We were selling our house and the perspective buyer picked speedy to pump and inspect our septic system, it was found to have a few issues that needed to be repaired. The technician that did the work said it would be around 8,500 dollars but the office would email me a more accurate estimate. I received the estimate and it was nearly 13,000 dollars. At that point I called the septic company I had used for years, they agreed all of the work needed to be done, they pulled the permits and did all of the work for 7,200. Also the original quote to just pump the tank out was 700-1200 depending on the tank size, my bill was 1900, when I complained, they dropped it down to the $1200 read more

The men who came did a fine job. I am just surprised that I have to pay $108.72 booking fee to make an appointment and then $1637.28 to get the tank pumped. I can see charging me if I cancel or don't get anything done, but it doesn't seem right to charge me to make an appointment and then charge me to do the work. I am glad that is not how it works at my dentist, hair dresser, auto mechanic, doctor... You get the point. read more

We had Speedy Septic come to our house to perform a very simple task concerning our septic tank. The bill for one hour was $661.00. When I asked about the charges they told me that they charge $478 an hour for their technicians and an additional charge for diagnosis. I will not use them again. read more

Had Speedy Septic pump out my tank back in October 2025. They found several issues that needed repair at that time. A month later they performed the repairs. They never permitted the work with the county. Never once addressed permit process with me. I have repeatedly requested they file for the permits both by email and by phone. Promises made by them to start the permit process but to date they have done nothing. They will not respond to my emails or phone calls. Beware. Funny how so many 5 star reviews here contain the names Jason and Jake. There's a reason for that. When you have no drainage you basically have no home. No toilets, sinks, shower, etc. I found them to be extremely professional and did whatever it took to find and fix my problem and get my home back in working order. Scam alert!!! They will falsely try to state something is damaged on your septic to make more money!!! This company stated that my distribution box was failing and falling apart and would cost me thousands to repair. I received 2 second opinions and another septic company to inspect again and there was nothing wrong with the box. They stated to me that you would need to dig up the box to see if it was failing. The water was flowing like it was suppose to in the pipes and the other company stated it was fine. They are supper expensive to pump . And they were scamming me into giving them thousands of dollars for something i did not need to do. read more

Speedy Septic (Jason and Ryan) came to our rescue. We had mistakenly called a "stinky" company in October of 2021 and paid $450 for basically nothing. They said they pulled 1,000 gal from our tank but Jason and Ryan came out in December 2021 because we were having major issues. They showed me how the previous, "stinky", company had been lazy. Taking only the liquid waste and not solid that had been backed up for years. If a Septic tank is cleaned properly, i shouldn't need service again in 2 mos. Prior to calling the first, "stinky" company, it had been 5 years since the last clean out. 2 mos is outrageous! After charging us almost twice the price for a pump out and inspection for the sale of our house (they gouge home sellers since the timeline is generally short therefore you can't use their "coupons") they told the buyers we needed a whole new tank due to a "leaking seam". When we brought out our own company to get another opinion we discovered not only had Speedys not actually gone in the tank to inspect it (there was a bar that took 2 people and a pulley to move to allow for room), but ours was a seamless tank! After years of trying to get a permit for a new septic tank rather than hooking to the sewer (because the laws of physics won't let a sewage pipe work from our house to the road without $$$$$$$$$$) we got the permit approval from the city. We had a bad experience with a competitor who never called us back for MONTHS (me in an italian accent "What? is our money not good enough?!?!)...so we were on the hunt for a new company to help us out. After an initial meeting with Jared from Speedy we had a quote back in just a day or so. It was shocking! We had to call the last guys for months to get any response and then they never responded at all at the end. So, when Jared got right back to us with a reasonable quote we were ecstatic! We waited until the weather settled and called them up and said we were ready for the Big Event (TM). In just a couple days we had a bunch of trucks and people at our house and the removal and install went so fast and so easily that if there wasn't a bare area in our yard still, you'd never know they had ever been here. ...Except also that I am no longer afraid to laundry and run the dishwasher at the same time hah... Five stars for the workers who came out and inspected the septic system at the house we were purchasing. Also Laura in the office jumped in and made things happen when a second inspection was needed. They found issues and actually suggested replacing the tank. Asking for what was needed to get approximate costs, they said their project manager would need to get back to me. After an initial effort to solve the problem, they came back and took pictures from inside the pipe connecting the septic system me and my neighbor share. When they returned, they were able to minimally disrupt the landscape from having accurately identified the issue - no easy task BTW. They worked on it for 10 hours straight as the true extent of the problem came to light after digging began. Jake and Clifford were professional, patient, and perfectionists and they explained the process to me as it unfolded. What more could one ask for? Cost was $800! I'll give 2 stars because they were informative and did a good job. I'm holding back from 1 star, I felt the person on the phone was not at all clear about the pricing, I was led to believe it would be around $300-$400. She said most people had 500 gallon tanks (new house first pump, the guy who came said it would never be 500 gallon unless at a cabin). Its 1000 gallon tank, to be fair there was a $125 extra charge because it wasn't accessible from road they had to dig a small hole in back yard and I hadn't mentioned that. Again they did a good job but I recommend being extra clear on price and repeat to confirm multiple times as the quote was more about getting the appointment booked not being truthfuland informative. That was a huge extra expense, almost triple the price of others in the area. read more

