I still do not have a receipt. I paid in good faith and need a receipt for my insurance company yet all I get jn texts when I keep following up is 'OK' ....nope NOT since he still hasn't sent it. What business does not provide a receipt after the job is complete and the customer has paid? He should have left a receipt at the shop yesterday if he wasn't going to be there. Today he has ignored me (other than saying 'OK' when I sent him the letter from my insurance company requesting proof of payment and repairs.) In addition, my car was not ready when I was told it would be and there was a layer of dust all throughout the inside when I picked it ip. They didn't even bother to wipe it down. Lastly Alfonso tried to get me to pay him the full balance before my car was even ready. I gave him $2500 to buy parts and start the job. He then asked for the $2000 balance over the weekend saying the guys had worked hard to finish before Father's Day and he wanted to pay them. I said no and it is curious that my car wasn't finished when I came on Monday afternoon. If they all worked so hard, why was the car unfinished?? This shop is ran by true scammers, Alfonso and his assistant Judy, are the definition of unprofessional, dishonest, and unsafe. I trusted them with my car for what was supposed to be a simple 1-2 week repair. They demanded money upfront, claiming to be a "small mom-and-pop shop" that needed the funds to buy parts. To speed things up, I Zelled them the money. Instead of doing the work, Alfonso gave me excuse after excuse, blaming my insurance, blaming suppliers, blaming anyone but himself. Meanwhile, my car sat on their lot for 30 days (untouched and unrepaired) in the Texas heat. When I finally requested a refund and to take my car elsewhere, Alfonso and Judy turned hostile and aggressive. I was verbally attacked and had to call the police just to retrieve my car. By that time, the battery was dead from sitting unused for so long and I now have to pay for another one. They refused to provide any repair timeline, refused to return the money I had already paid, and their negligence forced me to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for rental cars. Alfonso continues to string me along with empty promises of a Zelle refund, claiming his business "needs to make more money first" before he can pay me back. Imagine that level of dishonesty. After researching further, I discovered I'm not the only victim. The BBB and other review sites are filled with similar complaints about this shop taking money (including insurance payouts) and failing to perform repairs. This is not a one-time mistake, it's a pattern and a scheme. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any business. The lack of professionalism, ethics, and basic human decency is shocking. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even for something as simple as an oil change. These reviews are clearly fake. They took two weeks longer than anticipated to fix it. They called to tell me my car was fixed on a Thursday. I purchased a flight and arrived on a Saturday to pick it up, it was still unpainted. No one knew anything, I had to purchase a flight back without a car. No one could tell me why I was called to come pick up my car and it wasn't ready. I should've known then I was in for some sh*t. When it was finally fixed, I took it to another collision shop in Houston to inspect the job. Because even to my untrained eye, I saw blemishes in the paint, misaligned panels, they didn't even put the Infiniti badge back on my car They laughed at how poorly done the job was. The shop said they hadn't seen work like this in a minute. Speedy billed my insurance company for OEM replacement of parts but they actually just did shoddy work to fix the old parts and thought I wouldn't notice. A fraud investigation is pending. I'm very sorry to leave a such bad review to a business, normally I don't do that and I don't like doing that, but they do really deserve it and I wish this will help other people to avoid going through the same pain I had to go through with them. Around May 25th, the year of this review (2022), my wife got involved in a rear end collision and her car got severely damaged. Multiple parts had to be replaced and other few paints and fixes were needed. We got the car back just yesterday (August 10), more than 2 months, and is not even completely repaired. Apparently, they found out some other broken parts just yesterday (August 10) and, in conclusion, I have now to carry around the spare tire in my trunk, hopefully it won't take other 2 month to get this fixed. UPDATE on 10/21/2022 Still waiting! Overall was the most painful process I had to go through, I've never got an update or follow-up call with them. After more than a month no hearing anything back I decided to stay on top of that and with a bitter surprise I found out that nothing was done till that moment, apparently not even the parts were ordered. Last few days have been a total nightmare, till I received the very last call saying the car was ready, and in fact, it wasn't! Very frustrating. Overall... Many people warn you in these reviews, take it very serious. We recently took our sons Infiniti to Speedy for air bag repair. When we picked up the car we notice the traction system light is on. We were told the traction system was working but they couldn't get the light to turn off. "If your son can live with that light being on, you'll be fine" 10 days later (the first rain after picking up the car) my son had a horrible accident as he hydroplaned and lost control on I-35 