I wish I could a -2 for this location. Crack in windshield DH called them., they came to our house and replaced the windshield. 4 months later had to park the car outside in bad weather. Windshield leaked like a sieve. DH called them couldn't get in for a week. The tech saw it said he couldn't find the leak, put tape on the windshield, said to park it outside and see if it still leaks. He also claimed that it was probably the antenna cuz that's a problem with our make of car. Car sat out overnight in the rain, checked it in the morning a ton of water is coming in the car., The tape didn't hold. Called that day , (Saturday) they didn't return call. DH calls on Monday and they tell us can't get it in until Friday due to scheduling issues. When I said that was too far out, she proceeded to lecture me on WA labor laws. Really??!! She finally called the district manager and got us an appointment on Wednesday. We will see what happens then but I am not happy with the way this whole situation has been handled by them. read more

My other half called around to get her windshield replaced and this was the lowest price and now we know why. She set up the appointment through the 800 number and told them exactly what vehicle she had and the options and setup an appointment for Tuesday morning. I dropped her car off and killed an hour. When I go back to pick up the car they say that the one they got wont work because the mirror mount is wrong because she has the heated seat option. I asked how that mattered and then they said the factory mirror was different than the factory mirror. At this point I was done with the lies and wasted time. Not once did I get a "we screwed up and ordered the wrong glass" I just got excuses. So I asked them what they were doing and they said they were ordering the correct one and it would be in tomorrow (Wednesday). I asked them to call me to make sure it was truly correct. Wednesday I waited till well after they said it would be in and would have called me and I finally called them. I was assured it was the correct one and when I asked why I didn't get a call they acted like I didn't even ask that question. I asked when it was going to be installed ( the other half spoke with them to get it installed at her work) and they said it would be between 1 pm and 3pm at her work on Thursday and they would call her. At 3:47 pm the installer calls me (not her) asking for the address which she had given them and when I point out the install was between 1 pm and 3pm and it was after 3 the installer said he still had time at which I responded it was between 1 and 3. They installed the glass but at this point we do not have any faith in the product, support or the company at all. It was a bunch of lies and screw ups that they wanted to blame on anything else. The only thing they did correctly was take her money on Tuesday as she paid via phone. The customer service sucked, the woman running the place was rude and they never ever apologized. Our car got broken into on Sunday. These guys were able to replace my broken window the same day: called at 9am on Monday and got scheduled at 4. By 4:45 the broken glass was vacuumed, glass repaired and opening the car window was working as expected. I was truly impressed with the volume of work they were covering between Christmas and New Years and, despite that, I saw everybody leaving happy. Super shady business dealings. Don't trust them when the order is custom and don't be stupid like me and pay them before they deliver on their promises because they are apparently OK with lying and stealing from their customers. It was our first time using Speedy Glass. They came out to the house and gave me a quote to replace some cracked windows, window screens and a screen door. They took almost two weeks to come back with the parts because they were waiting for the screen door. When they arrived, they still didn't have the screen door but said it was on the way. Weeks went by and I made several attempts over several months to find out where my screen door was but eventually gave up. The company (person answering the phones) would say they were looking into it but they would never call me back. Not sure why any business would want to take such a negative hit for something so cheap as a screen door. It says a lot about how the business is managed though. Customer satisfaction is clearly not a high priority. read more

