    This is the worse office I have ever visited. they have monopolized cable here at the lake.... so you don't have any choices...

Mentioned I'm wheelchair bound now. Before I could speak he offered to meet me at my vehicle and he'd take it in. BTW..these amps have a bit of unbalanced weight on them. I feel I have an amigo in case I got a rare Yamaha bad apple. If it happens again I will demand a new one from Yamaha. Nice to have his shop doing the work. Jim doesn't want a return, Yamaha doesn't want a return, nor do I. BTW Yamaha doesn't hand out warranty service contracts on a whim. Somebody there has some serious talento. Feel it's a shame more folks with good experiences don't post. Do you know how great it is having a service like this in Springfield? BTW.....sent a Teac Cassette Deck in for a factory re-do oil/belts in California. 80 bucks to ship one way. 289.00 for service..... Unit failed within 3 weeks....Garage door guys two hours charge 30 minutes there and millage....sounds like Jim's cheap. One last thing, been in good to great audio for 50 years. You pay for what you get, and it aint cheap to have great sound. Unless an audiophile relative passes on.

    If I could leave zero stars, I would. This has been the most frustrating and unprofessional…read moreexperience I have ever had with a service provider. I moved in 2023 and spent months trying to get my existing security system properly reinstalled at my new home. The original owner, Curtis, never followed through. When Fortress Security took over, I was hopeful things would finally be resolved. I was told to contact the new owner, Tony, directly. I did just that. I reached out by phone in January 2024, showed him the photos of what needed to be installed, and received no follow-up. I followed up again in March to express my frustration after months of silence, and again received no response. Meanwhile, I was being billed full price for service, despite the fact that only part of my system was functioning. One of my two monitoring services never worked at all. I provided full documentation and screenshots when I finally requested cancellation. I also asked for the final month to be waived, given the long history of ignored messages, failed service, and broken communication. Instead of taking any accountability, I was told I still owed for July because of a 30-day cancellation policy. Then it got worse. I was told the following by someone representing this company: "We honestly don't want customers like you. We have had amazing customers all these years. So you canceling is a blessing." That is the level of professionalism I received. I remained polite and patient through this entire experience, even when I was being ignored. That response confirmed I had made the right decision by leaving. For comparison, I spoke with a SimpliSafe representative who came to my door tonight at 6 p.m. Their technicians arrived around 7 p.m., and by 9 p.m., my entire system was installed and monitoring was fully active. It was done the same day, without excuses, attitude, or delays. I do not take leaving a negative review lightly, but this company earned every word of it. From the lack of communication, to the failure to deliver service, to the rude and dismissive final message, this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I hope this review helps others avoid the same situation.

He contacted me to let me know how close he was and was on time. He worked in the bitter cold to run and install all new service to the house. He checked and logged me on to both my TV's and computer making sure I knew how to in case of problems, of which I have had none. Evan was extremely informative and professional, which I appreciated very much. I believe this cable company is providing great service for an affordable price, which on a limited budget is very important to me. Thanks again to Evan S. for great service.

Never had so many problems with an internet service before…read more Not only did they not mention that the company name changed and is now SparkLight, but they also failed for inform us that their rates changed and for MONTHS we payed almost double for a service that apparently doesn't exist anymore. With this company, prepare to experience TONS of outages. Now I am currently dealing with updating my router/modem (we have to call and add it to our account) and when we finally reached tech support (took almost an hour because there was a high volume of phone calls because of course there was an outage), they stated they could not help us because they do not have access to the "cable America" accounts yet since the name change and that we would have to reach out to someone in tech support that represents cable America. So now we're actively trying to get ahold of someone from cable America who can help us but of course we are stuck listening to elevator music for what seems to be an eternity.
