I have awesome customer service from this verizon store. I.bought my first iphone from them 6 years ago and when it was no longer supported from Apple I bought a new one. Cory was excellent in explaining how everything worked on it- i am not tech savvy- and loaded all my stuff from the old one to the new one. Cynthia the great and helpful manager told me to come in and she hooked us up with a service tech, Vanessa. I have been here many times before and not liked anyone here. They were always rude and I always left in a huff. My mom has come here before and worked with a guy name Alex D. So yesterday I went in and met Alex to talk about getting a phone that doesn't break all the time. ( a previous worker sold me on a phone that broke every single day). Alex worked with me for two hours (had a lot of questions!) I got a iPhone 5S, my bill was worked out completely and I understand it now. I am writing this letter in regards to my service at the Verizon Wireless store on the corner of Sanderson and Florida in Hemet, CA. I have been to this store several times over the past two months and each time the service is worse than before. I came into the Verizon store on/around Dec. 15th, 2011. On this occasion my husband and I waited at least 30 minutes for service. We were finally seen we attempted to buy 2 phones cases; one for myself and one for my husband. We were seen by a store associate. After we left with the new phone cases my husband realized that his phone case was wrong. We went back and spoke to the same exact sales person. When we told him that the cases were wrong he said, "To be honest I didn't even look at which phone you had." He didn't even care enough to look at the phone to make sure he was selling us the right product for the right phone. On Dec. 26, 2011 I came into the Verizon store with my brother and his wife. We were helped by Natasha. My brother had bought his wife a new phone for Christmas. He bought the phone at Best Buy but was having a problem with the activation of the phone. On that day we probably waited for at least 45 minutes, the store was admittedly busy though. When we did finally receive service, my brother explained his situation to Natasha. As soon as he said he had purchased the phone at Best Buy her demeanor changed and she became very rude and dismissive. She told him to "go back to Best Buy." She continued to be rude to my brother for the remainder of their interaction. Today, February 10, 2012, we went into the Verizon store. It was slow and there were several people who were free. The manager Chris came up to us and asked if we needed help. After we said we did he said we would have to wait and continued to play on his tablet while talking to another free associate about a test she had taken in school. He did not even attempt to help us; apparently customer service is not in his job description. I was struggling to upgrade to my new Android Galaxy Note 9. I was using Samsung Smart Switch and plugged in via USB. It kept trying to have me scan quick mark for wireless. So I took it to the Verizon Store on Florida and Sanderson. Mark took my phones and setup the transfer. I had to time to do some shopping. But Oops old phone battery died and it wasn't complete. Mark was mellow as can be and just restarted the transfer. Excellent service. I will visit again when the need arises. read more

This store is so annoying I have tried to upgrade my devices there twice and been turned away both times. First time I was told no walk-in's make an appointment. So this morning I make an appointment for 4pm. Get a confirmation text, do the whole check in and head over. I get there only to be told no, you probably made it at the wrong location. Checked the text with the check in lady and nope, it totally was the right location, so she says well sorry, you made it this morning so it's not valid and we don't take walk-in's. Wtf?! Why does your system let people make appointments if they aren't available? And why can you not then attempt to accommodate your crappy system?! The system obviously checked me in on my part but the person working had no desire to find a way to help. I went in because I needed a new phone ASAP the iPhone 7 had just come out so it was the perfect timing. I was told I didn't qualify for any type of upgrade, which was fine, I went in knowing I would probably have to pay for the phone full front anyway. It wasn't that complicated, I just wanted to buy the phone and get out of there. After some waiting around the sales rep told me that because I have been with Verizon I qualified for some store credit. I didn't fully understand why, but heyyyy they make it sound so good I was convinced. I picked out two items, paid the balance of 700 and some change for the phone, and headed out. A couple of months later I went in because I wanted to switch out of Verizon just to find out that I still had a $600 balance on my account! Turns out she put that money towards the items I picked and set my phone up to be paid in a month to month basis. I was very upset, when I initially went in to purchase the sales rep even asked "awww, have you been saving up?" Because the deal was that I was paying for the phone full front right there and then! I went back and I wanted