Amazing customer service at this location. Corporate cusomer service 0/0. LOCATION: Paula and later on Jamie (i believe) were absolutely wonderful! Yesterday I was there to upgrade 3 cell phones and start one new cell plan. Whoever thought the mirror thing to confirm if there was damage to the old phones is a complete idiot. 45 minutes for 3 phones because it kept getting errors! What is wrong with trusting your employees eyes to confirm there is no damage to the trade ins? Why waste your customers and employees time? Paula was apologizing for something that wasn't her fault. Then, the 4th phone was flagged as fraud because there were already 3 transactions done. Are you kidding me! So Paula offered to hold the phone so i could go home and call 611 to try to get the fraud removed which they guessed would take about a day or 2. Again, both apologizing for corporate policies! CORPORATE: Now, here is where I get pissed. Short version. Call 611, Get transferred to fraud. Fraud tells me it's not really a fraud just a flag that I would need to order the 4th phone online and have it shipped (FROM THE STORE THAT I WAS LITERALLY AT 30 MINUTES BEFORE!) or sales and order over the phone! WTF!? I asked if someone could just remove the flag and i could go to the store and just buy the phone instead. No. Is there a other department that could help? No. Wow, thanks for nothing. I said if I go to the store Monday to get the phone will it still be flagged? Hmm, I don't know, maybe, maybe not. Awesome. So helpful. After fuming, I order the phone online. Now, knowing Paula is holding the last remaining model for us I try to find a number to the store. No luck (that is annoying btw). Call 611 again (because they were so helpful the other time...) ask if I could be connected directly to the store I was dealing with to let them know I made the purchase online and about the phone being held, in case Paula wasn't there Sunday or Monday. Nope, and was told they would figure it out. Really. So, back in the car to drive back to the store. Thankfully Jamie was still there and I explained that I ordered it and he said he would take care of the hold and let Paula know. He again apologized. The in-store employees that I dealt with were incredible. The corporate employees are useless and the policy with the mirror and having no way to directly contact the reps in the store is a waste of time for the customers. Switching carriers is very intimidating. Not knowing if you'll be hit with big taxes or surprise hidden fees. When the say $29.99 a line, that's exactly what it is. This place is a joke they have no respect for customers unless you are new and they are making a sale after that spectrum is one of the worst companies for cell phone and internet services. They have you wait hours to see someone then they don't even know what there doing they call the 1800 number and get another rep that's just as ignorant to technology in general. I think they specifically hire people with a kindergarten IQ to Save money also after giving the rep my credit card and he walked off with it purchases were made that I did not make so bad customer service ignorant staff and thief's not as a business but literally they let people work there that steal your card information I guess I should have thought something when they wrote down the address and zip my credit card was linked to on a peice of paper and put it in the desk. Also they won't give you a receipt and don't tell you that till after they take your card and charge you for things that are not mentioned. My mom who had been a customer of Spectrum and all of it's previous companies in Niagara Falls NY for about 52 years. She passed on August 14th , 2 weeks shy of her 93rd birthday. So when I went into the Niagara Falls Spectrum Store located at 1550 Military Road Niagara Falls NY 14304 on August 15th at about 10:30 AM to return my mom's cable equipment and explain that she had passed, I thought I would hear something from an actual human being who had manors. Something like, "we at Spectrum are sorry for your loss and we appreciated your moms patronage with us". Instead Daniela short dark complexion with glasses , moved her hands Back and forth in a "what do you want from me gesture and look" and then after I didn't say anything to the Hand movements and weird look Daniela said "what do you want from me". I said to close the account and that she had passed and she said that she can't with out a death certificate. But What upsets me is the hand gesture, the weird look and the what do you want from me in response to hearing that a customer of 52 years has passed. read more

Called the Spectrum 800# bc we had been charged for channels we got but did not authorize or ask for. We were told we must "migrate" our account and personally turn in our old cable boxes and router and modem, and that we would be given new updated equipment. They opened a new account for us and gave us the acct. # to take to the local store. We traveled to the closest store in Niagara Falls, NY. I explained all of this to the girl with long black hair who then took our old equipment, closed the account, then looked at us like why were we still standing there? She finally asked what did we want now? I said the new equipment, and then she said they didn't have any! She had not told us that at first, so we asked for our old equipment back then, because we would have no phone or Internet and we needed that for our Life Alert system to work. She coldly stated that said she could not reactivate our old account and that we would also need to change our phone number in the future. I asked for the address of the next nearby store and she coldly said she did not have it. Her cellphone was sitting on her desk but she did not offer to even Google it for us. She had no empathy nor emotions and made no attempt to help us further. She appeared to almost relish the dire situation we were now in. We left very unsatisfied. We then found our own way to the Niagara Falls Blvd. store where, after explaining everything, we were helped by two very courteous gentlemen, Von and Mark, eventually leaving there with the new equipment and great satisfaction. If I could give no stars, I would. Spectrum is aware of the COVID-19 scare and is not willing to help. NHL, NBA, and other sports have canceled/suspended their seasons. Literally no sports. Spectrum will not allow us to cancel our subscriptions. We pay for NBA and NHL packages and we are not able to watch these sports. Spectrum says they won't credit or refund anyone with these subscriptions. Horrible customer service. We will be canceling our Spectrum service. read more