totaling his car. Absolutely Horrible March 18 - I paid upfront for the part and repair to my side mirror (so they would agree to order the part while I kept my vehicle.) May 4 - More than a month later, after being told 3 times that they were having trouble getting the correct part, I requested a refund. April - For another month, I was told that the owner had approved the refund, but no one was authorized to actually issue it. At this point, it's been 9 weeks since I paid them, with no work being done, and they refuse to return my money. June 17 - I was finally able to speak to the owner, Alfonso. He was incredibly rude from the moment he got on the phone, and he was aware of the situation. He said he would refund my money, but I would have to pay the restocking fee. I told him that wasn't acceptable, since the reason I requested the refund was that they couldn't get the part, and that I would have to pursue legal action (and would include recovery of the legal fees in the action). He informed me that he has plenty of money so that doesn't scare him and t that and if I want to wait a year for my money that's great. I said I would request the money from him via Zelle, since that's how I paid, and if he would just send it back we could put all of this behind us. He said I could do that, but not today and he would have to look up how much the restocking fee is (back to that?!) When I mentioned that I've already waited a long time to get my money back he said "But this is the first time you've talked to me" I told him that I had requested to talk to him, and requested that he call me, many times (I said it with a laugh) at which point he started fake laughing and said "If you're going to laugh, I will laugh too." Compared to most accidents, the damages were minor with Speedys giving me an initial time estimation of one week. Now, it's the end of the third full week and I'm about to receive my car. What bothered me the most about the shop was that they do not communicate anything about the car. First, there was a time lapse in them receiving the check from my insurance. I wouldn't have known this unless I called in. They made it sound like this was the reason for the delay. But no, even when the check was received, the car wasn't going to be ready. I had to call in urgently asking for the car to be ready by the end of the third week so I could go to my graduation. I am currently waiting for my car now... two and a half hours after they promised the car would be ready. Would've been nice to receive a phone call for an update once in a while, but maybe that's asking too much? This is the Second time that I've had a great experience in dealing with Alfonso Martell, the Owner of Speedy Collision Repair in Plano. The first time was when a former Speedy employee at a competitor's business recommended that Alfonso could probably do quality body repair job at a lower cost. He was indeed right! Then I recently had accidentally backed into a short post in a parking lot and damaged my rear bumper cover. I took it to another competitor and they gave me a quote of a Zillion dollars to remove, paint and install a brand-new OEM bumper assembly. I visited with Alfonso and he said why go through all that when he could patch things and exactly match the metallic paint. And guess what? The repair made my car look brand new and there was no way to tell that any damage ever had been done! A+++ and hats off to Alfonso and his team! read more

So the short story: I got t-boned by an suv during the star wars premier and the suv drove off and left me with my driver side of my car completely destroyed. The long story: my car was destroyed in a hit and run and after going to several different shops to get quoted I finally found speedy Collison repair! I am completely impressed with Alfonso and his team, not only did they cover my deductible, but they are the friendliest team I've seen in years! It took a while to get my car back, but that's my fault cause I was smart enough to bring it in two days before new years eve so it doesn't upset me at all and they made sure to go over the car after the repairs were complete to check for any errors! Just the worse experience ever. 1. We didn't have insurance and would pay out of pocket. 2. Called Alonso to get a set quote and he said 8k (mind you they fixed a car before -$5k- and said this one would be less) 3. We let him know we couldn't do 8k he said he could fix it for 6k and said it would be done well to not worry. We agreed. 4. They want 3k to start on the car. We take it a few days later 5. They start calling for the remainder 3k when the car isn't even complete. 6. They call to say the car is complete. We go and notice the car is still in the shop not complete. So we leave and don't even tell them we were there and wait for them to call again to say the car is complete. 7. They call again asking for the money. We tell them we have the money. But yet again. The car isn't complete. 8. We take them $1k so they can stop calling and actually spend time working on the car. 9. We get a call that the car is complete but that it'll be an additional $150. Mind you they gave us a set quote. 10. We pick up the car without paying the additional $150 due to Alonso giving us a set quote. 