOWEVER, we did NOT expect to have to provide water hoses so the gutters could be cleaned properly. Wonder what would have happened if we didn't have any, or enough for a 2 story house?. MOST IMPORTANTLY, we got NO receipt!! Hubby had to sign a paper stating it was OK to charge for "rest" of service once the guy returned to the office, and yep, no copy of that paper either. There was no mention of emailing a receipt. Nothing. In this day of phone-in charges, Square and the like, this seems to be a poor business practice. Will we call them again? Maybe. The lack of written cost of services and payments made makes us a little uncomfortable
