We visited on a nice and sunny Sunday afternoon our daughter's soccer game and some outside activity for me... so we needed a laptop and lunch. While other stores have laptops and other devices, Micro Center has John S. and other great team members to help you. John was very supportive, never pushy, quick to answer questions and very willing to not search for what we were looking for and provide us options. THAT is INCREDIBLY BENEFICIAL - some times you just need someone to help you get to what you are looking for, to weed through the many options and find just what you need. John S. provides that service for us. Separately from us appreciating the service, at least for our daughter's laptop, Micro Center's prices beat the competition. In addition, their warranty program will replace a broken device; had we had it, the broken hinge would have been covered. So you will likely be most happy and pleased Jen you shop Micro Center and get help from John S., and/or any other of their great team members. Garret was behind the service counter, helped and went over so many things! All of our interactions with the service techs, the guy who showed us laptop options, the checkout cashier, everyone. We were there for a while and by the time everything was said and done it was 15 minutes past closing. We felt so bad, didn't expect to be there that long, but they were so great. The store has so much stuff! Something for everyone if it has to do with electronics. And even though it's the parking lot from heck, it is in the far back corner away from most of the chaos.

I called Schneider who told me that to replace the panel would cost about $150. So I told him thanks, but I would buy a new one then. He asked me some questions and said let's try to reboot it and reprogram it. IT WORKED! Not only did I not need a new microwave, but the technical support was free. I highly recommend you give them a call before throwing your possibly fixable appliance.

However, the women went on about how awful the design is, how ugly it is and she can't wait to take it off. Then went on about how Xbox sucks and she's all for PlayStation. When I showed the Geek on duty my frozen screen, he said I needed a service plan for $180 or that I could pay $150 for them to diagnose. That's silly I know he could fix my problem with a few keystrokes because I had this happen before and they fixed it in seconds. I left and went to EPIC and the young man there fixed my computer in seconds at no charge. He didn't try to sell me a service plan he just took care of a senior citizen and thanked me for my service. I was wearing my AIR FORCE veteran hat. I returned to Best Buy to talk to a manager about my experience. He said they were a for-profit business and customer service wasn't their primary goal. With that, I left after telling him I wouldn't be returning and that I would be panning them with bad reviews. EPIC gets a 5-star review and BEST BUY gets panned because all they wanted was to take advantage of an old man who doesn't know computers very well. Bottom line DON'T GO TO BEST BUY!!!

I asked a store associate if I could look at the laptops in that area, and he told me to go ahead. A moment later, another associate approached me and said I was not allowed to be there. I explained that I had already asked for permission, there was no active construction work happening, and there were no apparent safety risks or dangers in the area. He still insisted I leave. What stood out most was that there was no attempt to help me find a laptop, answer questions, or offer alternatives -- just an abrupt and dismissive interaction focused on getting me out of the area. I told him I'd gladly purchase a laptop somewhere else where customers are either allowed to view inventory or are actually helped. His response was, "Yeah, go ahead and do that." He then followed me out of the store and watched me get into my car and leave. Completely unprofessional experience. The staff acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. Don't waste your time.

I was referred to Sat-Com by my Home Owner's Association management. This was my first time using…read moresatellite services. The installation was very professional; they had to run some new lines through my garage, but everything they ran was tied up and tucked away neatly. I had the Genie DVR installed, and Dan (owner) sat down with my wife for about 10 minutes explaining all of the features of the remote, DVR service, and DirecTV offerings. All-in-all, it was the best installation experience I've had from any provider. The DirecTV service itself is working great right now as well.