11. We get home and review the car. The whole inside is a mess. (Our mistake was we paid them and didn't review the car in the lot) I hope with a few calls they'll be able to fix the mess they created. Car was left worse from the inside then when it was dropped off. The pictures that were taken and send to Alonso were bad, he said the pictures didn't do justice and to bring it in. We did and when we showed him the issues, Parts that were messed with were broken and the interior wasn't put back together. On top of it all Alonso response to how the car was left was "you get what you paid for" 6k to fix the car and he promised he would leave it in great conditions. Alonso reviewed the car and having a few yells about how he's Christian and wouldn't steal (he made the stealing comment because he claims he bought a new part for the car but his son said it was used) made a comment saying I can fix it but if you have an accident the roof will fall on you but that wouldn't be my fault! Like really? The owner of the shop is saying that he'll fix it but will not do it correctly? This was just bazaar. This is the second car we leave Here (the first one we didn't have any issues but that he added $500 at pick up) so we decided to go back to this shop. Alonso did ask to go in the office but after he said he would "TRY" to fix it but that if we wrecked the roof would fall? We left and have to think of the next step to take about this whole situation. My wife had an accident and we needed a new bumper and brackets on the front end and the passenger quarter panel had a dent and also needed paint. I dropped the car off on Wednesday but couldn't find a car rental anywhere. They came to my rescue by fixing my car in 1 day since I had no way of getting around other than Lyft. I'd recommend Speedy Collision Repair. My bumper was in bad shape--I kept having to repeatedly duct tape both sides of the bumper on pretty much every day to keep it from falling/popping off, and my fender was dented in so that I couldn't open my passenger door all the way, plus my bumper undercarriage was shredded and obstructing things, I had had enough. I called them on a Friday right before they closed and the front desk lady was very friendly and said to come in for an estimate. Alfonso, who was super nice, personable, and informative, came out to greet me and take a look at my car--said that he could make me a deal and do the fender, bumper, and undercarriage, replacement and paint job, for 800, which seemed like a good deal to me (they ordered the part and had it by the next day). I brought it in first thing Saturday morning at 8, and they said they'd try their best to have it done in one day. Another one of their employees (I wish I could remember his name!) was nice enough to give me a ride home in his car. They got it done promptly by 3 pm that afternoon. The paint job looked great! I was super excited with it. You can't tell from the pic that it matches because my old paint job is faded. They didn't do the stripe to match simply because the paint was still a bit wet I think, and they wanted to have me back on the road by the end of the day (totally fine with that), but said I could come back and get it done later. They had a nice comfy couch to sit on while they were finishing up at the very end. I'm just happy to have my bumper not falling off and my passenger door opening up all the way again. I want to start off by saying my car looks INCREDIBLE. I was in a very bad wreck where both the front driver side and the rear passenger side were extremely damaged- I'm talking crushed, paint chipped, broken lights, dented, etc. You would never have a clue I was even in a wreck with how nice it looks now. They did a spectacular job. Marcos, Alfonso and Carlos are all extremely kind. The reason I took off one star was due to a couple things. I've taken my Lexus in twice to be fixed and both times, the day before it was supposed to be ready for pick up, when I called they told me I had another issue that needed fixing and would cost hundreds more. The first time it was a light, so I just told them to leave the old one (and ended up with two different brightnesses on my front lights). The second time I had them go ahead and fix the issue. My only other grievance was this last time I had it fixed here (earlier this month), when I called and found out it was ready to be picked up, my father and I drove up to get it. When I got in and headed down the highway to go home, I realized the alignment was still extremely off, ontop of that, when I went over 40mph it was like the back two tires had no control and the car would veer left to right (just as it did after the crash) and I was scared I was going to crash again. Also several of the check engine lights and warning lights were left on. So needless to say, I was frustrated after paying $4900 out of pocket. HOWEVER... I called Carlos, told him everything still having issues and he told me to bring it back immediately. Without hesitation, they fixed every last remaining problem. Now my Lexus looks perfect and drives perfect. In conclusion, because of how they handled these last issues and because of how wonderful their work is, I will be a customer for life. I have referred and will continue to refer friends here. If I could offer any advice to a potential client, it would just be to go over everything that needs to be fixed so you can get a price for everything up front, and when its ready to take home, do a highway test drive to make sure all is right! Alfonso and his team work very hard at what they do. They repaired my Black Label Lincoln MKZ after a bad hail storm and made it look great again! Alfonso also helped me with fixing my front bumper that was badly torpedoed by road chips and also re-did my rear bumper to blend evenly with the rest of the car. The rear bumper was repaired a few years ago by Speedy Collision and honored their lifetime warranty.
