What you would expect from target. Clean, well stocked. I was shopping for my wife who was going to a baby shower. Registry made it easy.

I was a prior customer of theirs and several of my family members because of my recommendation. I needed a little living room set for my front living space as I have two one of which already furnished. I also needed bunk beds for my children. I went into the store made my selections, was already financed. Was set to pick up the furniture the next day. I did so on a flatbed trailer with NOTHING on it but the sofas and a bunk beds. The sofas were pre wrapped by them somthere was no way to see the damage until unwrapped. Got the furniture home, began to unwrap the items and in the love seat there was a tear and deep hole in the bottom of the sofa and what looked to be an ink mark on the arm. I immediately stopped unwrapping called the store and advised of the damaged sofa. Gentleman answered and the main woman who sold it to me was not there. He advised to take photos and provided an email. I did and sent them immediately! After no response we called a few days later, at this time I have not opened my childrens bunk beds nor have I touched the damged furniture still has the remaining wrapping on it. Spoke with the lady owner she stated and began to speak really fast in that she woild reorder the furniture give her a week however she said they would NOT pay for delivery because they are paying for it to be delivered to the store??? What does that have to do with a paying customer whose furniture was damaged? I did nothing wrong and she stated she didnt either...I didnt say that she did, I wasnt beligerant speaking loud or anything to that effect Im pretty patient...So I told her if she was not going to deliver the new sofa who would pick hers up? And I advised if this was the way they do business then so be it I will never be a customer again. She stated she would throw in a rug for the trouble. A week and 3 days pass, no call from her we call her back she says the sofa is not there give another week. We call back a week later she stated it was in stock and she will call us back that night or the next day about possible delivery.Heard nothing back..Gave her a few more days then went up to the store...She was not there we left a message with the gentleman. She finally calls back this is almost week 3 later and says they will deliver Wednesday...I asked if she will still provide the rug for ALL the inconvinence? She stated no she is paying for delivery but in essence she would need to come to my house anyhow to pick up her damaged item right!? Finanace company did not like how it was being handled and explained if I had any issue to call them back as they had to push my first payment back because I had not received all my product. I skipped several places that would except the financing I had but I came here because I had good experience in the past. NEVER AGAIN...Once they sale you something they have no consideration of customer service or customer retention. I can hope that my furniture will be here wednesday and it is NOT the showroom floor set that she offered me. I dont want to pay for furniture that people had sat on etc. I was ok.with patiently waiting for the other furniture to come in...In three weeks we had NO communication from the store.on status we had to continue calling and FINALLY going up there because of the lack of them communicating to us, their customers. Finally after visiting the store the next day we got a call. I will update review if anything miraculous changes otherwise I would NOT recommed anylonger on the fact that customer service is big with me and showing empathy toward the situation, and COMMUNICATING WHERE MY FURNITURE WAS AT. ..None of which were shown. I thought they were good people obviously not. ..Money is first and foremost with this place. ***Update*** Sofa was delivered in a beat up minivan by her family members. They were nice and set up the sofa, however, took photos of the larger couch stating and I quote "You could not have damaged this sofa, because you got the bigger sofa in without damage. Can I take a photo of the non damaged sofa?" I guess they really thought we damaged the sofa.. Needless to say she did NOT pay professional movers, and of course I did NOT get the rug she said she would throw in. Never again!

I regularly purchase furniture for rental properties and have never had such a frustrating delivery…read moreexperience as I did with Bob's in St. Ann, MO. On the second attempt to deliver, I clearly requested an hour's notice since I don't live at the property. Instead, I received a text less than 15 minutes before their arrival at 8:30 a.m. -- no consideration or proactive communication. They knew the day before that I was the second stop and could have easily notified me sooner. There was zero mention that someone had to be physically present at the property -- not in the store, not in the confirmation email, and not in any of the text messages. I even had a door code ready and was available by phone, but that wasn't acceptable to them either. The communication failures at every stage -- in-store, via text, and during delivery coordination -- were unacceptable. This will be the last time I purchase from Bob's. If you value clear communication and reliable delivery, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

They use text messages and e-mails that have contradictory delivery time frames. And the live chat person doesn't line up with the e-mail information either. They tried to deliver on a Saturday at 7am, when the email said after 8am. Then refused to come back in action known as a "Turn Around." Then despite requesting some time frame any day of the week between 8am and 5pm. The most recent info suggests they will try to deliver after 9pm on a weeknight. Ordered the couch a month ago, still don't have it.

We first met Dave our salesman, while browsing and thought we found the right sectional within a short time of looking and sitting on multiple pieces. Dave suggested that we could have a designer come to our home and help us by creating a 3-dimensional layout of our great room to be certain that the sofa would fit properly as well as help with other decorative insights. Danielle came to our home within a few days, measured everything, knew all about this sofa, answered all of our questions and concerns, told us about their incredible protection plan and discussed prices for each sectional option. We followed up with her a few days later when she showed us multiple angles of our room with a 3-D created version of how the sofa would look with our current room furniture. There was never any pressure to buy it. We did some additional shopping online at "high end" nationally recognized furniture stores and in some local furniture stores to see if any other better options were available to us as well as cost comparing and then, were totally convinced that the sectional at Carol House was the best choice for ALL the right reasons. We also met the store manager, Chris, who answered additional questions we had. He was so nice too. A follow-up review will be written once they deliver our custom sectional in 10 weeks. Stay tuned. Well I have nothing but time to tell the world just how half/ass your customer service is. Might want to hire fifth graders- they might be able to get it right. I know they could have walked my check to my house in three months time. Hell I could have walked to get it in that period of time - as it appears you just can't get it RIGHT. Can't mail Can't direct deposit can't find important documents - why are you even open.
