first you should make an appointment, I made an appointment online for the next day at 3:30 pm you go in check it with the confirmation # they sent you, at 3:29 pm the service guy called me. I told him the guy on CHAT for spectrum on the website told me $106 is the best price but you can go in the store and get a new router that is 1 gb at the same price. When I talk to the service rep in the store he said I can do better- get you a faster router and give you the promotion for $ 41.25 but just sign up for $20 +$10 phone but come back in 30 and discontinue the TV and phone then just pay $41.25 instead of $106 i was out the door less than 15 minutes after he called me. the new router arriver 2 days later and was very easy to set up. The place is clean and organized. But that's expected. The wait time is kind of ridiculous when I got here. There were seven people waiting now there's nine people waiting but when I got here, there were four or 5 people helping customers now there's only three. And the problem sometimes people take a long time so it backs things up more and more. The staff seems to be working hard, but there's just a lot of stuff and this stuff is kind of slow usually. Usually when I come here, it's not that bad this time a little worse than usual. But they are busy. And there's one guy that's I guess a lot of trouble and so he's taking someone all the time. Someone else just came back. I guess he went to lunch. They all eat lunch I guess and come back. Now there are four people helping customers. I'm sorry, but there's no excuse on why this store should be like this. From all the review, I can see that chatter doesn't not care. 1. Why have 7 registers if only 2 are going to be "in use" 2. Clients waiting well over an hour, with 5-6 reps in the store and only 2 working, is crazy work, it doesn't even make sense 3. Acknowledging to clients they exist and that you are sorry for the wait should be basic common sense and decency of people's time and the inconvenience. 4. I understand clients (especially older ones have questions. Create a space for them, because if you're taking 25 min just to hand someone a modem and it's nonstop chatter chatter that is freaking inconsiderate.... I tend not to buy into the whole concept of "karma" but when I run into experiences like this, I can't help but wonder what in life I'm paying for. One of the worse customer service experiences I've had in a long time. I've visited this store a handful of times (about 5 times in the last month due to me moving and then needing a new phone). Staff appear disengaged and uninterested in helping customers beyond the most basic tasks; there is maybe 1 guy (short latino guy with glasses and beard that seems competent and helpful) - aside from him the rest are absolutely terrible. Even when the store is nearly empty, you are required to sign in and wait. I've literally waited for 7-10 minutes watching 3-4 reps standing around talking and joking amongst themselves. They then all look at eachother with eyes rolling when they realize I haven't dissapeared and one of them will need to actually assist me. I asked once if I could make an appointment for a later time and the response was "do it yourself." There is little initiative to explain products, troubleshoot issues, or provide real customer service. If you bring your own unlocked phone, the service is even worse. You will hear every excuse in the book before they perform a simple activation. I've personally observed customer after customer come in with a complaint about one thing or another not about spectrum directly but about this store specifically dropping the ball regarding their account, crediting their equipment return, etc. Customer service support over the phone is a world of difference. If you can get what you need done over the phone do that. This entire store needs an overhaul and some serious retraining. read more

At 1st Julio didn't want to give me the upgraded router 7. I let him know I called spectrum customer service on the phone and they alerted my account to upgrade it. Previously I upgraded my internet service too. He responded with a smart ass remark saying if anything it's going to be the same router 6 because they only give router 7s when there's wireless services on the account. I responded saying we do have wireless services what the do you mean. Then he finally started doing his job researching. In the end he ended up giving me the router 7 without saying another word. To top off he was getting in another coworkers business with another customer trying to upsell that customer multiple times when the customer respectfully declined Julio's advice each time. Came into the store and selected an upgrade iPhone right away. Sales Guy Jimmy tells us we have to disable the stolen phone feature which would take an hour and tells us to come back. We come back when he tells us to and he doesn't so much as acknowledge us. We get he's with another customer, but not so much as an acknowledgment after standing there almost an hour waiting for him. I just came by earlier today to replace my broken wifi router and it was a good experience. Upon entering, they have a sign-in tablet if you didn't make an appointment. I didn't realize until later that they have a screen that shows your place in line which is very convenient. I think I had to wait about 20-25 minutes but I was helped by Jennifer and she was very helpful and professional. I got a faster wifi router replaced free of charge and she also informed me of a special mobile offer that I could use whenever I wanted (no pushy sales, just a simple informational note). If you are very busy, I highly recommend making an appointment before dropping by but the wait wasn't as bad as a lot of the reviews here make it seem. Nobody ever called about the license that they had it. Went back to return box and get my license second trip waited 45 minutes and they gave me another defective refurbished box. I use to have Spectrum internet n it was $85 for my last bill, no special download speed. They send me 1-3 solicitations a week n say now they will offer me their service $20 a month. We'll, when I called 5 times trying to get my bill lowed years ago, no one cared, so the second a new internet service was available, t mobile internet, I was gone. Well, today they sent someone to my apt door n bypassed the no soliciting sign at the front of my complex. They send people to solicit yet does not keep and log of or notes of who the person is that they send to your house. That's scary and dangerous. And worst of all they get away with doing this.
