ITS SUMMER not winter so why on earth are you showing Christmas based movies (15 last count) in JULY We pay good money for these showings and expect a good selection of movies to watch, not the same old stuff for months on end. and try and show movies that are appropriate for the time of year, so come on Spectrum you get your money from the consumer how about giving something back like watchable movies. Okay a couple of weeks ago we went to Spectrum in Williamsville, the person that helped us was great but when he ask for help with a question he didn't know I guess the store manager Steve/Steven whatever act like he was irritated that the person helping us was bothering him, it made us feel very uncomfortable, but the way the employee acted like it was normal without saying a word. My advice it's very concerning when you go in there for help with a problem and you get attitude from someone that is in charge of a store, this needs to be addressed. I went to the store, this one was on Military Road in Niagara Falls New York. It was clear they were very inadequately trained, terrible product knowledge and didn't even have SIM cards, not even one in the entire store. so the next day I was forced to call their customer service and try to handle my problems on the telephone. Something that would've normally taken 25 minutes, took two hours on the phone, and still no resolution. then they have the audacity to try to upsell you, or upgrade you to other services, and when you actually say yes to one of them, only to be told by the technician...."we're unable to do that with your existing equipment". which they knew very well what I had on the phone, as they can see anything that's registering on their end. I could go on and on, but the training is obviously horrible, I spoke to four people, three of them needed to get a supervisor, and even the supervisors barely had answers. we really need more competition in the 716, nothing is gonna change until another company or to give us options. read more

I hate Spectrum. They have made our life hell for years with their overcharges and inflated costs in a monopoly driven system whereby the govt allows them to screw us repeatedly. But when they demanded receiver boxes, at $6.99 per month, for YEARS, when said boxes would be paid for in less than 6 months, that was the kicker. My wheelchair bound elderly mother, fighting cancer, watches TV all day; it's her main activity in life at this point. Still, she can only afford starter TV and basic internet, and she's still at $100.00 a month. So, when they advertised that the receiver would be free for 5 years to medicaid recipients, I was relieved. However, guess what, NOT. As usual, just a lie for promotional purposes cuz sure enough, there's the charge on the bill. Many hours of phone calls later, they want my elderly mother to haul her ass down to the local Spectrum office during COVID to "re-verify" her Medicaid number, after they received a photocopy of her card when I picked up her receiver. F*ck. Spectrum is an organization that needs to be eradicated completely. They are cold blooded money grabbing opportunists. read more

Thanks for keeping our internet going during this time where many of us are working from home. I've seen the spectrum trucks on my street twice since quarantine began. There were a few moments where we lost connection but it was short lived. Yesterday while going to let my son's dogs out I seen 2 Spectrum trucks on different streets in the same neighborhood. I know at times they get a bad rap but I can truly say that now and prior to the crisis they have always responded quickly, the employees were helpful and polite, and that my internet needs were always met. My wife works in an essential field and while allowed to work from home, would have to report to her office if she were unable to work at home. Their employees being out there and keeping service going is keeping her safe. Our working from home over Spectrum internet has been quite smooth since starting five weeks ago. read more

Things did not change for the better when Spectrum took over for Time Warner. In the past, when you got a bill with an outlandish percentage increase, you could go to the office and ask for some help in reducing the monthly charges, or at least minimizing the increase. This usually worked. No more! I was informed that Time Warner used to do this, but Spectrum does not. We are supposed to accept an increase of over 15% from last year. read more

After several phone calls, Time Warner Cable Customer Service verified that the modem equipment they charged me for after disconnection was being rented to the new owner of the condominium. They said the serial number matched. However, they did not credit my account as they promised to do. They still turned it over to a collection agency and notified a credit reporting agency. When I called today to let them know I filed a complaint with the New York State Attorney General's office, Customer Service told me I had speak to Collections and Collections told me I had to speak to Customer Service. read more

I believe that Time Warner has to have the worst customer service in the country! Our local channels went out tonight, and I cannot call them. I get a rapid busy signal. I can't chat with them online, there is a 43 minute wait. Their website is hideous at the best of times, and right now, it's way slower than dial up. And they charge an arm and a leg for service. The worst and unreliable cable company EVER..I've had them for over 20yrs when it was Adelphia, Time Warner, Charter and then Spectrum. They grand fathered me on my rate when they went frm Time Warner to Spectrum. They NEVER PAID ME A REBATE OR FREE PRIME TV LIKE THEY SAID...bcuz of the scam with the Internet that we were entitled. First they said there was NOTHING we had to do to receive or rebates and stuff it would come automatically they said this bck in 2018 when everything came out. Then in May 2019 I looked on line it said u had to call this rebate number by May 30or31. And they never answered or when they did they hung up...smmfh.. Bottom line they ripped me tf off. It's crazy I pay almost 200$ a month. They scammed us with the internet then on our rebate..They ought to be ashamed I'm sick with Cancer to take advantage of anyone. I'm in the midst of getting a fire stick or roku and cut my cable off,house phone,internet and alarm system off. And get my internet,phone and alarm from private companies....
