Okay, to start I didn't personally contract this company. I worked with a realtor who recommended them. The initial quote was $250 for a deep clean of my house (excluding the garage and the basement). I'll note that my house is generally very clean; when the cleaners arrived, my house was not in bad shape at all. Initially, 3 women showed up. I let them in and they began do what they do, not long after another woman and the owner Sergio showed up. At no point did Sergio speak to me about the services or what they were doing; they just all seemed to be busy cleaning. My personal opinion is the service was okay, but they ended up charging me $407 for additional deep cleaning. This wasn't communicated to me, and to be honest, any additional time they spent cleaning was entirely due to their lack of urgency not what was actually needed. I called and complained; and they decreased the fee to $365. I have no problem paying for a service, however I think this interaction was a not very good, and I'm not happy with how it appeared they were just trying to take advantage of the situation. The costs of this service compared to the work I actually feel they did doesn't line up. If you charge for additional time, it should be very clear where or why that time is needed; I feel they (the cleaners) moved at a pace that didn't allow them to complete the service in a reasonable time. read more

DO NOT let this cleaning company clean for you! Extremely unprofessional customer service (and the cleaning job is not the best either). Sergio (the owner I guess??) was very rude to me when I canceled the night before my scheduled appointment and claimed that he did not receive a phone call and was talking about how there is a fee for cancellation and that he was going to call Comcast to see if I actually did call (which I left a detailed voice mail and I had a screen shot to prove it). We hired S&J to do a deep clean of our house to put it up for sale. They were hired to clean the baseboards and tile throughout the house as well as the oven and microwave. There were supposed to be two people cleaning and only one showed up over an hour late. We actually had to call to find out where they were since we had not heard from anyone. They had almost no cleaning supplies, especially anything you would expect from a professional company coming to do a deep clean. The current state of all of our surfaces show they used the same rag throughout the entire house. There is a dirty residue over almost everything, including tile backsplashes and stainless steel range hood. They never even touched the oven or microwave. It was $300 for 3 hours of work which I would happily pay if it actually looked like someone cleaned it. I would definitely not recommend as I'm now going through my entire house again with an actual bucket of cleaning solution and clean rags to redo the entire house before showings start. read more

We wanted to schedule a regular cleaning service with S & J. This required us to do first a deep cleaning visit. I was surprised by the unprofessionalism for their very first deep clean visit. The first visit cost us 9+ man-hours @45$/hour for a typical moderate-sized house. In the end, there were many surfaces left dusty, countertops not wiped clean. Things were left disorganized (e.g. our Japanese floor seating mattress on top of the couch, dustbin on top of a desk in the kids room, and other stuff left in a disarray). The team was in a rush to get to the next job. After this "deep clean" we decided not to continue their service even though we paid hefty first visit charges. Initial communication was spotty, but no worries. We wanted to support local business. The day of the cleaning though they didn't show up and I received no phone call or email warning me they would be late. I left 2 messages with them and finally an hour later they told me they'd be arriving 2 hours after the scheduled time. This was an inconvenience, but no worries. Luckily I had the day off. They did a servicable job of cleaning. They didn't do a good job on upstairs toilet but everything else was done well so no worries. We got a small discount for our trouble and when the invoice came I sent them the check. They called 2 weeks later asking for payment and I told them I had already sent a check. I told them I sent it to the address on the invoice. They said ok and I don't hear anything more until I get a new invoice with the discount canceled and a new higher charge requested because the bill was past due. Now THAT made me mad and was the last straw. I wasn't going to write a bad review until then. To not just call me and ask me to send a new check but instead send a new invoice with a higher charge is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SENT PAYMENT AND YOU LOST IT. I WILL SEND PAYMENT AGAIN IF YOU NEED, BUT THERE IS NO NEED TO CHARGE ME A HIGHER PRICE FOR THE COURTESY OF FIXING YOUR MISTAKE. I won't be working with them again. Just arrived home to a very carefully and well-cleaned home. Sergio was responsive to my concerns about billing and has completely worked out the payment problems. Plus his training in computer science means we now receive automatic email reminders the night before. The service is still friendly and caring; they are even careful not to let my wily new kitten trick them into letting him out. Every business has its hiccups, but not many make good on them.
