I want to share my experience so others can be careful. A door-to-door representative came to my home on February 18, 2026 and told me that if I paid off both of my existing phones, I would be reimbursed as part of a promotional program if I switched service. Based on that promise, I went to the store and paid off both phones, totaling about $500. After everything was completed, I was told that the promotion either only applied to one phone or was "not part of the program" at all. In other words, what I was told at my home did not match what the company later said they could honor. I would not have paid off those devices if the offer had been explained correctly. My advice to anyone considering switching:* Get every promotion in writing before spending any money.* Do not rely on verbal promises from door-to-door sales.* Call the company directly and confirm the offer yourself before agreeing.* Keep all receipts and documentation. I'm now having to dispute this to try to recover the money. Just hoping others can avoid the same situation. read more

update: my phone wasn't able to get fixed. they want to give me a refurbished phone even though I pay monthly for protection for malfunction situations like this. so because I didn't want a used phone i chose to upgrade and now my bill is more than it was all because my current phone is malfunctioning (not receiving texts) and i want a new phone not refurbished phone because why pay for insurance monthly and something is wrong with the phone, mind you I have no scratches, cracks anything. the phone is perfectly fine except im not receiving all my text. this is not a right way to do this. After a quick 10 minute wait, I was greeted by Gisell, who listened to my problems with a hotspot and the useless 611 Verizon has. Internet CS people said I can bundle internet (between 300 - 1000 mbps) and phone w/incredible discounts on 30 day trial. After 13 days, my net speed never got over 200mbps. Phone CS - they LIED.. speed is coming. The speed never increased and no discounts were applied. Phone CS: discounts are coming soon. Another lie... when my trial was almost up, Phone CS: sooooooo sorry you cannot get that speed in your area .. WHAT? I IMMEDIATELY cancelled Verizon net (good thing I didn't canceled spectrum) and went back to T-Mobile today. That's when the "transfer pin" volleyball game started. The Manager, at the Hemet store on Florida, Diana (pronounced Dee-Anna) - LIED and said since I switched back to T-mobile - my 15 yr old phone number was, within 5 mins of switching to t-mobile, reassigned to someone else. THAT ... WAS .. A .. BOLD FACED LIE! In my face, DeeAnna (diana) LIED! ... I said I want it back. She said "here, call CS" tossing a post it at me. "I don't want to call CS its hard to get through." With that, she got up and walked away. wait .. What?? I was dismissed. Her attitude was appaulling .. In store, I got CS rep Connie on the phone and she wanted Diana (deeanna) on the call. That's when DeeAnna (Diana) gave her own CS rep Connie attitude and barely helped. Connie was shocked at the unprofessionalism and rudeness from her own Verizon colleague. This store is so incompetent and rude on top of it. Every time I visit this location I am treated rudely by the staff and they never know what they are doing. It is unfortunate because it is the only official Verizon store locally. But just know what you are getting yourself into. Prepare for being there for a long time. Even with an appointment, and for employees that are rude and also don't know what they are doing. It's really a fun combination. I couldn't even seem to go in and buy a cell phone case without waiting forever with no help. Too bad corporate doesn't have higher expectations for their local dealers. One star is generous. We came in and bought 3 new phones and they were happy to take our money. One of the phones was defective, and we brought it back within weeks. We were notified that we could receive a refurbished phone. Not a brand new phone. Strike one. We also came in because there was a $235 discrepancy between the amount of trade in I was quoted and what I got. I asked for their assistance and they referred me to 1-800 number, which I gav up on after 11 minutes. Bottom line, they were not forthcoming during the sales. The clerk saw my phone and it was turned in later that night. If she saw issues with it, she should have advised at that time. But it feels like she didn't say anything for the sales. And replacing defective products with used ones? Lame. The customer service clerk, Dave, was apathetic and not helpful. If you have to use Verizon, stay away from this store. EDIT: They added a comment about wanting to have good customer service, yet they offered no remedies. Point. Proven. read more

Ugh... Seriously, having to go here makes me want to switch wireless providers. So why don't I? Because the other ones aren't any better and their service is inferior. The wait to get help here is ridiculous most of the time and if you want to buy a couple of new phones you'd better make an appointment and block out 2 hours. The staff is great; knowledgeable and friendly, but the process is grueling and even something like a screen protector replacement (which they make you come into the store to do) can take what feels like an eternity. It's not that I hate Verizon, I just hate having to go to this store and sit there mindlessly while people lament over the pink phone case with the unicorn on it or the sparkly one with the built in pop socket. They need to find a way to improve the in-store customer experience. read more

This place is a scam and like to steal money from minorities. My mother went in to get 2 new phones, and did the promotion of trading in the old phones to pay towards the new ones. But this time was different and they didn't take the old phones right then and there, they wanted her to mail them and that's the biggest fxcking scam right there. They gave her the USPS labels to send them off so she did so and waited about a month. She received emails saying they never received them. She called Verizon to see what's up and the lady she spoke to, very nice told her they received them. BUT, some time after she got another email saying they still weren't received. So She Verizon called again and told her she needed to call USPS because the box they relieved was EMPTY.. she calls USPS and is told that there isn't much they can do and that Verizon should of been calling them on the issue since they were the ones to to requested the mail out and that the label came with some type of coverage for these types of occurrences. She called Verizon again, spoke to the manager and they said their was nothing they could do since they weren't responsable for lost items. Now my mother is stuck paying a high bill for new phones when she was suppose to get a discount for turning in the old ones. So next time anyone goes to this facility, opt out to mail in your trades phones, it's total bs they need to take the phones right there and have them be responsible for the lost phones. It's a way for them to get more money, and I think my mother is not the first person this has happened to. read more

I would like to inform anyone of color that this establishment especially the rude manager needs to go back and train for a great customer service. Long story short went into this establishment yesterday waited an hour before I was able to be seen then when I was able to be seeing the young lady sent me well wanted me to stand while everyone else was sitting and I said no, I would like to sit like all your other customers, so she found a place for me to sit, then she pulls up my approval but it was on hold due to me not sending a piece of mail them to verify. I gave her my application number. She informed me that she wasn't running my credit again because I showed her on my email that if you run the credit again, it can delay, the approval that they already had so she gives me the number to call in customer service. I call Lynn I'm on hold for about 45 more minutes during that time she says I'm gonna go help another customer when you're ready just let me down and I'll come back to assist you well, she just leaves doesn't come back up to me to let me know that she went home Then I talk to the manager and explain to him and he's like oh well yeah she went home but there's nothing we could do because we can't past the screen that showing that I need to verify my identity. I said well I'm on hold with customer service. Just a bad experience never have experience anything like it and with that being said I've been in customer service for over 25 years and they need help. The manager does not need to be a manager. I really needed my phone fixed yesterday 10/4/22 so I went to this Verizon. The service I received was disgusting. I parked in the wrong area for a pick up and instead of the employees asking me to move my car they completely ignored me and helped other customers, one of the tall employees even came out and started pushing me out of the store and the other employees had to hold him back. Cory was excellent in explaining how everything worked on it- i am not tech savvy- and loaded all my stuff from the old one to the new one.
