I have called their support line and been assured by whatever agent I spoke to that the issue was corrected before I started getting daily calls from a collection agency where I have been charged for wifi service I had no way of even using as I had no AT&T wifi modem to use this service with as the replacement never arrived to me, just like the faulty wifi modem somehow got lost on its way back to AT&T. My mom has had T-Mobile as her service provider for several years now (around 5 years and before that she didn't have a cellphone) but she has been wanting to get a smartphone recently but did not want to sign another contract and pay a lot of money for certain options. I told her that she should go with their prepaid plan so she doesn't pay a fortune for certain things like texting and exceeding on her monthly minutes. When she finally decided on it, I had purchased a prepaid phone for her to use. I wanted to get everything set up for her before she flies back home so we went over to this T-Mobile store this afternoon to try to take care of things. The associate who helped us, Corey, was very nice. I explained to him what I needed done and he took care of it all: the porting of the number, transferring all the contacts, etc. He even made sure that the phone was working properly before we left! I was really impressed especially because I had ported my number some time last year as well and it took 2-3 weeks, got billed twice, had to spend hours of angry phone calls with the store (Edwarsville store) I went to and with their costumer service reps before everything was resolved. That was a painless experience and I am so happy with the experience overall. The associates were very friendly, one even offered us chairs to sit on and some water but we were fine and refused politely. The only excruciatingly painful part now is making sure my mom remembers everything I taught her about using her new smartphone.

The account was paid in full and up to date. The first call frustrated my husband so badly he just gave up and hung up. We called back again this time prepaired to stay on as long as needed to get the service canceled. THE CALL LASTED ALMOST 3 HOURS AND THEY STILL WOULDNT CANCEL!!!! We received annother bill so we wrote on it that we called to cancel and didn't owe anything. After 2 months we got another bill deducting one month. Then we received an email with return labels for the equipment. Now they have turned the account over to a collection agency for the month after we called to cancel. We are disputing!

While other stores have laptops and other devices, Micro Center has John S. and other great team members to help you. John was very supportive, never pushy, quick to answer questions and very willing to not search for what we were looking for and provide us options. THAT is INCREDIBLY BENEFICIAL - some times you just need someone to help you get to what you are looking for, to weed through the many options and find just what you need. John S. provides that service for us. Separately from us appreciating the service, at least for our daughter's laptop, Micro Center's prices beat the competition. In addition, their warranty program will replace a broken device; had we had it, the broken hinge would have been covered. Garret was behind the service counter, helped and went over so many things! All of our interactions with the service techs, the guy who showed us laptop options, the checkout cashier, everyone. We were there for a while and by the time everything was said and done it was 15 minutes past closing. We felt so bad, didn't expect to be there that long, but they were so great. The store has so much stuff! Something for everyone if it has to do with electronics. And even though it's the parking lot from heck, it is in the far back corner away from most of the chaos.

I pay for 1 gig up and 1 gig down. All have done some different swapping out of connectors, swapped router and modem, switched line from outside to home. All say they fixed it and are getting better than 1 gig speeds. I run the exact same speed test on multiple devices while they are still at my home and show them they have not fixed anything and the highest download speed I have ever received is 350mb while there equipment shows 1.1gb. The last technician actually made my connection speed worse I went from 250mb download to 98mb download and he told me there is nothing he can do because his speed test says it is fixed. This is my 3rd home and business in both Illinois and Missouri and I have had the same problem at all 3, it doesn't matter if you have residential service or business service, you will never get the speeds you pay for. If you have any other fiber options do yourself a favor and STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!

My phone was on its last leg and the WiFi was not working. Everything had to be transferred manually and once the new phone was on, an update had to be performed. The process took awhile but everyone there walked me through it, waited patiently and explained how it worked. He made the process more than smooth and user friendly. I learned that this store was one of the only ones in the area that doesn't work in commission, I always like to ask for future use anytime I receive good service, and learned from employees that it is not. They should be! They made this the easiest and most enjoyable cell phone store visit I've ever had!!! Thanks y'all!