to confront her, I knew there wasn't much I could have done, but I still wanted to talk to her, tell her to look at the cameras, that I remembered every single detail from that day, especially that I remembered how she she had led me to believe I was purchasing the phone. She presented me with misleading information and false advertisement. After a couple tries, and never finding her there, I gave up and just decided to cancel my service. Terrible! Stay far, far, far away. My parents and I share a family plan and my dad was eligible for an upgrade on his phone, unfortunately they decided to go in-store instead of online. Who knew this would be lesser of an option, it really goes to show, you're better off doing the thing yourself. From what my parents told me (unfortunately, again I was not there with them), both their incompetent representative Natasha, and manager were present when they told my parents we could not upgrade our phone without getting a newer, current, and mind you, more EXPENSIVE plan. What pissed me off even more was that they were tricked into getting a new plan (share everything) that featured a share plan on 2gb of data. Here's the thing: I was grandfathered into keeping my unlimited data plan for $30 a month. So there goes that! We're calling and calling trying to get our old plan back, including my unlimited data. This girl (I was going to say lady), also applied insurance on my parent's phone with consulting them, we only found out after complaining to Verizon. It's such a hassle. NEVER go to this store. Save yourself the headache, turn on your computer and do it yourself! Even if you need help, just call. In this case, calling is more helpful. Who knew! Again, terrible! read more

They turned them away and they basically said to go home and call your daughter to help you with your new account. WTF!!! I really wish this could've been a better experience. Walking in we knew that it was a difficult or confusing upgrade that we had been promised on the phone. And patiently explained that to whomever we were talking to. After waiting 30 min.... Again understand it's a Friday it could be busy. I asked to use their restroom at 36 weeks pregnant and a bit hard to move around they let me know that it would be too much of a security risk to allow me to use the bathroom. I needed to walk to the nearby Taco Bell or target. Upon my return from the walk to another location I found several employees gathered to apologize to my husband for not allowing me to use the restroom. One of the managers and I use that term very loose. Asked how far along I was in my pregnancy..... I answered "9 months" and for him to say "well you need to walk anyway" Finally we were called upon, we explained our situation to the employee NATASHA. She was visibly bothered from the moment she called our name. She was checking her phone the entire time. Walking away to air her frustration with other employees. Rolling her eyes. DANIELE one of the managers finally stepped in and was amazing. As for Natasha please I beg of you run for the hills. her customer service is beyond lack luster and she is very rude. She pushed us off from the very beginning. There was in no way shape or form any effort given to treat me even like a person. While asking different questions in regards to price and details was given the "you get what you pay for" I fully understand that and was clearly trying to narrow details. Telling another employee "you said this was going to take 15 minutes " as I stood there in front of her. She was more concerned about customers she had previously helped that came in waiting for her apologizing to them for the wait and not her rude service. She made judgements and comments based of her perception and not the reality of the situation. We went to this store yesterday my I-phone had an issue, the man that helped us made a mistake & added the wrong number to the new phone. Then the girl that tried to fix it today accidentally canceled my husbands service. He realized it after we got home. So now I have to wait till Friday for a new phone,To top it off the girl that we saw today had zero customer service experience. An hour of drive time waisted, another hour to deal with this & the problem is still pending. Already reluctant to go into the store, I had no choice because I needed help getting my 3G WiFi back onto my phone. I was greeted by a rep by the name of A-- (actual name not released but you will know who I am talking about if you happen to encounter this person.) Anyhow, he sat next to me and I explained my issue of the 3G being missing which stopped me from gaining access to the internet. After about 5 minutes of trying to figure out the problem, he concluded and expressed to me that my phone does not work because it is too old (Droid 3) and it would be too time consuming to get it working. Yes, I agreed that my phone is older but it still worked. He advised me to go home and use my own WiFi for my phone which would not solve my problem. He also told me that they did not have Wifi that I could connect to. (Yeah Right!!). I bet he would find a connection for wifi if I were purchasing a new phone since their real money is earned in commission. Well, after explaining that I would like my