Sadly, they are the ONLY internet/cable provider here in Hemet! Unknowingly, they provided a GREAT Technician named Reggie Owens! He was the Best out of at least 3 Technicians who diagnosed and fixed the issue/problem with my service! Calling customer service was a TRAIN WRECK OF DISAPPOINTMENTS! They were very NASTY & RUDE AND OF ABSOLUTELY NO HELP TO ME! I did go into the store here in Hemet, and they were helpful in making the appointment and I PRAYERFULLY got Reggie! I performed a diagnostic testing through a process of elimination! Now, my service is working WELL! read more

Went in for a return of a box as well as a getting a xumo box to replace it after contract renewal over the phone with their call center. Pro Tip: Walk in =- YOU MUST SIGN IN on the kiosk or you'll be just standing there for no reason thinking your waiting in line like I did. The room is nicely decorated if your into that but everything starts with that kiosk sign in. About 4 other customers in the room (in line on the kiosk but sitting down). A bit unclear of the process to set an online appointment or walk in and sign in; so once that concept gets ironed out hoping things will get better. The staff that helped was efficient, you will get asked to sign up for cell service, so I guess that is a big push from spectrum, wonder if they work on commission or if corp requires it. The argument was over an s-pen and he gave a picture with no serial number and no proof it was my machine that was missing the pen. He was condescending and downright rude. Today, while waiting to return my modem and cancel my service at Spectrum, I witnessed some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. A frustrated customer was seeking help with her bill, and the employee assisting her--who claimed to be the manager--handled the situation in an unprofessional and condescending manner. Although he ultimately resolved the issue, his demeanor was off-putting, and instead of de-escalating the situation, he chose to engage in a dispute over the customer's behavior. As a leader and representative of Spectrum, he failed the brand by making the customer feel small rather than valued. At the end of the exchange, the customer attempted to communicate how she preferred to be addressed, but the manager missed the opportunity to apologize or thank her for her business. Instead, he made the interaction about himself. Customer service professionals must always remember one thing: their job exists because the customer called or walked in. Why does one Associate have 6 customers and literally seen 3 employees come to the front and back to the back multiple times

Spectrum has moved to a new level of ripping customers off. Although I cancelled my internet service with them in the middle of the billing period I was told by them that I will have to pay for 2 weeks of unused service. A new type of stealing. Plus they billed you for future months which means you pay ahead of time. Spectrum Corp shame on you! read more

This company's customer service is as bad as it gets! They came out couldn't install, which I knew would be more to it. So the construction guy was supposed to get back to me he never did! Then he put false information into the system so he wouldn't have to work on it. All of my neighbors have spectrum! I called back and lady hung up on me because she didn't want to fill out the document! I called back lady helped but she said she will try but upper management has to do it and they are usually to busy to help anyone! I tried to get an answer as to why I being a NEW customer they would NOT tell me to cancel my iPad account when they did cancel or transfer my 2 phones at the same time . I'm not a phone geek just a senior that would expect to be informed as to what to do. I even asked what else do I have to do. and be sure they said it's NOT their FAULT I didn't cancel my Verizon iPad account! too bad mr customer lol my fault for thinking I was going to save some money when my time is over we will drop them like a old turd SPECTRUM SUCKS like all the others. read more

The wait was so long I cancelled my subscription. The service was horrible! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

For years paid over 140 a month for cable. Finally decided to cxl-too much. Called 800, fought for an hour to keep free internet, and they offered these other low cost packages. I said Cancel TV, but still kept free internet paid by govt. I just got bill for period Starting Nov 10 for 150. TV signal was disconnected on Oct 10, Cable box returned on next day with receipt. I called 800 and they said they bill behind, I pay for August in November. Spectrum is not like electric utility, you pay previous month. You pay for bill period ahead, e.g. July 28 for one month beginning August 11. I won't say they are dishonest, but do you have a bridge to sell. Avoid Spectrum like the plague. read more

So going to the cable company used to be awful, now it's even worse. They offer cell service so the agents take for ever setting up a new cell service. The customers that have cable or internet issues have to wait way longer now. Having two agents helping out when there are up to 20 people in line makes it even worse. Avoid this place at all cost! In my opinion they should have cell service and set up separate so that they can help the customers that already have service with cable and internet. read more

I have time to write this because our Spectrum service rep is way late, half our past the time frame they gave me for their arrival. I've also been on hold with Spectrum for 15 minutes and they say it will be another 20. More importantly, Spectrum internet is slower than what we had which was using the hotspot function on an old phone through a cel tower. That's pretty bad. I see that all Spectrum offices have 1 or 2 stars. Shame on you if you work for Spectrum and are not pushing daily to improve your shady company. read more

Hands down worst ISP we've ever had. Bill increased the minute they had a monopoly in the area. Then it increased steadily, always with the same excuse: "your promotional period ended...." But what really took the cake was when they charged us $50 for a technician to come out to fix THEIR problem.... we were getting less than 20Mbps while paying for 100Mbps.. the technician said he'd never seen such low numbers... And they had the audacity, not only to charge us to fix their problem (ripping us off for bandwidth), they refused to even consider taking the charge off our bill. So we cut the cable and went with SlingTV - much cheaper, better channels - and got Ooma VoIP for our phone service. We even transported our old number! So, we've cut our communication expenses by 75%. If we still had free competition in this country, Spectrum would have gone out of business years ago. THE WORST!!! read more

What a difference! I gave this joint a one star review a few days ago after their bouncer threaten to throw me out. Today I went in there again to do battle but the bitch supervisor was gone and in her place was Gilberis Diaz a store specialist. Like I say, what a difference! Diaz showed me his computer monitor, explained the problem they were having with adding my brother to my account, and told me that their screwed up computer system didn't even recognize me as a mobile customer tho I have been a mobile phone customer for 3 months and their cable customer for 8 years. The merging of Spectrum's mobile and cable systems is is a train wreck. But at least Diaz had the decency, honesty, and humanity to say it like it was, unlike his supervisor who hid behind a mask of cold arrogance and indifference to my on-going plight. read more

All the customer sales reps don't anything, I had to talked to 50 different people and it took damn near month to get my refund back. I kept getting hung up on because they didn't care to help. Spectrum TV customers service is poor. They are over priced, they offer no specials, no discounts, no promo offers as a continued customer. They sucker you in with the initial promo offer and then down heel from there. I went to turn my equipment in and cut off cable and cut off my service because I was fed up with their service overall and I was told by Tiffany that once the equipment is returned my bill would be prorated. We'll I turned it in 2 weeks prior to the end of my billing cycle and no proration, no credit, nothing. I call it FRAUD when a company makes you pay for a service that you no longer have. Stopped in to the new store today to inquire about there mobile service. Talked to some guy with a beard. Can you tell me about your service. Well he could barley get his head out of the computer. I wanted to know about the pay by gig plan. When he realized that I have an iPhone 6 I was not eligible for their plan unless I buy a new phone. Never once did he offer to show me the plans how it all worked or how I could benefit from an upgrade. He had absolutely no personality and no customer service skills.
