Came back and watched my windshield massively crack before my eyes as I drove so knew I already had some small cracks and the inevitable arrived. Did some researching online and saw some good reviews with Wind-Tech, so went for it. I think I remember initially doing messaging here on yelp directly with Bob before moving over to texting. He was very responsive. If I remember correctly, we did have to reschedule once due to the rain on his request- Bob's service is mobile and at that time I did not have roof cover for him. Made sense that install is no good in the rain. I was working remotely at the time of install which makes Bob's mobile service just perfect for the busy home bee. Anyways, Bob came on time and was CRAZY quick and good. He was professional, kind, and straight-forward. He even was able to transfer stickers and my Good-to-Go pass from old to new glass! Everything in my car looked exactly how it was, with the addition of a new windshield, of course! If I remember correctly, he said it would take up to two hours but he finished essentially in one hour. Flexible mobile payment . As I quoted around, his prices were very reasonable and finishing service was nothing short of great. I would highly recommend Wind-Tech/Bob and even suggested him to friends/family. Also, he was able to match my factory glass (an '08 Acura MDX), which was a huge initial worry for me (I'm all about OEM). All around it was a great experience and I was a satisfied customer. After going to pick up my car and getting in, I noticed all of the mud that had been tracked in from the workers as they worked in/moved my car to work on the wind shield. I had brushed most of it off before leaving and decided to let it go. After getting home, and getting out of my car, I realized there is now a dent in the trim. After calling them today to see what they could do to resolve the issue, they claimed they didn't know how mud could have gotten in my car, nor could they have dented the trim in any way. And that there was nothing they would be willing to do to resolve the issue. This is literally the only review I have written in my life and I'm not one to constantly write reviews for petty things. But to pay to have a windshield replaced and have your car returned like this, is unacceptable.

I had to point it out three times before they finally fixed it and even then, it was a half-effort job. Second, the glass itself was installed poorly. When I drive on the freeway, I can hear all the road noise from the back no sound insulation at all, like the glass was just slapped on. Cheap, sloppy work. On top of that, they charged around $900 for a single piece of glass. That's not cheap money, and the quality does not come close to matching the price. I recently purchased a car which had a couple of minor blemishes in need of repair. The dealership…read morefrom whom I purchased the vehicle agreed to take care of a minor scuff on the front bumper as well as a scratched interior leather door panel. Since they were authorizing (and paying for) these repairs, they provided me with a list of Everett-area body shops to whom I could take the car. It was a very short list and I chose Gerber because they had decent reviews and were close to me. From the moment I walked in their lobby, I was impressed with everyone's friendliness, thoroughness, and communication. But here's the best part: the General Manager (Susanne) looked my car over and strongly suggested some additional work that the Dealership had not (but should have) authorized. Rather than just accepting this insurance claim and starting the work, she made a point of really analyzing the damage and suggesting what ultimately proved to be a much better and thorough repair. The car now looks wonderful and Gerber's work was perfect. I could not be happier. My only "nit" was they have an automated texting system that tells you the status of your vehicle. It was a bit kludgy throughout the process. For example, the day my car was finished, Susanne called me to say I could come pick it up. Their texting system texted me that same morning that the car wouldn't be ready until the following week. But I'm sure they'll work those systems out.
