We were told about these, but told they had to be added, but never mentioned any charges for them. When I went back to the store, I kept getting the run around about why the lines were added, and kept being told "they are saving us money". Went to another store and was told this store is only a authorized dealer for AT&T, and they use different sales practices. Finally called AT&T Customer Service and was given credit back, and got the promo lines cancelled.

Sales guy told me it was mandatory and that I could cancel 17 month insurance after 14 days on my own. Called at after leaving site and they said that want true. Insurance is not required for phones. The att next plan is not required to get promotional pricing. I confronted the manager, and he said that he was an authorized retailer and could set his own store policies. I believe that is accurate. So find an official Att store to do business with and especially avoid this store. Manager was unapologetic, sarcastic, and was rude. Called and filled a complaint with ATT cooperate and also Prime communications, who is the owner of the authorized location. Do not use an authorized retailer

He wrote down passwords that he created for me to tell customer service to bypass security and then kept the paper the passwords were on. He activated my phone under an email account that I had not used in years and even though I immediately changed all the passwords before leaving the parking lot, that email associated with the account has notified me multiple times a day, every single day that someone is trying to access my eBay account, my Facebook account, my Amazon account, my Walmart account. THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED. The new phone broke less than a week after buying it.