My experience started on January 4 and to today, February 14, it is still going on. I went to this location because it was close to home and my husband had other windshields replaced here. After the new windshield was replaced we could hear a whistling sound coming from the windshield. Called the shop, reported our problem and we were told we needed to wait a week for the sound to disappear. After the week, we called for an appointment, which took another week due to scheduling problems. Picked up car after they reset the glass, still whistled. Called for our third appointment, again with a scheduling problem. Took it back, they worked on it, called to say it was done. Upon picking the car up we were told that they had driven the car for a half hour and nobody could hear a thing. I got in it to drive home. IT STILL WHISTLED!! I called my husband when I got home and he called the shop. He was told they could not do anything more. The problem was ours. REALLY???? I will never use the shop again. I shall tell my children, grandchildren and friends never to use the services of Speedy Auto Glass. As far as I am concerned this location has put a black 'eye' on all the shops. This place saved us from another vendor we had selected months before. The other company was extremely unresponsive after having picked them randomly. I selected Speedy Glass after reading a few reviews and confirming my insurance company would let me work with them. They answered the phone after a few rings and scheduled us for less than 3 days out, arrived on time, and finished within the quoted window in our home driveway. The technician explained everything he was doing and gave us clear instructions on how NOTt to screw it up over the next few hours (e.g., don't get a car wash, leave the blue tape on for x hours). Extremely poor service and customer service. They had changed my appointment 2 different times giving me the run around why they changed it from a mobile service appointment to an at shop appointment then I get to my appointment and they tell me I told them the wrong window which was incorrect and rude, then told me they were going to have to reschedule again to the following day because they needed to order the right window. Then there tech tells the manager that they were going to have to charge me extra bc of a permanent interior panel. I went and looked at it and told them it was not permanent and was only held in by clips. She immediately started to have an attitude with me because I told her I didn't want to pay extra because I knew they were clips and 2 they had me running around waiting on them. After I left the shop I had actually checked to make sure they were ACTUALLY CLIPS WHICH THEY WERE. The manager obviously lied to me saying she had talked to the dealership because they told her it was permanent. That clearly wasn't true bc they were clips and the dealer wouldn't lie for no reason. I then called back to let them know that they were indeed clips and that they should let there tech know to check before telling a customer they are going to need to pay more. The reception lady immediately had an attitude with me and hung up the phone. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The whole time I was waiting in there office waiting for them to do absolutely nothing to my vehicle the manager kept walking around frantically talking out loud about her employees and how they can't do there job correctly and blah blah blah,not something that you say in front of customers. Bottom line if you want to be treated with respect and have a little bit of customer service DO NOT COME HERE. Safelite AutoGlass scheduled my appointment in 5 minutes after that for the following day. Also the Safelite AutoGlass phone operator was paitent had customer service and very respectful. We had made an appointment to replace a windshield. All went well with the repair, but what happened after was less than acceptable. The tech brought in the paperwork for a signature and left with the keys to my truck which included the keys to our facility. I did not realize this until I was ready to leave since the tech got a signature from one of my employees. Zero afterhours number but I did leave a message on their answering machine at 630pm expressing to them the issue and the need to get my keys back to me ASAP. They open at 8am, no call back to me. Called and spoke to the call center twice since the Bothell store was not answering. Once at 833am and again at 944am. The call center had to keep calling for me, apparently my message was not important enough to deserve a return call. I finally received a call back at 1152am......3 hours and 52 minutes after they opened, just to speak to a lady that couldn't care less about what had happened or any issues the transaction had created. She instantly denied any responsibility and would not CC me in an email to her boss. Basically its my fault that he had my keys and it's not her problem. I deal with customers all day every day. Some experiences are good, some are not so good, in either case the customer is heard and we make it right to the best of our ability. This is not the case with Speedy Glass of Bothell, they get your money and that's all that matters. The tech that brought me my keys back was very apologetic and seems like a really good dude but.... We as a company will never do business with them again, I will have them removed as a vendor. If I am ever asked about glass repair/replacement by any of my colleagues, customers, or friends, I will not remember to tell them this company's name. If your looking for good service, look somewhere else. read more

They were able to get us in the morning after we called, the office staff was very friendly and helpful, they did a good job of cleaning up all the broken glass, installed the new window correctly and I was on my way. I don't know how all the other reviewers had such a good experience. We had them come out recently to replace our windshield of our van. They told us they would be here between 1pm and 5pm and would give us a call 30 min before they came. At 4:30 we still hadn't heard from them (after sitting around waiting for them all afternoon) so we called. They said the tech got held up but would be there before 5. We didn't even get a call from the tech until 5:20 and then he didn't show up for another 15 min. It then took him an hour and a half to replace the windshield. To top it all off, everyone leaves the office at 5 so we couldn't even contact anyone after that. When we called them the next morning they seemed to care less about our time wasted waiting for them. What a waste of a whole afternoon and evening. Needless to say, we will not be returning and we would never recommend them to anyone we know. read more

Only giving them a one star bc I can't give them anything less.. Ladies at the counter are nice and professional. Trying to talk to certain techs in the back to explain the issue is a whole other story. I had my windshield replaced and I had such a large leak the my passenger side carpet was soaked and smelling. Tried to explain what I had noticed, all the sudden another tech walked over from working on another car when I wasn't even talking to him and starts shooting down what I was explaining when they hadn't even started looking at the car yet. They finally start looking at the car and do tests. After a while they call the lady from the front over. She then calls me back to show me on the car where the leak is coming from to continue by saying that it's not caused by them and there's nothing they can do to fix it since they didn't cause it. When they clearly did, I've owned the car for years with no leak. All the sudden after they replace the windshield it leaks like a mother.. And where the leak was coming from was right under a gap in the cowling that keeps water from going where it is... I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!! read more
