Mariah is the best! I had been dealing with being charged for service I didn't have for three weeks speaking with various representatives online and despite requesting a manager several times - I never spoke with one. As my last chance, I went into the store and Mariah immediately helped me break down this issue and go department to get it resolved. I now have the full refund and the services on the account are correct right down to contact information. I wish I could switch from Spectrum due to their constant outages but since I can't as they are the only internet provider it at least helps to know that moving forward I can go to the store and request Mariah and know my concerns will be taken care of - it is only because of her AMAZING service and willingness to go above and beyond to engage management when she couldn't find the answers independently that I'm considering moving my mobile service over to Spectrum. read more

I visited the Stafford St location on 08-11-22. The gentleman that assisted me was very helpful. I had bad luck on the phone with two different Spectrum representatives so I wanted to go see someone in person. I had a good experience here and wanted to share. I also happened to go at a good time, as there was no line. I was in and out in under 5 mins. I do agree with other reviews. Spectrum has a monopoly in Worcester so we have to use them. The customer service is usually terrible and the services are super over priced. I had a good experience at this specific location so that is what this review is for. I would not give Spectrum 5 stars, but I give this location 5 stars for their assistance. read more

August 31, 2024 I went to the Charter Spectrum store located on Park Ave to simply pick up my equipment which was already pre-ordered and set aside. First off, walking into the store there was a kiosk with a tablet to sign-in to be added into queue. Let me just put this as a warning for everyone else to skip past the QR code option to be added into the line. When the QR code was scanned it prompted me to input my information and it stated I was added into the line. However, after about one minute it kept stating that I had left the line when nothing was even changed or touched on the screen. After re-entering the line it did the same thing and continued to do it throughout the entire time waiting. Not to mention on top of it how unprofessional the staff are is absolutely absurd. There were two staff talking to a man about his horoscope, haircuts, and movies for an hour while there were multiple people waiting for help. If I could give this store a negative score I would in a heartbeat. I mean seriously, I could have done their job more professionally and efficiently than these people do. Waiting over an hour just to pick up some equipment is ridiculous especially when there were four people working. read more

I cut dish and got Spectrum Stream and what a mistake. The DVR never works. The assistance is never helpful the suggestion is always, just says try restarting. How do you restart a virtual DVR? You cannot easily switch channels. If you are watching live sports and want to go back to the DVR the commercial will be over before you get there. You cannot easily skip forward a little with the DVR. The interface in the app is needlessly convoluted. If you are watching live and want to go back 30 seconds you can't do that either. You get what you pay for. read more

I wish that Spectrum would offer out of country roaming or some type of cell service from the Worcester area. Spectrum does have great prices and I am thankful that they offered me a fantastic deal on cell service as I had purchased WIFI service within 30 days prior. Thank you Spectrum! read more

I an very happy with the customer service from Malaysia S at the Stafford St. Spectrum location, she gave me an excellent deal and treated me with respect , as a senior citizen she did not talk down to me about the programs that were offered. I am a Vietnam Veteran on a fixed budget. I called spectrum charter to inquire about their $19.99 streaming offer, during that call I was offered a cheaper cell phone plan other than the one I had which included a new phone from me and a new SIM card for my wife with the option of keeping our original numbers which we wanted to keep. After paying the first initial installment of $221 for both services, I tried to install the spectrum streaming app on my TV's, when it did not work, I called for assistance where I found out that the streaming app did not work on LG's. I'd like to mention that this is a fact that should have been brought up during the first initial purchase. I was also led to believe that with the purchase of the new phone deal that spectrum would buy out my old phone service. Because the streaming service did not work on my televisions, I wanted to opt out altogether, however because of the misinformation about the streaming service and finding out that I would get different phone numbers with the new phones I was presented with a better phone offer that would include a new phone, the option of keeping my old number, and buy out my old phone service. During this time, I had already received the first phone and SIM card which I was attempting to return because I no longer wanted services. I went to a spectrum charter location to return these items but was told that I could not return them there but instead I had to mail them. I had a mailing label emailed to me and I returned the first phone and SIM card. After receiving the second phone I was informed that my old service would not be bought out which would leave me paying two different phone services (which makes no sense to anyone !!!!) and I could not keep my old phone number. When trying to return the second phone at two other spectrum locations (totaling 3 locations altogether) I was again told that I had to mail in the phone but this time I was told I had 14 days to return the phone before I was charged full price, so I called for a mailing label. I continuously watched my email and called spectrum waiting for a mailing label which I never received and when I finally spoke to someone, I was told that I was over the 14 days, so I was getting charged for the phone and furthermore spectrum was not responsible for sending out mailing labels to customers even though they sent me a mailing label for the first phone. But they did give me back $18 for the taxes on the phone. Prior to visiting the spectrum locations, these are the Spectrum customer service agents I spoke to: Ken, Terin, Laban. After visiting the three spectrum locations I spoke to these Spectrum Charter customer service agents: Frank, Sheila, Brian, Tyler, and Chivela. At the end of my constant inquiries, I got no mailing labels, I was told I was going to have to pay full price for an unwanted phone, I did not get a refund for the original service that I paid for and no longer wanted.
