I do not recommend this company. I hired them to replace the rear glass on my 2024 Tesla Model Y. First, during the job they damaged the plastic trim inside the trunk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to point it out three times before they finally fixed it and even then, it was a half-effort job.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Second, the glass itself was installed poorly. When I drive on the freeway, I can hear all the road noise from the back no sound insulation at all, like the glass was just slapped on. Cheap, sloppy work. On top of that, they charged around $900 for a single piece of glass. That's not cheap money, and the quality does not come close to matching the price. Called at least 6 other glass repair services and shops. 2 gave me at least double and triple of what Chip Happens estimate gave me. The other 4 didn't even have the time of day to answer the phone. However Chip Happens and more specifically Patrick answered the phone, were friendly and cooperative with me. Once I got the estimate and they let me schedule, they were even willing to bump up the day of the windshield due to me needing it replaced for an emergency. Chip's is most deserving of its 5 star rating... I obtained quotes from about 6 different glass repairers and they all quoted roughly the same amount for the job. Chip's was the one and only that charged noticeably less, and Chip's is what I went with. Although, I had to wait a week from the time of my quote to the day of the job for the glass to come in, it was all worth it in the end, as Patrick kept to his word, got the glass in, and fixed my window when he said he was going to.
