I told the manager they deserved 1,000 stars, but she said five was the limit. I was to receive an email/link to rate them, but, alas it never arrived. The store supervisor/manager is a nasty nasty woman, they wasted my time, were rude to me, she yelled at me across the store with customers present. I was given instructions by the store employee, those were not correct. I was told there was nothing they could do for me so I called customer service. Customer service came up with a solution, to which the store manager told me no, they were not going to help me and then lectured me and yelled at me in the presence of other customers. I have been a Verizon customer for 5 years and have had anywhere from 5-7 lines over those years. Verizon as a company has always been great, this location is the worst and the manager should be fired for what just took place.

I was thankful we got there when it wasn't crazy busy, but it definitely started to pick up after noon. It took awhile to get everything situated. Our salesperson might have been new, as he seemed a little nervous and confused. Additionally, he seemed like he was still learning about all of the current deals and how the Verizon store switched over phones etc. However, another salesperson was extra helpful at explaining things. I believe his name was Jason, but I'm not positive. Jason was great at clarifying details and knew a lot about special deals and plans. Technology is often slow, so the time wasn't an issue, although I think our guy was also still learning and took longer than usual. This wouldn't have been frustrating, but it soon became so because he kept trying to upsell. Since he wasn't super aware of the plans, he wasn't great at explaining what these deals were. For example, he said we would get "a free iPad" with the purchase of a phone. However, you have to get service on that iPad and so on, so the iPad isn't free. When this kept on happening, it was distracting him from transferring my phone data over and extended the process. The persistent, poor attempts at upselling made the experience feel repetitive and painfully awkward. Nonetheless, I got what I needed at the end of the day and it was a good deal! Just make sure you have a lot of time on your hands before coming here... it's more time consuming than the DMV!

My Makita MAC5200 compressor was laboring and blowing the circuit breaker, so I took it to Merlin…read moreStelzer for repair on December 18, 2023. When I dropped it off, I told them what it had been doing. I hadn't heard anything by January 29, 2024, so I called to check on it. They told me that it hadn't been looked at yet (over a month down the road), but they would evaluate it and call me back later the same day. I also corrected my phone number in their records. Nothing happened. I called again on February 22, 2024, and was told that the unit was ready, but they couldn't get hold of me because my phone number was wrong. (I had corrected it on January 29.) Dude told me that the technician had reset the overload cutoff switch, and it started right up. He couldn't find any problems. I was skeptical, because (like I said above) the compressor had been laboring and blowing the circuit breaker. That's usually a symptom of more serious problems. Sure enough, I got all set up this morning to do some sandblasting, and the compressor is not fixed. It's doing the same things it was doing before I took it to Merlin Stelzer. So, it cost me $55 for them to do nothing, and I've been without my compressor for over two months. Guess where I'm not taking it to be fixed. Stay away from Merlin Stelzer.
