    Good service, not a bad price for internet, TV and phone. Only problem I can see is international usage is quite a bit higher than Verizon

    Not for this store..schofield store..same owner Received new…read morephones in November, suppose to get 150$ promo gift cards (2) for my husband and I. Never got them but Chris ( store manager) finally after 5 months of hounding took instore credit. Got items but wanted something that was not in store so Chris said he would order it. Guess what...never did!! June came and went..Went to rib mountain store and got the item ( in July) and had to pay difference and a charge on my account that Chris was going to take off!! Guess what .... never did!! Went in weekly and qouted from Chris " I'll handle it, I'll take care of it"!! Now it's September 2023 and had to call Sarah the owner of the store to take care of it!! Guess what.. done in 2 minutes!! Mind you I called customer service over a dozen times about this issue and they were wonderful but couldn't help me do to the issue had to be handled in store!! I have good standing, great credit and getting texts almost daily they our service was gonna be suspended stressed me out!!! Chris is a good bull shi**er....poor management and sucks at customer service!! Myself being in customer service have NEVER EVER let my clients go less then a 8 hour shift from not hearing back from me!! I was excited when I heard us cellular was coming to the wausau area since I used then when I lived in Lacrosse. We will never go to that store again!!     I am disgusted with U.S. Cellular in Steven Point and Plover WI…read more Even though they are courteous I went to purchase a new IponeX for my elderly parents so the would be able to share photos and video of their grandchildren. I was told specifically they would also keep their flip phone active on the same line at no extra cost and it would operate the same number. More like a backup. This morning my mother went to use her flip phone because she has not adjusted to the iPhone yet and the flip phone had been disconnected and required a roaming PIN. This is directly in contrast of what I was told would happen. The create a safety and health issue for my elderly parents who live outside the Stevens Point if they need EMS. When I approached the sale consultant the following day they told me they need another $60 extra line to get the flip phone reactivated and would get a separate phone line or they would have to make WiFi calls. Again this is in complete contrast of what I was told would happen. These are poor business practices that show U.S. Cellular lacks integrity. I am going to recommend my entire extended family move to VerzIson instead of U.S. Cellular in Wisconsin.

I could easily get to my account on my phone, but the laptop was cumbersome and annoying. Luke was the young man who was amazing in his knowledge of how to do this. He took the time to answer my many questions and was patient with me when I needed further clarification. Luke is an employee of Verizon who should be recognized as one of the best.

    Honestly, they don't deserve any stars. Let me tell you why. I've visited this location three times…read morebefore writing this review. All three times, the employees lacked knowledge on their products and plans. I give up. I'm a 15+ years customer of Verizon Wireless. I've never experienced such horrible service except at the other Verizon Wireless in Plover. The most recent visit was the last straw. My husband and I were due for an upgrade. They had advertisements for a trade-in deal on iPhones. I know Apple was pushing this upgrade to their new 12's. All I wanted to do was upgrade my phone by trading my old one and use the Verizon Up credit. Plus, I was willing to pay the majority of the new phone at retail price so I won't have a high monthly payment. The employee suggested that I change my plan, which I've been grandfathered in an awesome plan that I've had for years, plus he suggested to go down to the iPhone 11. Don't they just want my money? I'm asking for new phone AND I'm willing to pay most of it at retail price. I wanted to use the credit I've been saving. He says their policy is to trade-in my phone and not put it towards the new one but use it toward discounts on accessories. I've spoken to Verizon customer service and Best Buy. They advised I should be able to trade-in my old phone and put it towards the new one. I was not understanding this. The employee wasn't making sense. Then a few more moments, he offered less than $150 for my phone as a trade-in and said he kept assuring me that the new phone won't be in until next week. I agreed. After starting the process, he says the phone won't be in for another month. At this point, I was just done. I went to Best Buy. They were able to give me more for my trade-in and the new phone will be in next week. I have an appointment set up and paid at retail price for the new phone. The only positive thing I experienced at this location was that the employees wore masks, they posted that other customers must wear masks, and they put tape up to keep everyone at a distance from each other. That was it. Maybe they deserve that one star. Just maybe.