I'd avoid this company at all cost. Working with them has been a nightmare. Their pumping prices are typically twice what others charge and their "diagnosis" of a problem recently cost us the sale of our home. I've had them out annually for 6 years to check our sandfilter system and was always told everything was working good. Over those 6 years, they've replaced all the floats and the pump. Had them out last year in response to the alarm going off and they charged $395 just for the service call and another $620 to replace a float. Told us that there was some infiltration in the first tank due to a crack in the riser. Made it sound like a minor issue; said it wouldn't cost much to dig around the riser and pour some concrete to fix the problem. But they couldn't tell me the cost at the time; said it wouldn't be much. Potential buyer of our house talked to Speedy, with my permission, and received a quote of about $3200 to fix the one riser. Came back later on another call, pumped 600 gallons at almost a dollar a gallon and told me the infiltration was in all three risers. After repeated calls to Speedy, I couldn't get them to send me a quote to fix all three risers. At that time the potential buyers withdrew their offer and we proceeded to fix the problem prior to putting the house back on the market. Hired another local septic company to repair the risers and they quoted me a little over $1500 to fix all 3 risers which compared to Speedy's quote of over $3200 to fix 1 riser. They came out and did the work; said only one riser had to be replaced, resealed the second riser and said the third riser had no problems. Charged me $575 for that work. In preparation to putting our house back on the market to sell, we had another septic company come out to pump and inspect the system and was told that the tanks and risers were fine the two lines from the sandfilter to the drainfield is full of dirt which will cost at least $10,000 to replace. This is the same system that Speedy had told us annually that everything was good. Never again will I work with Speedy. read more

If you want to overpay and be the victim of upselling by the turd pumpers this is your company. They charged $150 more than another local company for pumping the tank. My system had a blockage. They sent out the pump truck. Those guys did fine pumping the tank out but then proceeded to tell me that my whole drain field was bad and they would have a project manager call me the next day to quote a replacement system. This diagnosis was based on nothing other than there past experience. They wanted to break a hole in my drain pipe to prove it which I didn't let them do. A week later a project manager called to set up an appointment. Like I could have waited a week with a blocked line. Never using them again. read more

They're not the cheapest to pump out your tank, but after a visit from a company one might say offered affordable prices, I now have a great appreciation for Speedy Septic. The other guy noted a broken clean out port that was under pressure due to the clogged line. He said "septic tank is fine, just glue that port shut so it stops leaking." (!!!) We ended up needing to have the line jetted by a pro, and I fixed the clean out so it can be used properly in the future. Their prices are not the cheapest, but they are not crazy either. From the time I made the call until the service had been completed, my experience with Speedy Septic was perfect. I forgot who answered the phone when I first contacted this business, but I do remember that she was A HUMAN! 3 rings, bam: a real human being, answering the phone in her very pleasant human voice. She was eager to answer all of my questions, and she did so with the friendly confidence one would expect from someone who knew everything about the business she represented. I made an appointment and Andrew and Austin showed up ahead of time. Andrew called me beforehand to ask if it was okay to come early. They were very friendly and efficient. My septic tank was an old design, so they couldn't completely empty it. Andrew said that if I created access to the other side of the tank (I did my own digging to save money), they would come back and finish at no extra charge. I opened up the other side, and Speedy Septic kept its word and sent Gavin and Chris back a few days later to complete the job, at no extra charge. Gavin and Chris were also very friendly and professional, and they gladly answered my new questions about proper septic system care and maintenance. I'm a tough critic when it comes to rating business experiences, and have written some bad ones - which were well-deserved. This is a 2 part review. About 4 months ago are tank was full and wasn't draining backing up into the tub. They pumped the tank and serviced the system; said our system was in perfect condition and we wouldn't need to service again for 3 years and pump in about 5 years. Thought all was good. My husband says it hasn't sounded like it has been fully draining since. Now we have a draining/backup flooding the bathroom issue again - called Speedy Septic. It was over the weekend and I left 3 messages on their 24-hr emergency number over a 12 hour period -finally spoke with the office on Monday (Nicole was great). They came and took care of the issue - the original service was warranted so there was no cost. read more