phone to be accessible to the internet at all times, he told me that the phone was not in working condition and it would only work with WiFi which I could only connect to when away from home. Since he did not have interest in assisting me, I asked for the manager which I was told the same story. I asked for assistance from phone Tech Support since they were not able to help me. The manager tried to fix my issue more than the first rep who was assigned to me. Still....What a joke. To shorten the story, Tech support solved my issue and the phone works. The WiFi is back. After I hung up with Tech Support, the manager asked if my phone worked for which I confirmed it did showing on my phone the fields selected to get the internet access back. I wasted my time and gas going to that Verizon store for assistance. I always get frustrated when having to go there because the customer service usually sucks which is another reason I've held onto my phones for so long. If I need to go to a Verizon store again, I will visit another branch or call in for assistance. read more

Went there today to transfer 2 lines off an account and take over liability of said accounts. The woman that helped us left me very frustrated. Can't remember her name but Caucasian and kind of blonde. She wrote down 3 different options and when we asked what different numbers were for she said she didn't know and would have to do it again. Also wanted us to sign up for more data which we don't use from our account history. Useless or ignorant, not sure which. I approached the guy at the front of the Hemet Verizon store saying i had a Verizon mobile device warranty and needed a battery replacement for my iPhone 6s. He said Verizon no longer replaces batteries. Period. I asked what i could do and he suggested i call An Apple store about getting a replacement battery. I called Apple and of course they knew nothing about my Verizon warranty and would charge me full price for any service and parts . After calling the Verizon technical support line i was directed to the proper channels for getting my battery replacement under the warranty through their authorized vendor UBreakIfix. Very sad the in-person Verizon store experience was such a waste of time. Sales people should be better trained and informed as to how they can help long-term Customers like myself. Walked in and Walked up to a representative named Diana or Tiana I think to check me in and she looked right at me and turned her back without helping me out. I went straight to the back and asked a guy to help me out and he told me to ask her. She gave me attitude like I was bothering her and she told me to have a seat as she turned and walked off. More customers came in and she went up to each of them smiling and saying "have a seat, talk, enjoy yourself." Blah blah blah attending all their needs while ignoring me and never helped me out. This Verizon had a door greeter that told me a sales person would be with me momentarily. The wait was short. Currently I have my phone with AT&T but I wanted him to pencil out what the advantage would being if I came over to Verizon. The way he did it was very clear so I can see all the charges. I'm taking off one star because, I have a new iPhone 6 and They would give less than half of what I paid for it for a trade-in, $350.00. Ouch. The reception with AT&T is horrible, so that is the reason to get the Verizon account. With the lousy trade in, I'm going to have to keep my AT&T account for a bit longer. Another thing, Verizon monthly fee would be $10 a month more for the same equipment and service. But it would be worth it if I got better reception. read more

I am a firm believer that commission sales breeds poor customer service. But I had to replace a charging cord right away so was forced into the store. I got lucky because I had Justin Brown help me. He is a man full of integrity who will only help you with what you need or want. He will not hard press you into buying something extra you don't want or need and he will not give you half truths. He will give you the straight story on the pros and cons of devices and help you make an informed decision. If you must go into the store, I highly recommend you make an appointment to work with him. Service here was amazing. After calling a different Verizon and being on hold forever I finally came into this store and was helped within minutes! I was immediately greeted and offered assistance! The assistant manager was able to help me get my phone fixed and update my plan with no hesitation.. I always feel pressured when I go into other stores (prob why I tried calling first) but here I actually felt like the people were here to help me and not sell me something. My phone works again!!! I bought my first phone the other day & paid over a thousand dollars. I was told I was paying for unlimited pre paid data, talk, text, & hotspot! I tried to use my hotspot today and it wasn't working so I went into this store where I bought my phone to explain my problem. I was told the lady misinformed me and I do not have hotspot, I get upset because I need hotspot to do my work and the Verizon manager then comes & started yelling at me when the worker was the one in the wrong by telling me false information.
