If I could destroy spectrum I would. They sent me a used phone when I bought a new one. It was locked with pin number. I was sent to office to another office then back to the 1st office and on and on. I received a locked phone, called to get it unlocked but spectrum personnel insisted they get a new out immediately. I did not want it and protested. But having cancer I didn't feel like arguing. They bullied me into accepting it. So I got the phone that supposed to work but it didn't WORK EITHER. BATTERIES PLUS THE NEW CONTRACTED FIXER FROM SAMSUNG WOULDN'T FIX IT either EVEN THOUGHT THE 2ND PHONE WAS NOT RIGHT. It would not accept the SIM card. So the repair man said I'd have to pay $200 to repair a BRAND NEW PHONE! I GOT VERY SICK the next day. Went to hospital. Was in a coma 3 mths. I OFFERED TO PROVE IT. Got out end of Sept. By then 14 days turn around was up. I appealed and they took back the phone. Now here's where they get you via a scam. They tell you to send it back. NOW THEY HAVE THE PHONE AND YOUR MONEY. THEY MAKE YOU PAY THE TOTAL AND WILL NOT BREAK IT UP OR THEY SHUT YOUR PHONE OFF. I did but according to them I sent back the wrong phone. The phone they forced me to pay for or they would shut off my phone that I needed so badly because of Dr's calling me for the three of us. My HUSBAND has end stage Parkinson, my daughter has a trach, lives off oxygen and is downs syndrome. Spectrum people are parrots who just spit out policy and procedure even though these issues will be resolved to their satisfaction. You pay for the phone, send it back, they don't refund it and you can't get it back if you want it and you just have them $1200 for a phone they won't give you back. Or refund you. B@stards. At first they would give me half back but then a higher authority decided I would get $100 credit based on their rules and procedures. It's all set up to go in their favor because they tell you if it has no scratches or anything wrong with it is how they decide to refund you. The returned phone was still in the box and complete yet, spectrum says it has scratches and was the wrong phone. This is total bullshit! I never wanted the Damn phone. They don't care if you've been sick and ridiculed about my hospital stay. They made fun of me having cancer. Now I just get no phone not even half my money back. These people are the ultimate scammers. I've been with them and the previous companies that owned this company 33 years. Since they've been doing cable and I could get it where it lived. They just don't care about your loyalty nor your payments being on time every month. They are so big now they think they can't be took down. Based on what I'm seeing here, they're are thousands who are disgruntled. I am looking for another cable company and another phone company once I finish paying if the phones I have had to last to be fixed. Every phone they've sent me has had to be fixed. I've had to pay for them to be factory reset a number of times now because they just are pure junk. These I could have bought on Amazon and they would have worked for a lot less. Fool that I am and having cancer brain I did not think about it. I won't make that mistake again. If people keep spectrum eventually they will scam you to. They are a dirty monopoly. I thought tmobile was bad. They could use lessons from spectrum on how to scam. I won't ever buy another phone or other electronics from another phone company. I pray that every one else abandons spectrum as fast as they can and this company goes belly up. I hope to live to see them fail miserably. They are crued and evil and the customer is no longer right. Spectrum is. Here's another thing. They discriminated against me because of the color of my skin. They enjoyed it also. One girl flat out said I was the wrong color. Now that the majority of people are black that works for spectrum., white people are treated shitty. You will never get a decent review or refund. You will be scammed and screwed. Once I have the phones paid off I will leave them. Spectrum needs a wake up call. I'm just the person to see it happen.
