    My experience at this Spectrum location was extremely disappointing and frustrating. After our internet cable modem stopped working, my mother visited this store for assistance. Shockingly, the representative advised her to cancel our current account entirely and open a new one just to qualify for a promotional rate. This immediately raised red flags -- it felt deceptive and predatory, especially toward elderly customers like my mom. We chose not to cancel and instead contacted Spectrum's customer service directly. The tech support team confirmed I could swap out the malfunctioning modem at this store the same day. However, once I arrived with the equipment, I was told by Janet Garcia that she couldn't process the exchange due to another "device" showing on the account. She offered no real help and simply directed me to call customer service again -- something I had already completed. Regardless, I again reached out to the customer service line. While still on the phone with a representative, and after some back and forth, Janet did complete the equipment swap. But when I asked for the serial number of the old modem to help the rep on the line troubleshoot the account issue, Janet refused to provide it, claiming it had already been taken to the back. Only after I insisted did she retrieve the serial number and scribble it onto a piece of paper. To make matters worse, after further investigation, the phone representative confirmed there was never another box on my account. The information Janet gave was completely incorrect and caused unnecessary confusion and delay. What's most concerning is the sense that this location prioritizes upselling and misleading customers -- particularly elderly and non-English-speaking members of the community -- over actually helping resolve basic issues. Whether it was incompetence, indifference, or an attempt to take advantage of my mother by pushing a new account, the end result was a simple modem exchange turning into a frustrating ordeal. Before I left, I asked for Janet's business card. I was told they didn't have any. I then asked her to write her full name on the paper she had just handed me, and she intentionally misspelled her last name as "Harcia" with an "H" instead of Garcia - her real last name. (Picture attached) That was the final red flag. If you or a loved one experience something similar here, I strongly encourage you to file a formal complaint with Spectrum and consider reporting the incident to the Federal Trade Commission. Customers deserve honesty and basic respect -- especially at a service location meant to help them.

    1 minute read: Spectrum is on the ball. We've bee customers for YEARS now and have always experienced good, courteous service, whether in person or on the phone. It's a needed commodity.

As noted in other reviews, the way in which the customer service works is by transferring you to a representative that at best can only ask you to unplug your router and plug it back in again. If you have a more serious problem, then the best they can do is refer you to their mysterious "tier 2" team. They will tell you that your issue has been escalated and to expect a call back the same day or the following day. Currently, I have been waiting back to hear from this team for a month. I have called over and over again and I am unable to reach a single individual who can help me with my problem. This is a nightmare for someone who works at home and requires stable internet to do their job well. Reading other reviews and looking online demonstrates that this is a common enough problem that signing up for this service is a bad idea. If you are searching for an apartment and you find one that offers BAI connect, I encourage you to keep searching and to tell the apartment management that you will not be submitting an application because of the ISP they chose. Trust me, you do not want to be stuck in this hellish scenario of wasting hours of your time weeks on end to get no where. What you are paying for is just not worth it. I have been a customer of ATT and Spectrum, while both have their failings, I can at the very least say that I was able to get a hold of someone who could help me eventually. If your service works as intended, then great, but do not get fooled by reviews written in the best of circumstances. If one thing goes wrong you are going to suffer for it because they are either too lazy, incompetent, or just plain spiteful to help you get your issue resolved. Finally, if this review speaks to your own experience, please leave your own review on yelp and file a complaint with the FTC. They are defrauding their customers on the most basic level by denying them access to adequate customer support. Further, make your voice heard and force apartment buildings to seek better service providers. Avoid BAI connect at all costs.

I originally called Spectrum because I was planning to cancel my internet due to the price. I had been paying about $90 per month for 600 Mbps, which felt too high. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and worked with me to find a solution. They ended up offering me 1 Gig internet for $30 per month, which honestly shocked me. On top of that, they also sent me a brand new WiFi 7 router to my home free of charge. When the new router arrived, I called customer service again to get everything activated. The people on the phone were knowledgeable, patient, and very easy to work with. They walked me through everything and had my internet up and running quickly. After that, I went to the Spectrum retail store down the street from me to return my old router. I was honestly expecting the typical telecom store experience where sales reps are pushy about adding services or making it difficult to return equipment. I have had that happen at other companies before. Instead, the experience was the complete opposite. The store was very clean, organized, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional. A gentleman who I believe was named Reese helped me. He was kind, efficient, and not pushy at all. He processed my return quickly and made the whole visit very easy. Overall, the entire experience from customer service on the phone to the retail store visit was excellent. I went into this expecting frustration and instead walked away very impressed.     The repair last night was incredible and efficient I had a…read morebroken cable bad and on Monday I called to trouble shoot The cable service only function with the remote control So the phone clerk / technician, went ahead and scheduled an appointment for Nina Home technician to come in and also shipped a new cable box for me So last night, Sargis came in promptly at the appointment time changed the cable box installed the applications trouble shot and give me a new remote control I have to say I pay a lot of money to Spectrum for a monthly bundle of cable and Internet and Wi-Fi ($218+), but when it comes to their customer service and repair.... I have to give them 5 ‼
